Snapchat Tattoo Leads to Arrest of New Jersey Woman for Child Abuse

0

A distinctive tattoo spotted in a distressing Snapchat video led authorities to a New Jersey woman, now charged with the sexual abuse of a child in her care. This crucial identification sprang the investigation into motion, alerting law enforcement to a troubling case.

Victoria Anne Cranmer has been charged with multiple offenses, including second-degree sexual assault, second-degree production of child sexual abuse material, third-degree endangerment of a child’s welfare, and third-degree possession of child sexual abuse material, according to court documents accessed by Jersey Shore Online.

The investigation commenced on May 20, spearheaded by Little Egg Harbor Police alongside the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. They were alerted by the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency, according to court records seen by the publication.

Initially, investigators spoke with a woman identified as Ms. H, who discovered a video allegedly showing her young son inappropriately touching Cranmer’s exposed genitals, as court records detail. It was noted by police that Cranmer provided babysitting services for Ms. H’s son, as well as the daughter of another woman, Ms. P.

The affidavit, supported by information from NJ.com, revealed further context: Cranmer resided with Ms. P, who had gifted the 25-year-old an iPhone for her birthday in April. This gift unwittingly became a linchpin in uncovering the alarming video evidence.

When the pair had a falling out Cranmer moved out and Ms. P told investigators that she’d asked for the phone back.

While looking through the device, Ms. P allegedly discovered a 14-second video saved in Cranmer’s Snapchat memories that showed a child being sexually abused, authorities said.

Ms. P was able to identify the woman in the video as Cranmer because of a distinctive tattoo on her leg of “boobs, a lightning bolt and a mushroom,” police noted in the affidavit.

The witness saved the video and then handed the device over to police, who obtained a search warrant and uncovered more Snapchat videos of Cranmer with the child, according to the court records.

In one video, per the affidavit, Cranmer was allegedly sitting on a toilet with her genitals exposed as a child touched her. The video also showed her laughing and talking with the child, police said.

Cranmer was arrested and taken to the Ocean County Jail, where she’s currently being held without bond, according to jail records reviewed by Oxygen.

Her next court hearing is scheduled for July 14. Its unclear whether she has retained an attorney.

Florida Home Invasion: Suspects Posed as Utility Workers, Zip-Tied Teen, Indicted by DOJ

0

In a dramatic turn of events, two men from Florida now face charges after one committed an armed home invasion while masquerading as a utility worker. This brazen act, involving the confinement of a local family, including a teenager, was unveiled by the Justice Department on Tuesday.

The accused individuals, Jay El Wilburn, aged 47, and Alvaughn Parker, aged 27, both residents of Tampa, have been charged with numerous federal offenses. These charges include conspiracy to carry out Hobbs Act robbery—an offense involving the disruption of interstate commerce through robbery—alongside charges of robbery, using a firearm during a violent crime, and firearm possession by a felon.

Details from the indictment reveal that Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at a Tampa apartment on January 20 following a reported armed robbery incident.

Federal prosecutors allege that Jay El Wilburn, dressed convincingly as a utility worker, executed the robbery while restraining a family with the aid of his co-conspirator, 27-year-old Alvaughn Parker. (Justice Department)

Wilburn is accused of donning a hard hat and reflective vest as part of his disguise to gain access to the residence. Inside, he encountered a man, a woman, and their 13-year-old son, to whom he posed a significant threat.

Once allowed inside, Wilburn brandished a Taurus PT58S .380-caliber pistol. He grabbed the woman by the back of her neck and pressed the gun to her stomach, federal prosecutors said.

He then forced her to zip-tie the hands of both the man and the teenage boy behind their backs. Once they were restrained, Parker entered the home wearing a face mask and large sunglasses, dressed entirely in black.

The pair stole approximately $15,000 in cash, controlled substances, three firearms, about two ounces of marijuana, and jewelry physically taken from one of the victims before fleeing the scene.

Investigators linked the two suspects to the robbery using surveillance footage from nearby buildings, license plate readers, and other investigative methods.

On Feb. 2, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) executed a federal search warrant at Wilburn’s residence, where they recovered the loaded firearm used in the robbery.

Wilburn has prior felony convictions, including carjacking and the use of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, legally prohibiting him from possessing firearms.

He has also previously served a federal prison sentence for using a firearm during a crime of violence.

Wife Shares Harrowing Account of Husband’s Ejection from Ryanair Flight

0

Svetlana Maksimovic and her husband, Ljubisa Karovic, had just made themselves comfortable on a Ryanair flight when suddenly, an explosive sound disrupted the engine’s steady drone.

In a matter of moments, she witnessed a horrifying scene as her 61-year-old husband was pulled forcefully through an open cabin window.

This dramatic event, deemed extremely rare by Greek officials, unfolded as Karovic, seated next to the window, was practically wrenched from his seat during a flight from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Germany on July 10. Desperate attempts by his wife and nearby passengers to keep him inside the aircraft marked those terrifying minutes.

“I’ve never experienced anything that loud before,” Maksimovic recounted to Reuters. “I turned and saw that part of his body had already been pulled through the window.”

She added with disbelief, “His head and right arm were dangling outside.”

Karovic is now being treated in hospital in Thessaloniki with severe neck and arm injuries.

Greek media and airport sources said that a piece of engine likely broke off and smashed a window early in the flight, causing the cabin to decompress.

Boeing says it’s assisting the investigation, being led by North Macedonia, over which the incident occurred.

The US National Transportation Safety Board and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency are involved in the investigation.

A Greek prosecutor has also launched a probe into the case, while Greek air accident investigators are also looking into it. The aircraft is still ‌in Greece.

“What happened was extremely serious,” ‌the couple’s legal adviser, Vassilis Tsiaras, said, adding that the pending results of the probe were pivotal.

Ryanair, which has confirmed that a window dislodged during the flight, said it would not comment further while the incident is under formal investigation.

After takeoff, Karovic was relaxed and had probably fallen asleep, Maksimovic said.

She said that after the loud bang occurred, a woman sitting next to her husband kept pulling his left arm but it was only after another passenger came to help that ‌they succeeded in getting him back inside the plane, which had by then started to descend.

Maksimovic, who had left her seat to help her husband, put an oxygen mask on him while another passenger gave her one for her own use.

“His face was completely disfigured, there was blood everywhere and his ears, eyes, nose were completely deformed,” she said, adding that her husband was still struggling to recover.

“The consequences remain for him and for me,” Maksimovic said.

“How we’re going to heal and how long that treatment will last and in what way, we’ll see.”

McDonald’s Debuts New Caesar Sauce, Sparking Mixed Reactions Among Customers

0

In a new twist to its menu, McDonald’s is debuting a Caesar sauce, sparking a range of reactions from its customers.

The fast-food behemoth announced the addition of Caesar sauce, portrayed as “a creamy, garlicky parmesan blend with a hint of lemon,” as part of a trio of items launching in stores on July 21, according to their announcement on Tuesday.

This sauce will complement the Caesar Snack Wrap, which features a McCrispy Strip, shredded cheese, and lettuce wrapped snugly in a tortilla.

Moreover, the Bacon Caesar McCrispy will also include this new sauce, enhancing a McCrispy filet layered with bacon, lettuce, Roma tomatoes, onions, and crinkle-cut pickles, all sandwiched in a toasted potato roll.

Fans can also enjoy the new condiment with McCrispy Strips, which made their debut in May, showcasing an updated “even crispier” panko-coated breading.

McDonald’s teased the release on Instagram, where followers quickly filled the comments with excitement.

“A thousand wows. Didn’t know how much I needed this Caesar wrap til right now,” one person wrote.

“I spent 20 years working at McDonald’s begging for this,” another added.

But the announcement also sparked renewed calls for McDonald’s to bring back its Caesar salads, which were removed from menus in 2020.

McDonald’s salads got the axe as the chain streamlined its menu during the COVID-19 pandemic, when labor shortages and supply issues pushed restaurants to focus on their biggest sellers.

The move also came after a 2018 cyclospora outbreak linked to McDonald’s salads sickened hundreds of people, prompting the chain to pull the salad mix from affected restaurants and switch suppliers.

“To put on what?! Salads still aren’t back 🙄😒,” one customer wrote in response to the new Caesar sauce.

“BRING BACK THE SALADS NOWWWWW,” another demanded.

Others reminisced about McSalad Shakers, the salads served in a to-go cup from the early 2000s, which included a Grilled Chicken Caesar option.

“Just bring the shakable salads cups please 🙏 🙌,” one fan wrote.

The Caesar sauce is the latest addition to McDonald’s menu.

The chain brought back its Fried Apple Pie for a limited run on June 23, decades after replacing it with the Baked Apple Pie in the 1990s.

Last month, McDonald’s also revived its Big Mac Sauce, serving it with specialty fries and nuggets in a gold cup as part of its World Cup 2026 promotions.

Washington County BOE District 1 Candidates Address Voters Ahead of Election

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Residents of Washington County gathered to engage with candidates seeking election in various positions for the upcoming August elections.

A pivotal contest has emerged in the race for the Board of Education District 1, where four hopefuls compete for three available seats.

During an event on Tuesday evening, two candidates made an appearance: Republican contender Jimmy Johnson and Democratic hopeful Mary Grace Wooten. Both shared with News Channel 11 their dedication to addressing financial planning challenges.

“I want a detailed report on all financial distributions. A thorough budget review is essential to ensure adequate support for our teachers. We must also evaluate any unnecessary allocations alongside our superintendent,” articulated Johnson.

Wooten, expressing her commitment despite her cerebral palsy, stated, “Visiting each school to grasp their unique requirements is my priority,” with her husband Matt assisting her during the discussion with News Channel 11.

One notable absence from the event was incumbent Keith Ervin.

Wooten told News Channel 11 that students and parents deserve a leader they can trust, while Johnson said he is looking to the future and not the past.

“All students need to have trustworthy leaders with integrity who, you know, students can look up to and respect. Also, that they can relate to,” Wooten said.

“That’s in the past as far as I’m concerned. And I look to the future, and that’s about all I’m going to say on that,” Johnson said.

Both candidates feel like they are the right choice for the position.

“If you want somebody on there who’s going to treat students and teachers with respect in the community, they need to vote for me,” Johnson said.

“Mary Grace is saying that she has a different perspective or a different view, because she’s been in and experienced, you know, really bad and really good public school systems,” Wooten’s husband, Matt, said.

Republican candidate Annette Buchanan was not at the event.

Tragic Loss: 23-Year-Old Woman Found Dead After Record-Breaking Flood

0

A family in Missouri is grappling with profound grief after the body of 23-year-old Faith Gregory was found, days after she was tragically swept away by fierce floodwaters.

Volunteers discovered Gregory’s body on Saturday morning, just 1.8 miles from her home in Huzzah Creek, following a severe flooding incident that struck the area the previous day.

“This is not the outcome that any of us were hoping for,” expressed the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, echoing the community’s collective sorrow.

The statement continued, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Faith’s family, friends, and all those affected by this tragic loss.”

With the discovery of Gregory’s body, the search for missing persons in the county concluded, following the devastating thunderstorms that unleashed torrents of rain on the area.

A state of emergency was declared on Friday by Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe, who later said that hundreds of people had been saved from floodwaters, trees, rooftops and stranded vehicles, The Guardian reported.

Relentless thunderstorms dumped between six and 12 inches of rain near the Black River in southeastern Missouri, inundating roads, campgrounds and communities.

In midst of the flooding, the wall’s of Gregory’s home, where she and her boyfriend Logan Ousley lived, had collapsed from the forces of the waters.

She and Ousley, as well as their four dogs, managed to find their way into a kayak before Gregory and the dogs were swept away in the currents, KSDK reported.

Ousley was able to make his way out of the waters while one of the four dogs was discovered alive around eight miles from their home.

Nearby, two others had been rescued from the waters, the outlet reported.

Upon the discovery of Gregory’s body, her sister Kayla Dawn wrote: ‘She isn’t just my sister, she’s my person, the person I call for everything.’

Dawn described Gregory as her ‘best friend’ and the ‘best Aunt Faye to every kid she knows.’

‘I can’t believe this is our reality, my heart hurts. I’m so lost and confused on what to do. All I know is I want to see my sister again…This hurts. I want to hug my sister. I love you,’ the heartbroken sister continued.

Days earlier Dawn turned to social media petitioning for help to find her sister.

‘The flood was bad, storm was intense. Please everyone that lives down in Cherryville/Davisville, check the creeks, yell her name. Please help me find my sister,’ she wrote.

In a later post, Dawn said that no GoFundMe would be made by her family and anyone looking to donate should send funds to the Wilson Mortuary for Gregory’s funeral arrangements.

On Friday morning, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood emergency as between eight and 12 inches of rain fell in the area.

‘Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation,’ NWS said.

‘Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under evacuation order.’

The rainfall and flash flooding followed a warning from Governor Kehoe who wrote: ‘With additional heavy rain expected through the weekend, the threat is not over. If you’re camping, floating or spending time near rivers and streams, move to higher ground and stay alert of weather conditions.’

‘Missourians should continue to monitor local forecasts and follow the guidance of local authorities,’ he added.

Roads were left underwater, including around Camp Taum Sauk where children and staff were trapped by the floods before they were rescued by National Guard helicopters, according to the state’s highway patrol.

‘We are beyond thankful for your help keeping our camp community safe,’ Camp Taum Sauk officials posted on Instagram following the rescue.

Four people were pronounced missing by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, one of which being Gregory. The remaining three were rescued, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said five people were rescued from Bearcat Getaway campground when the flooding hit the area near Lesterville.

A building later collapsed at the same campground, causing around ten to 17 people to fall into the water before they were later rescued, KSDK reported.

In Reynold’s County, Eddie Young of the highway patrol’s Troop G announced that five people were still missing on Friday. Around an hour later, all persons were accounted for in the county, according to the outlet.

The extreme weather also endangered first responders. During one rescue mission, a Missouri State Highway Patrol boat became entangled in a submerged line.

The two troopers aboard were forced to abandon the vessel and enter the floodwaters before both safely made it ashore without injury.

The floods came after several inches of rain fell overnight on Thursday and into the morning across a long swath of central and eastern Missouri.

Joe Holt took video of flooding in Lesterville. Footage from the air saw several major roads made impassable due to flooding and damage.

Houses were also flooded in Annapolis, Missouri as rising waters from the creek washed over roads and bridges.

Meteorologists described the deluge as a ‘once-in-a-millennium’ rainfall event, warning that swollen rivers would continue rising even after the rain eased, raising fears that the worst flooding may still be ahead.

Trump Announces Targeted Military Strategy Against Iran’s Infrastructure, Vows Continuation Until Objectives Met

0

President Trump has announced plans to launch a significant offensive on Iran’s infrastructure, focusing on power plants and bridges next week, unless Tehran agrees to negotiate.

Speaking to Fox News on Tuesday, Trump declared that U.S. military forces are prepared to deliver severe strikes, both tonight and tomorrow night, in a relentless assault that will continue until he decides to halt the action.

“I’m keeping the energy targets for later, but eventually we’re going to hit their energy infrastructures,” Trump cautioned.

“Expect a harsh blow the following night, and then by next week, the situation will worsen significantly for Iran, as we will be targeting their power facilities,” he stated.

He further mentioned that U.S. forces would aim at Iran’s bridges in the upcoming week, unless Iran agrees to a peace treaty that involves relinquishing their nuclear aspirations.

He vowed the attacks will continue ‘until I say it’s enough.’

In an update late on Tuesday night, CENTCOM advised another round of strikes had been completed, hitting dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian coastal areas.

‘US fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels launched precision munitions against Iranian missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems during the seven-hour wave to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews,’ the update said.

US forces resumed the naval blockade against vessels transiting to or from Iranian ports and coastal areas.

The latest US bombing campaign comes after Trump notified Congress that the war would resume after Iran breached the memorandum of understanding by targeting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

In an interview with Fox News Channel, the president said the US plans to launch at least two more days of strikes against Iran and that such attacks will continue ‘until I say it’s enough’

Trump did not rule out using US ground forces to ensure that his key objectives are met, especially when it comes to removing Iran’s enriched uranium.

US forces had been careful not to harm Iran’s civilian population with strikes, but Trump warned Iran that everything was on the table.

‘You better make a deal, or you’re not going to have anything left,’ he said.

The President also likened Iran to ‘a great boxer’ that needed to be put to the mat.

‘You think you have them beat, then they’ll come back and give you a shot,’ Trump said.

Trump suggested later in the interview with Fox News that he wasn’t interested in continuing negotiations immediately with Iran because ‘they lie.’

He also said the last contact he had with negotiators was an hour ago.

The President praised his Cabinet for its work on the Iran issue, including Pete Hegseth, as he said ‘oil is flowing like never before.’

He also announced he was replacing the 20 percent fee the US was charging on the Strait of Hormuz to various Gulf States.

‘Those Investments will be MASSIVE but, at the same time, extraordinarily good for them, and their future,’ he wrote on Truth Social.

The US military says it has reimposed its blockade of Iranian ports in response to Iran’s attacks on commercial ships on the Strait of Hormuz, as the interim ceasefire deal unravels.

There are at least 19 warships in the northern Arabian Sea, including two aircraft carriers, and an amphibious assault ship with more than 1,000 Marines aboard, to enforce the blockade.

US Central Command also said that there are ‘hundreds of military aircraft operating across the Middle East,’ in a social media post Tuesday.

The US military strikes that are hitting Iran just an hour ahead of the start of the naval blockade are aimed at limiting the country’s ability to strike merchant shipping, the military said.

According to a social media post by U.S. Central Command, the military is trying to ‘continue degrading Iranian capabilities used to attack commercial shipping.’

The blockade goes into effect at 4pm eastern time and, according to U.S. Central Command, the strikes began at 3pm.

Iranian state media, meanwhile, reported the sound of explosions in the southwestern city of Ahvaz and the southern port city of Bandar Abbas. The reports did not immediately provide further details.

It comes as nearly a dozen civilians have been killed, injured or are missing following Iranian attacks on seven commercial ships over the last week, the US military said Tuesday, as fighting escalated between the US and Iran.

Adm. Brad Cooper, who leads US Central Command, said in a statement that Iran also launched dozens of missiles and drones at neighboring Gulf countries.

‘US forces are holding Iran accountable for unwarranted aggression that continues to endanger innocent lives,’ Cooper said.

The US has reimposed its blockade of Iranian ports in response to Iran’s attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping corridor in the Middle East, as an interim ceasefire deal unravels and concerns grow about a return to all-out war.

The US had carried out another wave of strikes ahead of reimposing the blockade, the US military’s Central Command said.

The truce between the two nations collapsed last week when Iran struck three vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and the US retaliated with two rounds of strikes.

Trump pronounced the deal dead from the NATO summit in Ankara: ‘There’s something wrong with them. They’re cuckoo. As far as I’m concerned, it’s over.’

The Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf chokepoint carrying about a fifth of the world’s oil, has been a central flashpoint since the war began in February, sending markets spiraling with every escalation.

Brent crude vaulted above $86 a barrel after Tuesday’s strikes, piling onto Monday’s 8 percent leap as traders braced for a chokehold on the world’s most vital oil artery.

Over the last week, Iran has targeted various Middle Eastern countries that host US military bases, claiming responsibility for strikes in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.

Some of the targets attacked by US forces included missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, and communication networks.

Burke County Sheriff Alfonzo Williams Faces Six Federal Charges but Retains Position, Confirms County Manager

WAYNESBORO, Ga. () – Burke County is making headlines as Sheriff Alfonzo Williams faces six federal indictments, following accusations of public corruption and related crimes brought forth by a federal grand jury.

The legal troubles stem from allegations that Sheriff Williams accepted bribes to dismiss DUI charges for five individuals during a nine-month span from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, federal prosecutors claim he illegally supplied a firearm to a convicted felon in January 2023.

The federal indictment was briefly discussed during Tuesday’s Burke County Commission meeting, highlighting its significance within the community.

County Manager Merv Waldrop acknowledged prior concerns, noting that financial discrepancies had already been identified within the sheriff’s office, triggering worries about the proper allocation of county funds and necessitating further scrutiny.

“I’m accountable to the county commission, to Burke County residents, and to the state of Georgia for the responsible management of every dollar,” Waldrop stated. “Whenever issues are uncovered, they raise alarms, and it’s my duty to report those findings.”

Waldrop also explained that Williams remains sheriff unless action is taken by the governor.

He said that in situations involving a sheriff facing criminal charges, a review commission may be appointed to examine the case. Based on the commission’s findings and recommendations from the Georgia Attorney General, the governor can decide whether to suspend the sheriff from office while the case proceeds.

As of Tuesday night, Sheriff Williams had made a statement on his personal Facebook page but had not publicly responded to the allegations.

The investigation remains ongoing. At the moment, charges contained in the indictment are allegations, and Sheriff Alfonzo Williams is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

World Cup 2023: Psychic Forecasts Which Team May Falter Under Pressure

After a month of witnessing top-notch soccer talent vying for a place in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals, we now have the thrilling matchups of England confronting Argentina and France taking on Spain. The big question remains: which of these teams might falter when faced with the tournament’s high-pressure demands?

An experienced astrologer has analyzed each team’s blend of star signs, leadership dynamics, and how these elements relate to emotional susceptibility, indecisiveness, and pressure management. Here’s what the analysis reveals.

Renowned celebrity psychic astrologer Inbaal Honigman, who has been interpreting the Tarot since the 1990s, has made multiple media appearances over the past twenty years. Her insights have been featured in Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and on talkSPORT radio, among others.

Representing Casino.org, Honigman explained to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “There are two main reasons why some teams might crumble under pressure more than others. Primarily, it comes down to the zodiac signs of the players. Certain signs, like the intrepid Sagittarius or the driven Capricorn, tend to excel in high-pressure scenarios. These are signs that relish in the hustle and the accomplishment.

“Those pressure-loving signs enjoy setting their targets and then going for it, and nothing will stop them. The pressure-proof signs can take anything in their stride, and will show up to the match with the same attitude, no matter who they play and what the weather is. Other signs can take it or leave it when it comes to stress. The grounded sign of Taurus, for example, and the intense sign of Scorpio can feel the stress, but not act on it.”

Honigman continued, “Those kinds of signs are so committed to being their true selves. So although their emotions are strong and sincere, they’ll still respond to situations according to their everyday habits. They hold their personal truths to be self-evident, so they don’t huff and grumble when things get tense, and they still deliver a world-class performance.

“Naturally, they’d be incredible athletes, gifted and resilient, or they wouldn’t have been there in the first place, but their sensitive nature can let them down under pressure. If one star crumbles under the heat, then the whole team could potentially follow.”

The astrologer added, “The second reason that some squads would struggle under pressure is the changing positions of the planets. All the planets in the solar system move all the time, hurtling forwards in the infinite, each in their orbit. During the World Cup, the Sun is in Gemini, then it moves into Cancer and stays in the sign of the Crab for the rest of the tournament.

“Each planet moves at its own pace, going through each sign in turn. In the 2026 World Cup, something special happens between the group stage and the knockout stage … This will impact the signs of Virgo and Gemini, which are governed by Mercury. This phenomenon, called the Mercury retrograde, will also impact Cancerians because Mercury will be in Cancer throughout the knockout stage.”

Honigman concluded with a warning for the team that may struggle in the next match, ” Mercury retrograde, in astrology, is quite a stressful period, causing issues around teamwork, friendships, and communication. During the Mercury retrograde, social interaction struggles and old arguments can rise in the present. For those two reasons, the team with the most Cancerians will be the one most likely to buckle under the pressure. That team happens to be Spain.”
