In the latest update of Universal Tower Defense X, several new characters have joined the lineup, thanks to the introduction of the Universal Festival Part 2. While many of these new additions hail from the Dragon Ball anime, a few intriguing characters come from the renowned indie game, Limbus Company. Among them is Big Brother, a character modeled after Ricardo from The Middle syndicate in Limbus Company. Players can access Big Brother via the Universal Festival Battle Pass.

How to get Big Brother in Universal Tower Defense X
To unlock Big Brother, players need to reach Tier 50 on the Free reward track of the Universal Festival Battle Pass. Progression in the Battle Pass is achieved by completing levels across different game modes, thereby earning Battle Pass EXP.
Accessing the Universal Festival Battle Pass is simple: just click on the Battlepass icon located on the right side of the screen. The pass features two tracks—Free and Premium. The Premium track, which offers additional rewards, including the Shiny Big Brother at Tier 50, requires the purchase of a Premium Pass for 799 Robux.
The Universal Festival Battle Pass can be viewed by pressing the Battlepass icon on the right side of the screen. It has both a Free and Premium reward track, the latter of which is unlocked by purchasing the Premium Pass with 799 Robux. The Premium reward track features Shiny Big Brother as the Tier 50 reward.
Apart from gaining Battle Pass EXP, you can buy the “Skip 10 Tiers” gamepass to progress in the pass. It costs 999 Robux and lets you instantly collect all rewards from the next locked tiers.
Evolution requirements for Big Brother in Universal Tower Defense X
You can evolve Big Brother to Big Brother (Vengeance) in Universal Tower Defense X. To execute this evolution, speak to the Evolutions NPC, select the character, and submit the following items:
- 12x Phantom Fragment
- 3x Universal Fragment
- 5x Frozen Fragment
- 5x Burning Fragment
- 1x Hair Salon Coupon
- 25,000 Gold
You can earn all Fragments in Universal Tower Defense X by clearing Acts in the Legend Stage and completing Challenges. These items are also obtainable from the Virtual Merchant and the Merchant.
The Hair Salon Coupon is a reward in the battle pass itself. To acquire the evolution item, all you need to do is reach Tier 50 in the pass and obtain the Big Brother character.
Passives of Big Brother (Vengeance) in Universal Tower Defense X
Big Brother (Vengeance) has a couple of passive abilities. Although it is drastically underwhelming compared to the meta units, the character is best for new players aiming to complete the Story and Legend Stages. It can buff its damage while also occasionally removing debuffs from itself.
Here are all the passives of Big Brother (Vengeance):
The Middle Never Forgets
- When hitting the same enemy more than once, the Big Brother (Vengeance) unit activates the Vengeance mark on the enemy.
- The Vengeance mark increases the damage the enemy takes with each attack by 5%. The damage can stack up to 20%.
Brush It Off
- Every new wave, the unit cleanses itself of one debuff.
- If no debuffs are present, the unit increases its damage by 30%.
- If in Wave 15 or more in the Story mode or other similar modes, the unit cleanses itself every 45 seconds. It does not wait for the next wave to begin.
Big Brother (Vengeance) could have been more useful if it applied buffs to its allies. Nonetheless, its self-sufficiency and moderate spawn cost of 1300 Yen make it a powerful addition in a beginner’s team.
