New Residency Program Launched by Medical College of Georgia and St. Joseph’s/Candler to Address Doctor Shortage

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Medical College of Georgia has teamed up with St. Joseph’s/Candler to tackle the pressing issue of physician shortages in Georgia. Their solution: a groundbreaking residency program in Savannah aimed at training and retaining doctors within the Coastal Empire.

This innovative residency program, the first of its kind in the area, offers medical school graduates a local opportunity to complete their residency training. By providing this option, officials hope to significantly boost the likelihood that these newly trained physicians will choose to stay in the region over the long haul.

Spanning three years, the program reflects a strategic approach based on research indicating that physicians often settle in the communities where they complete their residencies. Leaders are optimistic that this initiative will strengthen Georgia’s medical workforce.

The need for such a program is underscored by Georgia’s current standing as 41st in the nation for the availability of primary care physicians, according to program officials.

“There’s about a 70% chance that when a medical student completes both their education and residency in the same city, they will remain there,” explained Elizabeth Gray, dean of the Medical College of Georgia Armstrong Campus. “We are thrilled to train our students here to understand our specific health needs and to encourage them to continue their practice locally for the long term.”

Gray said the collaboration is expected to bring more doctors to the state while also improving patient outcomes.

“We know that having graduate medical education in a health system increases the quality of care,” Gray said. “Just having a resident or a medical student on your team makes you less likely to have medical errors when you enter the hospital.”

The program is currently accepting applications and will begin its interview process this fall.

Residents will learn where they are matched on St. Patrick’s Day, and St. Joseph’s/Candler expects to welcome its first class of 20 residents in summer 2027.

District Attorney Reveals Shocking Case: Man Allegedly Stalked and Threatened School Following Wife’s Suicide

Left inset: Alex Reichert (St. Charles County Sheriff’s Office). Right inset: Skye Reichert (Hutchens Funeral Homes). Background: The Missouri high school that Alex Reichert allegedly targeted in a series of threats related to the death of his wife Skye Reichert (KSDK/YouTube).

A Missouri man is facing serious charges after allegedly parking his deceased wife’s car at her former workplace, a school, on at least 15 occasions, while issuing threats and holding its staff accountable for her tragic suicide, according to prosecutors.

Alex Reichert, aged 36, is accused of making multiple threatening online posts targeting St. Charles High School, located in St. Charles, approximately 25 miles from St. Louis. His wife, Skye Reichert, was a teacher at the school.

Reichert’s threats were focused on a female employee at the school, whom court documents describe as “involved with Alex and his wife,” referring to her as his “paramour.” It is alleged that after the relationship ended, Reichert held her and St. Charles High School responsible for Skye’s suicide, which occurred in March.

Authorities report that Reichert engaged in stalking and threatening behavior towards the school, the targeted staff member, and students who were preparing to graduate earlier this month. As a result, he faces charges of making a terrorist threat and stalking.

In a bond request filed on May 14, prosecutors stated, “The suspect has lost his job, his wife, and his paramour. His behavior and social media posts suggest he has nothing left to lose and may direct his anger and frustration towards innocent civilians.”

Proseuctors accuse Reichert of engaging “in a pattern of harassment and stalking affecting not only [the staffer], but the entire community,” accoridng to the court filing. He allegedly “possesses guns and implied that he will use them” at the aforementioned graduation ceremony.

“The suspect presents a danger to [the staffer] as well as the attendees of the ceremony and community, prosecutors said. “The suspect has already been served with an order of protection and continues on his campaign of harassment and stalking. The victim has pursued all legal remedies for self-protection and yet, does not feel safe going to work because the suspect’s behavior escalates.”

Students and police officials told local NBC affiliate KSDK that Reichert was seen “circling the school” in his wife’s car before parking it “outside and in close proximity” to the St. Charles campus and local district offices.

“He even placed a bumper sticker on that vehicle … that read, ‘I’m unpredictable,’” St. Charles Police Lt. Daniel Gibbons told KSDK.

“It’s been very scary,” a high school senior said. “It makes students uncomfortable.”

Gibbons and prosecutors allege that Reichert made “a lot of different comments” online referencing countdowns. “All of those countdowns all ended on this Sunday, which is the graduation for St. Charles School District,” Gibbons said.

A criminal complaint describes how Reichert “communicated an implied threat to cause an incident or condition involving danger to life … by making social media posts with a countdown to an incident that will occur at an upcoming ceremony implying the use of guns and a fight.”

One of the social media posts Reichert allegedly made about his wife’s death said:

For the teachers she worked with that immediately erased her and all the work she did: you can continue to teach, but students will always be reminded of your role as people who treat others this way; as people that selfishly erase people and don’t show any support to people around them. They deserve better teachers who don’t continue to gossip and spread rumors, particularly when based on exaggerations and harmful lies, without actual evidence of wrong doing. But there’s plenty of examples that can be shared in time to help show the difference.

Court records show that Reichert and his wife, Skye, had previously filed a defamation lawsuit against an anonymous staffer in March before Skye’s death. The staffer allegedly sent emails to Reichert’s employer that claimed Reichert had posted photos on social media where he was providing alcohol to children and engaging in inappropriate behavior with them, including accusations of sexual abuse, according to KSDK.

It has not been confirmed whether the staffer who was sued is the same person that was being threatened by Reichert. Gibbons told KSDK that the person being threatened “was involved with Alex and his wife.”

Reichert was ordered held without bond and is due to appear in court next week.

Scott Hastings, 61, Passes Away on Late Wife’s Birthday: Remembering the Iconic Scotland and British & Irish Lions Rugby Legend

Rugby icon Scott Hastings has passed away following a courageous four-year battle with cancer, poignantly on the birthday of his late wife, Jenny.

At 61, Hastings leaves behind a storied legacy, having been a key player in Scotland’s celebrated 1990 Grand Slam-winning team, where he played alongside his older brother, Gavin.

Tragedy struck the Hastings family when Jenny disappeared while swimming at Wardie Bay in Edinburgh in 2024. Her disappearance came after she battled mental health challenges for more than two decades.

In a heartfelt statement released by Scottish Rugby, Hastings’s children, Corey and Kerry-Anne, shared their sorrow: “Scott, the Scotland and British & Irish Lions centre, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of Sunday, May 17.”

They noted the significance of the date, coinciding with his late wife’s birthday, symbolizing in their words, “that he is safe and with his beloved Jenny.” They added that while Scott was undergoing treatment for cancer, unforeseen complications led to a rapid decline in his health.

‘Despite every effort by the incredible team at the Western General Hospital ICU, he passed away peacefully and pain free. At this time the family ask everyone to give them space to process and manage their energies and ask for their privacy to be respected.’

Jenny’s body was discovered on September 7, 2024 – the couple’s wedding anniversary.

In an emotional statement, released a day after the mother-of-two vanished, her family said: ‘As many of you know Jenny struggled with her mental health for a number of years and ultimately she was unable to cope on this occasion.

‘She swam out into the Firth of Forth from Wardie Bay in Edinburgh and it appears that she wished to end her suffering in what was a regular and healing place for her.

‘She loved the water but unfortunately her mind was not in a place of safety. The Hastings family are absolutely heartbroken.’

Mrs Hastings had been classed as a ‘high risk missing person’ because of her known struggles with mental health. She had previously spoken about her long-standing battle with severe depression and had made previous attempts on her own life.

‘When she was well, she was radiant and beautiful and outgoing,’ Scott said of his wife. ‘But to see somebody suffer poor mental health was a challenge.’

He would take solace in visiting Wardie Bay after her death, with the couple spending 45 years together.

Hastings is the most-capped male centre for Scotland of all-time and won the Grand Slam with Scotland in 1990, anchoring a victory against England.

Former team-mate and Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend said: ‘In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Scott was an iconic figure for Scottish rugby.

He went on to commentate on rugby for a number of broadcasters, including BT Sport, Sky Sports, ITV and BBC.

Speaking last year, he told how he returned every week to the bay where his ‘beautiful, radiant’ wife Jenny, 60, took her life in September 2024.

Scott said: ‘I miss Jenny every day.

‘She had this amazing connection with people and probably concentrated on other people’s health rather than her own mental health.’

A statement from Scottish Rugby said: ‘Scott Hastings won 65 caps for Scotland over 11 years (a record at that time), represented the British & Irish Lions on 12 occasions on two tours and played 13 games for the Barbarians.

‘A proud Watsonian, he also wore the Edinburgh jersey with such distinction. He remains the most-capped Scotland male centre of all-time.

‘But those stellar stats tell far from the whole story.‘

Sir Ian McGeechan, former Scotland and Lions head coach said: ‘My association with Scott and his brother Gavin was always special for me because we came into the Scotland set-up, myself as coach, and Scott and Gavin as players, at the same time.

‘We came in together and we grew together.

‘I remember Scott on the Lions tours taking an absolute lead. He was so single-minded and determined about winning.

‘He was very much your right-hand man, given what he did on the field. I still remember the Grand Slam game against England in 1990.

‘There was his Lions team-mate from the previous year, Jerry Guscott, in the England team, but Scott gave nothing away to him whatsoever.

‘Whatever jersey Scott wore, he just made it better.’

Current Scotland head coach, Mr Townsend, added: ‘His defensive display in the 1990 Grand Slam victory over England was crucial to that day’s success and he epitomised what it meant to play for Scotland – combining passion, confidence and aggression, whenever he wore the navy blue jersey.’

Another of Scott’s former international team-mates, Kenny Logan, worked closely with him when the Doddie Foundation was established, after Doddie Weir, a fellow former Scotland and Lions player, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

Mr Logan said: ‘Scott was one of those guys who you could rely on to always put his hand up. His energy was incredible.

‘I worked with him while he was chair of the Doddie Foundation and Scott’s role wasn’t just about generating PR.

‘He was very knowledgeable and would never hesitate to do his bit.’

Scott was inducted to the Scottish Rugby Hall of Fame last October.

The flag will fly at half-mast at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in tribute.

Benny Blanco Reveals He’s Restricted from Talking About Selena Gomez’s Personal Life

For Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, bedroom matters are strictly off-limits for public discussion.

“I’m not permitted to speak about that publicly,” Benny Blanco, 38, stated during the May 12 episode of his “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast. This response came after co-host Lil Dicky inquired about the music producer’s private life with his spouse.

Blanco also refuted any suggestion that Gomez, 33, compelled him to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep their personal life under wraps.

“No, it’s just about being respectful,” Blanco emphasized. “It’s kind of my personal code. I’m just being a gentleman or something along those lines. I’m not entirely sure.”

The wedding between Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez wasn’t without its hiccups. Blanco shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on February 26 that Gomez was in tears after misplacing her handwritten vows shortly before their wedding day. “She was really upset because she couldn’t find them,” he revealed.

Blanco and Gomez have been together since 2023, tying the knot two years later in September 2025.

“She’s my best friend,” Blanco gushed to Interview magazine in March 2025 of his relationship with his now-wife. “The second time we hung out, our second date, I was like, ‘Wait, does she like me?’ I was clueless. From then on, it was easy.”

He continued, “You know when you think you met the right person, you’re like, ‘Oh my god.’ But it feels so different. The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife.’ I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”

Since Blanco and Gomez said “I do,” their romance has only continued to blossom.

Selena Gomez Is Positively Glowing With Boyfriend Benny Blanco He Has Passed Every Test

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco‘s connection is unlike any relationship she has ever been in. “Selena has made it clear that she wants Benny by her side from now on, and she’s proudly introducing him to everyone in her life,” a source exclusively reveals in the newest issue of Us Weekly about the couple’s plans […]

“Selena had nerves before doing her first look with Benny, but from that moment on, she was radiating joy,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly after the wedding. “You could tell how happy she was, and she did not stop smiling or crying tears of joy the entire day.”

According to the insider, Gomez repeatedly told guests that she had “the best weekend and day of her life.”

When Gomez later appeared on Blanco’s podcast in March, she further called their wedding day a “pivotal moment” in her life.

“That’s when I realized I was like, ‘Oh I want this,’” the Only Murders in the Building actress recalled of her nuptials. “[Lil Dicky, our officiant] was killing and making everyone laugh in the right places, get emotional in the right places.”

Lil Dicky, 38, officiating Gomez and Blanco’s ceremony perfectly encapsulated their friendship.

“Coming into Benny’s world was really fun and exciting but different for me because I was very shy,” Gomez admitted at the time. “I didn’t know a lot of people and I kept to myself a lot which could be misconstrued but he was very nice and introduced me to a lot of people.”

Kurt Kitayama Sets Record with Stunning Final-Round 63 at PGA Championship

Kurt Kitayama etched his name into the record books with a remarkable round on Sunday.

He’s now in suspense at the 2026 PGA Championship, held at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

Kitayama delivered an impressive 7-under 63, matching the lowest final-round score ever recorded in a major tournament.

This stellar performance brought the 33-year-old to a 3-under total for the championship, trailing leader Alex Smalley by three strokes.

Beginning the day outside the top 60, Kitayama teed off six hours prior to Smalley, securing seven birdies, including a clutch one on the 18th hole, all while maintaining a flawless, bogey-free round.

However, with more than 20 players within four shots of the lead, Kitayama’s chances seem slim.

The impressive Sunday performance saw Kitayama jump 57 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for seventh at the time he finished.

“I felt like the first three days I was playing in such windy conditions, and it was so tough to get anything close. And today it was nice, wind was down,” Kitayama said. “Just felt so much easier when the wind was down. And made it a little easier to score, because the first two days it was so windy, and where the pins were you had to play wind on your putts, and that makes it so difficult to play.

“Today you could just kind of read it out they were and didn’t have to worry about any wind affecting it.”

Michigan Community College Student Makes History as First Woman to Represent the U.S. in World Welding Competition

0

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — From a young age, Mikala Sposito harbored aspirations of breaking new ground.

“I always wanted to be the first female to do something,” she reflected, her determination unwavering.

Now, that aspiration is on the brink of becoming a reality.

Hailing from Dexter, Michigan, the 21-year-old is set to make history as the first woman to represent the United States in welding at the prestigious WorldSkills Competition, scheduled to take place in China.

Sposito, currently a student at Washtenaw Community College, secured her spot on the international stage by triumphing at the USA Weld Trials held in Huntsville, Alabama, earlier this year.

“It was very, very close the whole time, but I was the one who made it to Shanghai,” Sposito said.

Described as the Olympics of the skilled trades, WorldSkills determines the globe’s best in technical disciplines that include construction, information technology, manufacturing and robotics.

And, of course, welding.

Sposito is the sixth Washtenaw Community College student to qualify in WorldSkills history. WCC has produced more WorldSkills welding alums than any other school in the United States, the Ann Arbor college said. One of them, Alex Pazkowski, who finished second in 2013, is Sposito’s instructor and mentor.

He accompanied her to the American championships in Alabama and also will be her coach at a series of competitions that will take them from Canada to Australia in the months leading up to WorldSkills in September.

Add to that 80 hours of welding practice per week at WCC, and Sposito has “a long, hard road” ahead of her, Pazkowski said.

“But at the end of the day, if you’re successful, it’s gonna open up all kinds of doors for you,” he said.

She will be evaluated on technical execution and craftsmanship under stiff time constraints and stringent international standards.

Sposito said she’s looking forward to putting up her skills against the world’s best. And traveling abroad, which she hasn’t done previously.

As for the “first” aspect, she said: “I don’t see the gender aspect of it.

“I mean, welding doesn’t take any brute strength or anything. It’s actually very fine and precise.”

But she does recognize that women are minority participants in a discipline she fell in love with at age 10. And if her world-class success joining together metals using heat and pressure helps pave the way for future welders, then all the better.

“Being the first female to do it is very cool,” said Sposito, whose near-term goal is to earn her bachelor’s degree in welding engineering at Wayne State University in Detroit. Long-term, she might like to follow in Pazkowski’s footsteps and teach at WCC.

Either way, she’s happy to be “inspirational for many women in the trades who have possibly struggled.”

Tourist’s Shocking Justification for Throwing Rock at Hawaiian Monk Seal Sparks Outrage and Awareness

0

A tourist visiting Hawaii, who was caught on camera throwing a rock at an endangered monk seal, has defended his actions by stating he was trying to protect two nearby turtles. The man, identified as Igor Lytvynchuk, 38, was involved in the incident during a trip to Lahaina on May 5.

As the incident unfolded, Lytvynchuk faced backlash from bystanders who questioned his behavior. He reportedly responded by saying he could afford any fines that might result from his actions. However, his troubles didn’t end there.

Following the circulation of the footage online, Lytvynchuk faced physical retribution from some outraged locals who managed to find him and reportedly assaulted him severely. The video quickly gained attention, sparking widespread condemnation.

In light of these events, Lytvynchuk’s defense lawyer has come forward, asserting that his client was acting with the intention of safeguarding other marine animals in the vicinity. This claim, however, has done little to quell the controversy surrounding his actions.

His defense lawyer has now claimed the Lytvynchuk was trying to protect some other nearby marine life.

‘There were two large turtles in the water. When he threw the rock, the intention was to scare the seal away. He had no idea, again, the significance of monk seals. He frankly didn’t know we had seals in Hawaii,’ his attorney, Myles Breiner, told Hawaii News Now.

According to Breiner, Lytvynchuk had previous experience with sea lions while he worked as a fisherman in Washington and knows how aggressive they can be.

So when Lytvynchuk and his wife were turtle watching, he believed he was performing a heroic act, Breiner told the outlet.

‘He assumed that when he saw the seal, the monk seal, pushing the turtles off of the rocks, that he was doing something good by scaring it away,’ the attorney said.

‘He’s devastated at the notion that people thought he wanted to injure the seal.’

Lytvynchuk faced further backlash after he bragged that he was ‘rich enough to pay the fines’ associated with the incident, which Breiner said was just a response to the pressure of the moment.

‘It comes off sounding like he’s bragging or being arrogant. OK, and that was possibly in response to people yelling at him and he was embarrassed, so he doubled down,’ Breiner added.

After the incident went viral, the Ukrainian naturalized US citizen was also assaulted by another man.

‘He was beaten pretty badly. There were no broken bones, but yeah, he had welts all over his back, his head, shoulders,’ the attorney said.

Breiner added that they would not be pressing charges.

Lytvynchuk appeared in court in Seattle on Thursday after he was charged with violating the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act.

A judge ordered his release on a personal recognizance bond pending another court appearance in Honolulu on May 27, Hawaii News Now reported. He was also ordered to surrender his passport.

‘He’s going to pay the price. We’re not going into court and saying no, he didn’t do this, but there’s always an explanation,’ Breiner said.

Lytvynchuk is also looking into giving back by donating to wildlife protection efforts.

If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison for each charge along with possible fines of up to $70,000.

Tragic Land O’ Lakes Plane Crash: Aircraft Plummets Just Seconds After Takeoff, NTSB Reports

Earlier Report: Pilot Confirmed, Aircraft Cleared After Neighborhood Crash

LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. (WFLA) — The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has revealed new details about the tragic plane crash in Land O’ Lakes last month. According to their findings, the aircraft was airborne for a mere 30 seconds before it plummeted to the ground, resulting in the death of the pilot.

The pilot was identified as 59-year-old Michael Bailey.

The incident occurred on the morning of April 19, shortly after 8:30 a.m., when a Cessna 401B aircraft crashed into the Grand Oaks subdivision on Aldus Drive. The impact caused the plane to burst into flames, leading to damage in the surrounding area.

The NTSB has since issued a preliminary report, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding this devastating event.

The report said witnesses described being alerted by the sound of the plane flying low, and one witness said the engine power sounded like it was decreasing.

The witness reported that the plane started a slight climb and then “dropped out of the sky,” followed by the sight of a large fireball and plume of smoke.

NTSB said surveillance video from Tampa North Aero Park shows the pilot conducting a preflight inspection of the plane and starting both engines without issue. The plane was seen taxiing, taking off and beginning to climb normally, the report said.

Soon after the plane left the camera’s field of view, a plume of smoke was seen rising in the distance.

The plane crashed in a residential neighborhood, narrowly missing a direct impact with nearby homes, and was almost destroyed.

“The fuselage was heavily damaged by impact forces and post-impact fire. The cockpit and cabin sections were largely consumed by fire, and the instrument panel was destroyed. Due to thermal damage, instrument indications were unreliable,” the NTSB report reads. “All cockpit switches were destroyed by post-impact fire. The main landing gear was observed in the retracted position. Flight control continuity was established to all flight control surfaces.”

Throughout its 30-second flight, the plane climbed to around 200 feet and reached 86 knots

Tragic Backyard Pool Incident: Mother Accused of Neglect as Toddlers Drown with Cocaine in Their Systems

A Texas mother is now facing serious legal charges after her young children were discovered unresponsive in their backyard swimming pool, later testing positive for cocaine. The tragic incident has resulted in a significant criminal investigation.

Laura Nicholson was apprehended in Florida on May 11 and is charged with two counts of injury to a child linked to the deaths of her daughters. This information was confirmed by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

As of now, it remains unclear if Laura Nicholson has formally entered a plea regarding the charges.

The events unfolded in February when, according to a criminal complaint acquired by Oxygen, Laura was reportedly asleep on the couch. During this time, her daughters, aged 2 and 3, somehow ventured outside.

She was abruptly awakened by her mother, Catherine Nicholson, who was frantically shouting about the children being in the pool, as detailed in the complaint.

Catherine told Harris County deputies in the criminal complaint that she had left earlier that morning to run errands while her daughter slept and the girls played in the living room. But when she returned, she noticed the back door partially open and discovered her grandchildren in the water.

The children’s grandfather, David Nicholson, who had also been asleep upstairs, awoke to the commotion, according to the complaint, and helped administer CPR after Catherine and Laura pulled the children from the water. Meanwhile, several neighbors arrived and called 911.

An investigator then asked David if his daughter was fit to care for her children.

“He said as far as the children go, yes,” authorities wrote in the complaint. “He said she falls asleep a lot and this causes issues.”

Laura also made several startling admissions to investigators.

As investigators wrote in the complaint, she admitted that the door latch had been broken for the past two days and would not lock. She also said her children are “always getting out and running to the pool” and that child protective services had questioned her last year about “drug allegations.”

Autopsies for both children revealed they had cocaine and benzoylecgonine, a cocaine metabolite, in their blood, according to the complaint.

Although the results did not definitively determine whether the girls had drowned, a forensic pathologist stated that it could not be ruled out as a cause of death.

Oxygen could not locate an attorney for Laura.

Discover Mark Hamill’s Hidden Sci-Fi Gem: The Overlooked Anthology Series Streaming Now on Hulu

When one considers the realm of science fiction anthology series, “Black Mirror” and “The Twilight Zone” often dominate the conversation. Yet, in 2017, Hulu introduced its own unique entry that didn’t quite capture the widespread attention it deserved. Narrated by the legendary Mark Hamill, “Dimension 404” transports viewers into a different narrative with each episode, ranging from surreal video game challenges to a magical energy drink that can alter time perception.

Debuting in April 2017, “Dimension 404” was met with positive reception, earning an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics frequently drew parallels to the iconic anthology series mentioned earlier. As Cheryl Eddy commented for Gizmodo, “While the show is heavily inspired by its predecessors—most notably ‘The Twilight Zone’ and ‘Black Mirror’—it does so in an entertaining manner, bolstered by a stellar cast that adds significant appeal.”

“Dimension 404” rolled out its episodes weekly until April 25, but its moment in the spotlight was short-lived. Shortly thereafter, Hulu launched the first three episodes of its adaptation of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which quickly became a major hit and inadvertently overshadowed “Dimension 404.”

Though “Black Mirror” offers a plethora of episodes with a wide array of themes, “Dimension 404” adopted a similar episodic format but with a greater emphasis on humor. Consequently, the series delivers a more lighthearted experience compared to the often dark or satirical tone of “Black Mirror.” While both series explore similar themes, Hulu’s take is presented through a more comedic lens.

Much like its Netflix counterpart, a significant draw of this anthology is its familiar faces. With its comedic approach, “Dimension 404” features notable comedy actors such as Patton Oswalt and Joel McHale, alongside sitcom stars like Constance Wu and Sarah Hyland. Kayla Cobb aptly described the series for Decider as “akin to watching a series of delightfully campy B-movies headlined by celebrities you recognize.”

Dimension 404 is an underrated anthology gem

While “Black Mirror” has plenty of episodes to go through, with a variety of topics to suit anyone’s taste, “Dimension 404” used a similar model but infused more comedy. As a result, the episodes offer a lighter tone than the often dark or satirical nature of “Black Mirror.” The Hulu series has similar messaging to “Black Mirror,” but presents it through a different lens.

Like the Netflix series, part of the anthology’s charm is its recognizable cast. Because of the humorous tone, well-known comedy stars like Patton Oswalt and Joel McHale appear, along with sitcom idols such as Constance Wu and Sarah Hyland. “The series is like watching a bunch of delightfully campy B-movies starring celebrities you know,” Kayla Cobb wrote for Decider.

Unfortunately, “Dimension 404” never received a 2nd season, losing its chances of being among the great season-by-season anthologies. However, a cancellation announcement never materialized, so there’s always a chance “Dimension 404” could return, though it seems unlikely at this point.
