Caitlyn Jenner has made headlines by seeking access to the Apple account of her deceased friend, Sophia Hutchins, due to an alleged debt of approximately $500,000.

According to a report by TMZ on Saturday, the former Olympic athlete has filed a court order request. Jenner claims that the account managed by her late friend, who also served as her manager, contains valuable work-related information crucial for her business operations.

Adding to the request, Hutchins’ estate, managed by her mother Amy, has also sought access. They argue that the absence of vital data has led to financial setbacks, affecting their ability to fulfill certain obligations.

The legal document notes that without the Apple account, the payment of Hutchins’ and the estate’s income taxes, as well as the management of her assets’ inventories and appraisals, is impossible.

Amy initially approached Apple for access to the account but was informed that a court order would be necessary to proceed.

A rep for Jenner, 76, wasn’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Hutchins died after crashing an ATV near Jenner’s $3.5 million condo in Malibu, California, on July 2, 2025. She was 29.

According to TMZ, the businesswoman crashed into a moving car, and her vehicle tumbled down a 350-foot ravine.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Per a creditor’s claim obtained by Page Six earlier this month, Jenner claimed Hutchins owed her $439,095.88 in cash advances, credit card charges, legal fees and shopping sprees leading up to her death.

Per the filing, Hutchins allegedly racked up a bill of $273,000 at several businesses, including eBay, Shopify and 1stdibs.

She also had in $16,000 in debit card debt and around $7,000 in cash advances.

Jenner also cited more than $133,000 that Hutchins owed her for attorneys.

The retired athlete allowed Hutchins access to work credit cards throughout her employment. However, Hutchins was required to pay back any transactions for personal funds.

TMZ reported that Hutchins’ estate allowed the retired athlete’s request.
