A truck loaded with 40,000 pounds of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer disappeared in California, with police saying the missing shipment may be tied to a bold cargo-theft scheme that allegedly swiped about $70,000 worth of alcohol in one morning.

Pabst Blue Ribbon confirmed that both its truck and beer shipment had been stolen, sending a pointed message to whoever was behind it: the company understood the urge to boast about possessing that much PBR, but said it wished they had obtained it “the honorable way.”

The brewer then set a deadline for the alleged thief, giving them exactly 18 days and 44 minutes to bring the truck back with no questions asked.

Pabst also announced that a reward would be available for anyone who helps solve the case, although it did not reveal the amount or explain the reason behind the unusually specific deadline.

The brand later issued a second post to squash doubts that the bizarre disappearance was a marketing stunt.

“To clear up the confusion, this story is real,” Pabst wrote, urging anyone with information that could help solve the case to send a direct message.

As the deadline ticked down, the company warned that the “beer is getting warmer” while the trail gets colder. 

It asked anyone who thinks they spotted the truck to snap a photo, tag Pabst or send a direct message with information about its whereabouts.

Montclair police are investigating two cargo thefts reported Aug. 17 at an Anheuser-Busch distribution center that investigators believe could be linked.

In the first incident, a shipment worth about $45,000 and bound for Tucson, Arizona, was picked up for delivery around 10 a.m. local time but never arrived, police said.

About an hour later, police said a company claiming to be a subcontractor used fraudulent paperwork to arrange the pickup of roughly $25,000 in Anheuser-Busch and Pabst Blue Ribbon products.

Investigators said the trucking-company information, driver and vehicles connected to the pickups contained discrepancies. 

The cases may be part of the same fraudulent cargo-theft operation, police said.

No one has been publicly identified in connection with the case, and police have released few details about how the truck and its beer disappeared or where the load may have gone.

Investigators also have not announced any public leads, leaving open the question of whether the shipment remains intact or has already been broken up and distributed.

The beer brand’s comments section quickly became a keg-sized comedy club. One commenter cracked that the haul “would’ve only been 20,000lbs if it was Pabst Light,” while another asked whether the reward was all the beer in the truck.

Kit Kat’s verified account joined in, writing, “I know a thing or two about these kinds of things,” seemingly referencing a March 26 incident where a truck carrying 12 tons of limited-edition Formula 1 car-shaped KitKat chocolate bars was stolen in Italy.

Another commenter offered the most likely destination for 40,000 pounds of missing beer — “Somebody’s about to have a huge house party.”

Anyone with information about the thefts, vehicles, driver, delivery company or missing cargo is asked to contact the Montclair Police Department at 909-621-4771.

News Media reached out to Pabst Blue Ribbon and the Montclair Police Department for comment.

Tim McGraw is choosing to laugh at himself after a stumble onstage gave fans an unexpected moment during his latest concert.

The 59-year-old country music star was performing in Ohio on Thursday night when he took a fall during his show at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center.

The slip happened in the middle of McGraw’s 1995 fan-favorite hit, I Like It, I Love It, as part of his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.

Rather than let the mishap derail the night, McGraw quickly turned it into a joke, reportedly laughing with the audience and quipping, ‘There’s a hole there,’ according to The Bobby Bones Show.

On Friday, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share a closeup video clip of the fall with his nearly four million followers. 

He later kept the humor going online, writing in his caption, ‘Cincinnati, you started our weekend off on the right foot, even if I couldn’t stay on mine. We appreciate you coming out and singing along! Detroit, you’re up!’

The legendary music artist went on to perform at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI on Friday night.

On Saturday, the show will continue at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids before picking up on September 5 in Snowmass, Co. 

According to Bobby Bones, Thursday’s show began 40 minutes behind schedule due to inclement weather and travel issues.

Earlier this week, McGraw used social media to pay tribute to Dolly Parton in the wake of her death on Tuesday at age 80.

He shared a black and white image of the Tennessee native in her younger years and wrote, ‘She was an icon and showed us all what was possible, not only as a human but as an entertainer. 

‘She was the blueprint, head and shoulders above anyone that came before her and all those of us that have come after.’

The heartfelt note continued: ‘Everything she did, she did it with kindness, grace and that famous wit and smile. It’s been hard to not be in tears all day. There will never be another Dolly Parton.’

McGraw has been married to fellow country singer Faith Hill, 58, since 1996. 

They share daughters Gracie, 29, Maggie, 28, and Audrey, 24.

Earlier this month, Gracie revealed that using Ozempic ‘brought back’ her eating disorder.

The nepo baby took to her Instagram Stories to candidly speak about her experience taking the GLP-1 in 2022, and how she caved into ‘skinny culture.’

Milo Yiannopoulos, the controversial former Breitbart editor and British right-wing commentator, has been deported to the United Kingdom after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested him at a Louisiana airport. The Department of Homeland Security said Yiannopoulos had overstayed his authorization to remain in the United States and failed to appear for an immigration hearing.

According to a new DHS statement, ICE removed Yiannopoulos from the country on Friday, just one day after agents took him into custody at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, Louisiana.

Following his arrest, Yiannopoulos was held at an ICE facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, a key processing center for the agency’s deportation operations, before being deported.

DHS said Yiannopoulos legally entered the United States through New York City on May 14, 2019, but remained after his authorized stay expired. 

An immigration judge issued him a final order of removal on July 22 after he failed to appear for his immigration hearing, according to the agency.

“Yiannopoulos legally entered the country on May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws,” DHS said.

The agency used Yiannopoulos’ removal to issue a broader warning to illegal immigrants and tout the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies.

DHS said it reversed a Biden administration policy that it claimed allowed illegal immigrants to fly around the country, adding that the department will no longer permit such travel unless it is tied to a departure from the United States.

“Under President Trump, DHS will no longer tolerate this,” the agency said. “This administration is working diligently to ensure that aliens in our country illegally can no longer fly unless it is out of our country to self deport.”

DHS urged illegal immigrants to use the CBP Home app to arrange their own departures, saying the federal government is offering $3,000 and a free flight to those who leave voluntarily.

“Being in detention is a choice,” DHS said, adding that people who use the app may preserve a chance to return to the United States legally in the future.

Those who do not leave voluntarily, the agency warned, will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.

Yiannopoulos rose to national prominence as a provocative political commentator and former editor at Breitbart News. He drew national attention for his provocative speeches and online commentary, including appearances that sparked protests at UC Berkeley.

Less than two weeks after Natasha Cloud’s career-best outing left the Liberty humbled, New York answered back Saturday afternoon with an 85-66 win over the Chicago Sky.

The victory allows the Liberty, at least for the most part, to enter the FIBA World Cup break on a positive note.

Han Xu powered the effort off the bench with a season-high 19 points, while four other Liberty players reached double figures. Rebekah Gardner was among them, giving New York an important spark at Barclays Center with 11 points and four rebounds.

Still, Sabrina Ionescu will likely want to move past her Saturday performance quickly.

The Liberty guard endured an unusually rough shooting day, missing all 10 of her attempts from the field, including seven from inside the arc. Her only scoring came at the free-throw line, where she finished with two points.

She also contributed five rebounds and four assists.

It’s the latest in what’s been a worrisome shooting stretch for Ionescu, who’s gone 8-for-53 from deep over the past eight games. Before the game, coach Chris DeMarco said his confidence in Ionescu remains high.

“There’s more to basketball than just scoring,” he said. “That’s why she’s been such a great player forever. It’s her ability to pass the ball, her ability to rebound. There’s more ways to impact the game. … The shot will come, no doubt about it. She’s a great shooter.”

But Ionescu hasn’t looked like herself all season, for that matter. She started the season with an injured left foot after she rolled her ankle in the team’s final preseason game.

Then she came back for a game before missing time with back soreness.

It took a few games for her to find her flow. She had a solid July and start to August, but has struggled as of late. It’s worth noting she missed the Liberty’s Aug. 15 game at Connecticut with a left foot injury.

Ionescu is averaging 15.6 points on 12.8 field goal attempts per game, her lowest marks since 2021. Her four rebounds per game are a career low.

Ionescu won’t be playing in the World Cup next month after she was left off the United States’ roster. She said she hopes to use this time to continue to get healthy and have fresh legs for the WNBA playoffs.

Lil Nas X has shared that his mother, Tameka Hill, has died, revealing the heartbreaking loss as he continues to focus on his own treatment and recovery.

The rapper and pop artist, 27, who shared that he had spent time in rehab earlier this month, took to Instagram on Saturday to pay tribute to his mother.

‘RIP TO THE BADDEST EVER! LOVE U FOREVER MOMMY,’ the two-time Grammy winner wrote in an emotional tribute. ‘This one’s gonna hurt.’

The rapper included three photos with his message: a throwback image of Hill striking a pose in a bold two-piece outfit while holding a bottle, a snapshot of mother and son wearing sunglasses together, and a childhood picture showing Lil Nas X alongside his mom and one of his several siblings.

No cause of death was immediately disclosed, though Lil Nas X has spoken publicly in the past about his mother’s struggles with addiction.

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Lil Nas X for comment.

Lil Nas X had a strained relationship with his mother, mainly due to her long-term problems with substance addiction. He shared in past interviews that he had tried to get to her rehab with no success.

‘I never really talk about my mom. She’s an addict, so we don’t have the closest relationship,’ Lil Nas X told Variety in January 2020. ‘Even trying to get her better – things didn’t quite work out. But there’s still love.’

The news comes just days after the That’s What I Want chart-topper shared a video update on social media confirming he had spent a few months in rehab.

‘I’ve been in rehab for a few months,’ he said in a video posted to his social media. ‘And since then I’ve been back at home – whether it’s in Atlanta with my family or in Los Angeles with myself and friends and whatnot – and trying to ground myself down to earth and get out of my head.’

Back in August 2025, Lil Nas X – whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill – was arrested after a public mental health crisis in Los Angeles, which led to his inpatient rehab stay, a bipolar disorder diagnosis and a court-supervised treatment plan.

Lil Gas X added: ‘I have a therapist now and a psychiatrist, which has been really helpful. When I got my bipolar disorder diagnosis, I feel like I had known for the past few years, but I didn’t wanna admit to it, ’cause I didn’t wanna have to take medication and have people think different of me.

‘I’m already black and gay. Like, damn, God, gimme like…come on, black, gay, bipolar? I’m living life on extreme hard mode,’ he said with a laugh.

But he assured fans he was ‘doing much better’ and ‘smelling the roses.’

He revealed at the time that he was working on ‘new music’ while thanking his fanbase – the ‘Montourage’ – for their loyalty.

At another point in the video, he joked that he didn’t really know what to post because of how his fans would react, despite their ongoing support.

‘Ever since I got out of rehab, everyone’s like “OD” nice to me,’ he shared. ‘I could be like “hey” and everyone’s like “oh he’s so brave”. I can try to post a thirst trap on my Instagram story and everyone’s going to be like “keep fighting king”.

He also shared a video of himself holding a cake that said: ‘10,000th day.’

‘Tomorrow is my 10,000th day alive and I made it. A lot of you won’t make it, but I made it.’

The rapper’s August 2025 arrest happened after he was found wandering down Los Angeles’ Ventura Boulevard clad in nothing but his underpants and a pair of cowboy boots.

According to prosecutors, his encounter with police turned chaotic, with Lil Nas X accused of using ‘force and violence [to] inflict an injury’ on three police officers during the incident.

The incident took a darker turn when he was rushed to the hospital due to fears he may have overdosed.

The rapper, meanwhile, denied the claims and pleaded not guilty to the charges, including battery on an officer and resisting arrest.

In March, Lil Nas X was pictured arriving to court smiling and looking healthier in a three-piece gray suit.

Judge Alan Schneider took mercy on him, ruling in April that the Old Town Road hitmaker could undergo treatment rather than spending time behind bars.

The judge told the court the August 2025 drama was ‘aberrant from his normal conduct,’ linking it to the rapper’s bipolar disorder diagnosis.

Fresh reports in the British press this week allege that radical Muslim prisoners have pressured fellow inmates, many of them white British men, to convert to Islam inside some U.K. prisons.

Concerns about the influence of Muslim prison gangs are not new. Sky News reported in 2013 that some British inmates were being intimidated into conversion behind bars, citing the Prison Officers Association’s warning that the issue reflected the growing power of organized Muslim groups within the prison system.

This week Nick Timothy, the shadow justice secretary of the opposition Conservative party, has urged the left-of-center Labour Government to root out forced conversions. Timothy posted on X on Tuesday that,” Islamist gangs control many of our prisons. Conversion to Islam is the only way to stay safe from them. I obtained data showing 1 in 5 Muslim prisoners are white. That’s four times higher than in the general population. This cannot continue.”

Speaking to the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph, Timothy said experts have repeatedly raised alarms about forced religious conversions in prisons allegedly linked to Islamic gangs. “We need to be honest that something is not right here,” he said, urging the Labour government to investigate the claims urgently and put an end to coercive conversions behind bars.

A press release from the U.K. Ministry of Justice stated that, “Most prisons show no evidence of gang-based extremism,” while noting “We have also banned terrorist prisoners from holding positions of authority in corporate worship, e.g. leading the call to prayer, and clamped down on material found in prisons that could be used to spread harmful ideologies of justice.”

According to Nile Gardiner, Director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at the Heritage Foundation, this growing trend is having a detrimental effect on the country’s prison system. “It is an absolutely outrageous state of affairs in the British prison system. This also poses a very significant national security risk for the United Kingdom. The British government appears to have lost control over its prisons, which have become jihadist training camps,” Gardiner, who advised Lady Thatcher, told News Media.

He added that “urgent actions needs to be taken” in response to “the level of forced Islamization in British jails.”

The number of incarcerated Muslims has its origins in a defective British immigration policy, said Gardiner. According to The Telegraph, “the number of Muslim prisoners in jails in England and Wales has also increased and accounts for nearly one in five (18%) of the prison population, despite making up 6.5% of the general population.”

Gardiner told News Media that “It is very clear that large-scale Islamic migration into the United Kingdom is having a direct impact on crime and public safety in the United Kingdom. And the growing Islamization of Britain carries with it immense risks for British national security and crime. The inflow of Islamic migrants is a real threat to Britain’s future.”

Jonathan Hall, the British government’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, wrote in his 2022 report titled “Terrorism in Prisons” that he secured evidence that Islamist terrorists are behaving and acting as “self-styled emirs.”

He added that the terrorists are “exerting a controlling and radicalising influence on the wider Muslim prison population (including through enforcers, whilst keeping their hands clean); recruitment (in particular of vulnerable or lonely prisoners, using guidance, sharing of food or material gifts), and conversion backed by implicit or actual violence; soliciting or accepting menial tasks (such as cell-cleaning) from lower status prisoners.” 

A spokesperson from the ministry told News Media that, “We do not tolerate intimidation, gang activity or faith-based coercion of any kind in our prisons.” The spokesperson added, “Prisons and staff act swiftly to clamp down on all threatening behavior from any groups or individuals.”

According to the Justice spokesperson, “Forced religious conversions are not tolerated across the prison estate. In response to the report from the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, Jonathan Hall, HMPPS [His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service] carried out a review into the influence of faith-based gangs. Following the review, HMPPS has improved the ability to identify nascent extremist gang activity and disrupt it before it takes hold via advanced training and data collection.”

An independent review by Colin Bloom, a British government advisor, looking at how the government engages with faith, in part stated, that “Failure to identify as a Muslim meant that at best the new prisoner would be denied ‘protection’ from the dominant Muslim gang on that wing, or at worst the new prisoner would be subjected to violence and intimidation from that same gang. “

According to a News Media review of the 2023 Bloom report, the 159-page study noted that “The 2019 Ministry of Justice report on separating extremist prisoners noted the growing problem of religious extremism across the prison estate, including the “aggressive encouragement of conversions to Islam.”

Bloom had previously told GB News that there are some very good (Muslim) chaplains and excellent practices in prison, but “there is also, I think fair to say, that a number of prisons there are very large and aggressive Islamist gangs… where evidence was given to me and my review where Koran’s were put on the bed of incoming inmates with the very clear indication convert or get hurt, and it was a way of coercing people to say, you know if you want to be protected in prison then you have to convert and become part of our gang.”

Bloom noted that “prisons are actually a much more religious place than the rest of society. More people have a faith if they’re in prison than not. But even by the standards of the most amazing, you know revivals religious conversions, there is something going on in prisons because we are seeing the most incredible number of people converting, particularly to Islam, in a way that is defies logic. And I think one of the things that we need to ensure that prison chaplains and prison management have is that inquiring mind to say just what the heck is going on here. This doesn’t seem right.”

A report said Dolly Parton’s relatives gathered Friday morning at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Nashville, the site described as her intended burial place.

Among the small group of mourners was Parton’s nephew and longtime head of security, Bryan Seaver, who the report said announced Tuesday that the country music icon had died at 80.

Seaver reportedly shared that Parton would be buried wearing high heels and laid to rest in the same mausoleum where her husband of more than 50 years, Carl Dean, is interred.

People described as family insiders said a private memorial service for close relatives and friends was expected to take place in Nashville in the days that followed.

It remained unclear whether Parton was actually interred during Friday’s gathering, where attendees were seen arriving in colorful clothing instead of traditional black funeral attire.

An insider said Seaver seemed ‘in charge’ of the proceedings, during which he was seen greeting other arrivals and working with local police, via Page Six.

According to the source, the premises was ‘crawling with cops’ in advance of the gathering and one officer could be heard saying: ‘The family is en route.’

Children were included in the event, where some of the men arrived wearing cowboy hats and boots and a few of the women held bouquets.

Parton’s nearest and dearest were seen embracing each other outdoors as they met up with one another before filing into the building. 

As news spread of Parton’s passing Tuesday, it emerged that she had been secretly battling cancer, although the specific strain was left undisclosed. 

Seaver shared Wednesday that Parton will be interred in a comfortable cotton dress, as well as a pair of the high heels that became part of her trademark look.

In his Instagram video announcing her death, Seaver relayed Parton’s wish ‘to rest in a beautiful bed of plush cotton because after a life of wearing heavy rhinestones, she finally deserves to be comfortable and have some rest.’ 

He hailed his aunt for having ‘lived in the light’ and said she was now ‘in the arms of Jesus’ and the company of her late husband Carl Dean, as well as her parents and ‘countless others who have watched her and longed to meet her in the heavens.’ 

Dean died aged 82 of causes that have remained private in March 2025, two months before what would have been his and Parton’s 59th wedding anniversary. 

Parton, often referred to as the Queen of Country, enjoyed an illustrious music career spanning six decades and was arguably best known for her hits Jolene and 9 to 5. 

The fourth of 12 children, six of whom are now still living, Parton was born in Pittman Center, Tennessee, on January 19, 1946.

Her passing came after months of health woes that saw her pull out of a string of public appearances, fueling fan fears for her wellbeing. 

In an interview published just four days before her death, Parton had declared she still had ‘so many things I want to achieve’ and vowed to continue ‘working as long as I can to see everything come to life,’ via People.

She explained that she had been grappling with ‘some health issues that I just didn’t pay attention to when I was watching over Carl.’

Parton once told NPR that her 1973 classic Jolene was partly inspired by a local bank teller who developed a flirtatious equation with Dean.

‘She got this terrible crush on my husband,’ she said at the time. ‘And he just loved going to the bank because she paid him so much attention. 

‘It was kinda like a running joke between us — when I was saying: “Hell, you’re spending a lot of time at the bank. I don’t believe we’ve got that kind of money.”‘

Years later, onstage at Glastonbury, she said of the song: ‘I wrote that years ago when my husband… was spending a little more time with Jolene than I thought he should be. I put a stop to that. I got rid of that redhead woman in a hurry.’

Parton and Dean first met at a Nashville laundromat in 1964, when she was 18 and he was 21, and they exchanged vows in May 1966.

‘I’d never been in a laundromat before,’ she recalled in the 2023 documentary Dolly Parton: In Her Own Words. ‘I walked outside there was this good-looking man that drove by the Wishy Washy Laundromat. And he pulled over to the side. So, we started talking and we married two years later.’

Through her decades of high-octane superstardom, Dean remained a constant and supportive figure for Parton behind the scenes.

Parton offered her public a rare glimpse inside her marriage in 2024, revealing the reason her husband refused to attend events with her.

She remarked that her husband was ‘not the least bit interested in being in’ her songs despite loving her work, on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast.

A telling moment occurred early in their marriage when she persuaded Dean to attend an awards show in 1967 where she won song of the year.

The outing made such an impression on her ‘homebody’ husband that he promptly informed Parton: ‘I wish you the best, but don’t ever ask me to go to another one of these damn things because I ain’t going.’ 

The couple, who renewed their vows in 2016 at their Nashville home, used humor to dissipate any potential for conflict in their decades-long relationship.

Parton raved that her husband was ‘hilarious,’ elaborating: ‘He’s quiet and I’m loud, and we’re funny…we have a lot of fun. Anytime [there is] too much tension going on, either one of us can like, find a joke about it to really break the tension, where we don’t let it go so far. We never fought back and forth.’

When he died last year, she penned a heartfelt encomium to their ‘many wonderful years together,’ adding: ‘Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.’
