19-year-old Jacoby Fuselier faces charges for alleged sexual assault and attempted drowning near White Oak Bayou

0

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man has been apprehended following an incident where a woman was assaulted while she was jogging near a bayou close to Houston, officials with the Harris County Constable Precinct 1, led by Alan Rosen, reported.

In a press briefing on Tuesday, Rosen disclosed that 19-year-old Jacoby Fuselier has been identified and arrested as the alleged perpetrator involved in the case.

According to Pct. 1, around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, the woman was walking along White Oak Bayou in the Inwood vicinity when she was brutally attacked. In a brave resistance, she confronted the assailant who not only sexually assaulted her but also tried to drown her.

Rosen explained that the victim managed to break free, make it to her vehicle, and signal for help from a nearby deputy.

Upon receiving the details, Precinct 1 authorities succeeded in locating Fuselier, who was already on their radar for reportedly whistling at another female while biking in the vicinity.

“He fled initially, but we were able to get him into custody,” Rosen said on Tuesday.

Rosen added that the 19-year-old is also being investigated by other law enforcement agencies and has been arrested by Pct. 1 before for theft of a firearm, which he was convicted of.

The constable urged everyone to be vigilant and pay attention to their surroundings while walking or biking on a trail.

Forecasters Alert as Texas Faces Torrential Rains and Potential Flood Risks

Torrential rainstorms swept through South Texas on Tuesday, flooding highways and leaving motorists stranded. Forecasters have issued warnings for additional severe weather, which could trigger dangerous floods in counties already soaked and situated near the Mexican border.

In some of Texas’s rural areas, storms unleashed up to a foot of rain, prompting numerous high-water rescues throughout the region. This deluge resulted in prolonged highway closures near Uvalde, located approximately 80 miles (129 kilometers) west of San Antonio. Meanwhile, Kerr County remained under a flood watch, a sobering reminder of last year’s devastating flooding along the Guadalupe River that claimed over 100 lives.

Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of casualties or injuries from Tuesday’s storms.

The National Weather Service cautioned that more storms could drop an extra foot of rain into Wednesday, posing potentially catastrophic flash flooding risks to areas west of San Antonio. In response, Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared a state of disaster across numerous counties.

“The intensity of the rainfall and the cumulative impact of successive storms will create a significant flash flooding threat through Thursday,” stated the National Weather Service.

Authorities on Tuesday posted videos of rescue crews on boats down flooded streets and one vehicle being swept downstream by fast-moving waters. Five people were rescued by members of the Texas Game Warden Search and Rescue Team and four were rescued by a local game warden, said Maggie Berger, a spokesperson for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

In Uvalde, officials said there had been at least two dozen water rescues. They opened a local event center for anyone displaced by flooding.

Young Woman Discovered Dead With Movie Cups After Date: Police Investigation Ensues

Tragedy struck when a 21-year-old woman from Arizona was discovered dead, her body concealed in a shallow desert grave alongside movie theater souvenir cups. This grim discovery followed her reported date with a man she had met through social media, who now faces accusations of her murder.

The accused, 24-year-old Domonic Rodolico, is charged with first-degree murder concerning the death of Arianna Jones. Her remains were found in a secluded desert locale close to Lake Pleasant in Maricopa County.

According to an arrest affidavit viewed by Law&Crime, Rodolico is alleged to have orchestrated what is being called a “well-planned” murder date. The day involved taking Jones to the movies followed by a drive into the desert, where police suspect he killed her. Authorities claim that Rodolico visited the desert site twice on July 5, the day of the alleged murder, to prepare.

The affidavit highlighted evidence of premeditation, citing various pieces of equipment found at the scene, including bags of concrete mix, pointing to a meticulously planned crime. “The amount of equipment located appeared as though this incident was well planned,” emphasized the affidavit.

According to police, Rodolico went to Jones’ apartment after visiting the dumping location a third time and picked her up for their movie date. The two of them “went and watched their movie” at a local Harkins theater and then exited, with surveillance footage showing them both carrying “white Harkins-style plastic souvenir cups,” the affidavit says.

“Before the movie, they bought two drinks and snacks at the concession stand,” according to police. Cellphone data reviewed by investigators shows that Rodolico and Jones “traveled north into a remote desert area” before Jones’ phone showed as “no longer being actively used by her,” police say.

“The devices remained in the deserted area for about 45-50 minutes,” according to the affidavit. “The victim’s device disconnected from the network, consistent with being powered off, placed in airplane mode, or otherwise disconnected from the network. About 10 minutes later, Domonic leaves the area where the victim’s cell phone was disconnected from.”

Jones’ family reported her missing on July 7 after they failed to get in touch with her. A review of her phone data showed conversations with Rodolico, which prompted police to conduct “mobile and stationary surveillance” on him, according to the affidavit.

“Domonic was observed on several occasions cleaning his vehicle,” the affidavit says. “Detectives observed Domonic drive his Nissan Sentra to a nearby car wash. He proceeded to vacuum the passenger-side rear area of the vehicle and then used towels to wipe down the same area. Domonic kept the towels inside the vehicle and returned home. Once there, he opened the trunk and was observed manipulating and wiping the interior as though he was cleaning it.”

Police went out to the area where Jones’ phone disconnected and found her “buried in a shallow grave,” according to the affidavit.

At the scene, investigators located “several key pieces of evidence,” including the two Harkins souvenir cups that Rodolico and Jones were seen carrying on video, concrete mix bags, Fry’s plastic water bottles, a bra, latex gloves, a hair accessory consistent with one that Jones wore on video the night they went to the movies, and pieces of a condom wrapper.

“One of the concrete-like bags had a red-like substance and an eyelash strip attached to it,” the affidavit says.

Police have not confirmed how Jones was killed. They interviewed Rodolico and he “provided a fabricated story” about what happened, according to the affidavit.

“He advised he took a girl who randomly added him on Snapchat named ‘Yanna’ to a movie at Harkins located in Norterra,” the affidavit explains. “After the movie, Domonic claimed they drove to an unknown location. … Domonic said they pulled over into a parking lot though was half asphalt and half dirt. The two got into the backseat of his vehicle and began making out. … While the two were kissing in the backseat … two unknown individuals approached the vehicle.”

Rodolico told police that two men “attacked them” and stabbed Jones to death, according to the affidavit. “F—ing die b—,” he recalled the men telling Jones, per the affidavit.

Rodolico allegedly went into great detail about the “extensive amount of blood in the back seat of his vehicle, inside his vehicle, and on the trunk of his car,” according to police. He stated that after getting free, he drove away while the two males were stabbing Jones.

“Domonic said if the victim was missing she probably wasn’t alive,” the affidavit says. Rodolico later admitted to lying to police and that his story “wasn’t true,” according to the affidavit.

“Domonic then said he was instructed to bring the victim to the desert at an unknown male’s order but he didn’t know he was going to kill her,” the affidavit alleges. “Domonic was unable to provide how any communication occurred between him and this unknown male. Domonic also admitted to going to the same desert location prior to picking up the victim.”

Asked if he killed her, Rodolico “hesitated while looking down and said no,” according to police. He allegedly struggled to maintain consistent eye contact, remained silent when trying to think of responses and refused to answer “confronting questions,” the affidavit says.

“Domonic did not appear to show any remorse for his actions and believed this was just a missing person case where he happened to be the last person to see the victim alive,” the document concludes.

Rodolico was being held Monday on a $2 million bond.

Revitalize Your Knees After 60: 4 Simple Bed Exercises for Smoother Skin Than Gym Machines

0

Are crepey knees giving you trouble? Discover how four simple exercises you can perform in bed can help, especially after the age of 60.

>

Although crepey knees are often noticed in the mirror, addressing the issue starts from within. Enhancing the shape of your thighs, ensuring the knee joint feels supported, and incorporating regular lower body strength exercises can all contribute to improved appearance. While exercise won’t magically transform your skin’s texture overnight, it can certainly enhance the muscle tone beneath it.

The knee serves as a complex junction. It relies on muscles from the thigh, hip, and lower leg, all of which affect its appearance, sensation, and function. When these muscles weaken, the area can appear less firm and supportive. However, specific bed exercises targeting the quads, hamstrings, and hips can effectively strengthen them without the need for gym equipment.

In working with clients, I pay particular attention to their ability to create muscle tension without tensing their entire body. Effective knee exercises for those over 60 should be controlled rather than intense. A firm mattress offers a supportive surface for practicing slow repetitions, focused muscle contractions, and precise positioning before progressing to more challenging standing exercises.

This exercise routine is designed to keep movements straightforward and targeted. Aim to practice it two to four times weekly. Move deliberately, emphasizing the engagement of the muscles around your knees and thighs.

Kelly Bensimon Survives Dangerous Uber Accident: A Miraculous Escape

0

Kelly Bensimon recently experienced a terrifying encounter with reality.

The “Golden Life” star from E! and well-known chef Andrew Molen found themselves injured on Monday afternoon following a severe head-on collision in Sarasota, Florida.

Sources reveal that the duo was in an Uber that turned left onto the busy Tamiami Trail, only to be hit by an oncoming vehicle. The impact was strong enough to deploy the airbags.

The accident resulted in Bensimon, Molen, and the driver of the other car being transported to the hospital.

Reflecting on the incident, Bensimon expressed her gratitude, stating, “I’m lucky to have walked away alive.”

“My right arm is a mess,” the real estate agent tells us. “My head went straight into the back of the seat. It was really bad. I was unconscious for a couple seconds. I was freaking out. I thought I broke my arm.”

The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star says doctors performed X-rays on her arm and a CAT scan at the hospital.

When we spoke Tuesday, she was still reeling.

“I am totally out of it, I am in so much pain,” she said. “My head went back and banged [Andrew] on his chin. There were makeup marks on the airbag.”

Molen— a classically trained chef who swapped restaurant life to be a private chef for the ultra wealthy — saw the car coming and yelled “brake, brake,” the pair recalled.

“[The other car] came straight on,” Molen claimed. “You didn’t hear brakes screech. He came straight in at full blast. We got hit so hard. Kelly went flying. I hit the ceiling. Airbags went off. There was dust everywhere.”

Molen continued, “Kelly was out cold. She kept falling back,” he said, “The car spun.”

Molen tells us he hurt his neck and will be going back to the doctor. He has already canceled five events this week.

“I am in a lot of pain,” he said. “They had to help us into ambulances.”

We’re told the driver of the other car was taken into an ambulance in a stretcher.

Both cars were Buicks.

Bensimon was in town for an open house for her $22 million listing at 3315 Bay Shore Road. Molen was serving up food and doing kitchen demonstrations for the event.

The pair were also filming an episode for a digital lifestyle series they are developing called “The Chef and the Housewife,” which “goes beyond showcasing extraordinary properties by bringing ultra-high-net-worth living to life through food, entertaining, design, and the experiences that define exceptional homes,” according to a release.

Sarasota Police tell Page Six that the crash report is still in progress. Uber did not respond to a request for comment.

Unraveling the Enigma: Mom Disappears After Missing Camp Pickup

0

The search intensifies as it moves into its second week for a missing mother-of-two from California, who vanished shortly after leaving her car near a favored hiking trail.

Angelica Brophy, a 44-year-old emergency room nurse residing in Oceanside, was last seen on July 6 after dropping off her daughter at a local camp. She did not return to pick her up later that day.

Surveillance footage captured Brophy departing from Harrah’s Resort Southern California Casino around 3:30 p.m. A subsequent parking ticket placed her at Palomar Mountain Skate Park approximately 50 minutes later.

Her family has not heard from her since she failed to collect her daughter. Her vehicle was found parked at the skate park several days after her disappearance.

Family members mentioned that Brophy was known to hike regularly in the area around the park. When she didn’t come home, her husband reached out to her brother and then contacted the police.

As a frantic search ensued, detectives attempted to ping Brophy’s cellphone, but it had either been turned off or ran out of battery.

Search and rescue teams have been scouting across over 1,800 acres in Palomar Mountain State Park ever since Brophy disappeared. With no trace of the beloved mother, efforts have focused on a pond in the park.

‘She loves life and we really just need her back,’ her sister-in-law Lisa Fabregas told NBC San Diego. ‘She is one of the most wonderful, thoughtful women that I know. She’s a very good mom. She will do anything for her children.’

‘She is funny and kooky, and will sing at the top of her lungs and will not have one note in tune, but she does not care,’ she added.

Manny Fabregas, one of Brophy’s five older brothers, said the family is desperately waiting on any information about her whereabouts.

‘We’re all in a state of limbo right now and it’s hard to move on without any leads,’ he told NBC News.

Another brother, Martin Fabregas, said he is trying hard not to let his mind wander into ‘dark places.’

‘It’s a wait-and-see. We’re trying to encourage everybody to stay positive, stay strong,’ he told the outlet.

The family have been plastering North County with missing person posters for Brophy in the hopes somebody has seen her.

She was last seen wearing black leggings and a gray t-shirt, according to the poster.

Chiefland Woman Receives 10-Year Sentence for Involvement with Minor in Alachua

0

Staff report

ALACHUA, Fla. – In a significant legal conclusion, Chiarel Ruby Davis, a 39-year-old resident of Chiefland, has been sentenced to a decade behind bars, subsequently followed by five years under sexual offender probation. This outcome follows her plea of nolo contendere to charges of engaging in unlawful activities with a teenage victim aged 16 or 17.

The Alachua Police Department initiated their investigation back in May 2025 upon receiving a report from a concerned parent. Davis was accused of not only engaging in illicit sexual activities with the minor but also of distributing marijuana to the teenager. Furthermore, she reportedly sent explicit communications, both messages and images, and orchestrated unsupervised meetings with the minor, which took place without any parental approval. Specifics of the arrest remain undisclosed, as the report was sealed.

In connection with the case, Nicholas Jabari Scott also faced arrest. He was charged with distributing explicit images to a victim and for maintaining inappropriate communications with the juvenile, actions that are in direct violation of Florida’s legal statutes. Scott is currently housed in Alachua County Jail, awaiting further legal proceedings.

After entering a plea of no contest on May 19, 2026, Davis faced a potential maximum sentence of 15 years in state prison for unlawful sexual activity with a minor. However, several other charges against her were eventually dismissed. At the sentencing hearing on July 13, Judge Susanne Wilson Bullard rendered a judgment of 10 years in prison, inclusive of credit for four days already served, with an additional five-year period of probation as a registered sexual offender to follow.

Mexican Government Battles ICE Deportations with Legal Action

0

According to a report by Reuters, the Mexican government is enlisting legal experts to obstruct the repatriation of Mexican migrants by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The news agency detailed:

Mexico has initiated the filing of criminal complaints in U.S. state courts concerning the deaths of its citizens while in U.S. immigration custody and during enforcement actions, revealed the foreign ministry on Tuesday.

In addition to this legal action, the Mexican government has issued cease-and-desist orders to U.S. detention facilities where Mexican nationals have deceased, the ministry confirmed in a formal statement.

“I don’t believe this situation is acceptable to anyone,” stated Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on Monday. She emphasized that this is a concern for all of Mexico, framing the legal actions as a patriotic duty for the country.

Mexico’s government is also asking the United Nations to investigate U.S. deportation operations following the recent deaths of 17 Mexicans during the deportation process.

Mexico’s intervention in the U.S. immigration system comes after decades in which the huge population of Mexicans in the United States has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans via drug trafficking, drunk driving, murder, and other crimes. In January, for example, Mexican national Kenneth Moreno Guzman was arrested by police in Georgia for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl.

In 2025, roughly 70,000 Americans were killed by drug overdoses, mostly due to drugs smuggled from Mexico. Many others were crippled by the drugs, often while being ignored by local governments that are eager to welcome illegal migrants.

Roughly 37 million Hispanics of Mexican origin lived in the United States in 2021, according to a 2023 study by Pew Research Center. That vast population was quietly welcomed by the U.S. establishment because it spikes consumer sales, pushes up real estate prices, and forces down Americans’ wages.

The movement of Mexicans into the United States is also extremely profitable to Mexico. The migration northwards reduces pressure on the government to create jobs and fund welfare programs, and it also causes a huge flow of remittances back into Mexico. In 2025, the Mexican economy was boosted by $62 billion in remittances from the United States.

Yet the Mexican government is justifying the intervention following the death of 17 Mexican illegal migrants in U.S custody, according to Reuters.

The Mexican escalation comes after President Donald Trump stopped illegal migration and reduced drug inflows, pressured Mexico to suppress its drug cartels, and stopped plans to extend the U.S.-Canada free trade policy.
