Ex-Illini and NFL Defensive Back Hosts Father-Son Weekend in Decatur

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Tavon Wilson, a former University of Illinois safety who enjoyed a decade-long career in the NFL, is making a meaningful return to Central Illinois with a mission to give back to the community.

Wilson will be the featured speaker at an event in Decatur called “The Locker Room,” scheduled for May 1-2. This weekend promises a series of activities focused on fostering community connections and addressing important issues.

The initiative, which Wilson hopes will resonate with local families, particularly aims to create lasting memories. As a father to two boys, Wilson is deeply invested in making a positive impact. “I wanted to organize something that would truly be impactful and have a lasting influence,” Wilson shared. “My sons are my top priority, which inspired the idea of a father-son weekend.”

The event will include activities like haircuts and open conversations, providing a space to discuss various topics that weigh on people’s minds. “It’s designed to be like a barbershop setting where people feel comfortable to express whatever is on their hearts,” Wilson explained. This approach emphasizes the importance of community support and open dialogue, akin to the candid and welcoming atmosphere of a traditional barbershop.

“I really wanted to do something that’s impactful, and that’s long-lasting,” Wilson said. “My sons are the most important thing to me, so we came up with this event with the father-son weekend.” “It’s haircuts and conversations to start to address different issues.” “Things on people’s hearts, whatever it may be, kind of like the barbershop set up to where when you go to the barbershop, you’re kind of comfortable.”

Wilson played for the Illini from 2008-11 before getting drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, who he later won Super Bowl XLIX with. He also played for the 49ers, Colts, and Lions.

Trump’s Cuba Bombshell: Unveiling Hidden Truths or Stirring the Pot?

President Donald Trump took the stage at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches in Florida on Friday evening, exuding a lighthearted demeanor. With a playful smile, he addressed the longstanding issue of communist Cuba, an island nation located just 90 miles from Key West. For decades, Cuba’s citizens have endured severe economic hardships, with images of the country often reflecting a scene frozen in the 1960s.

In his speech, Trump humorously referenced Cuba’s history of aligning with adversaries of the United States. “Maybe we’ll just take it,” he jested, eliciting laughter from the audience.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump says he might TAKE OVER CUBA “almost immediately” using the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN traveling back from Iran

“On the way back from Iran, we’ll have one of our big, maybe the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier. We’ll have that come in, stop about 100 yards offshore, and they’ll say, ‘thank you very much, we give up!’” 🤣

“A place called Cuba, which we will be taking over almost immediately. Now, Cuba’s got problems. We’ll finish one [the conflict in Iran] first. I like to finish the job.”

Cuba is next, Marco [Rubio] has been waiting! 🔥

MORE: Trump Slaps New May Day Sanctions on Cuban Regime

Progressive Dems Blame Cuba’s Suffering on US Oil Embargo, Not Communism

The president had a slight grin on his face as he delivered the remarks, which were received with laughter and applause, but the actions he’s taken in his second stint as president have been anything but funny to the regime of the República de Cuba. He has hammered them with sanctions, cut off much of their oil supply, and publicly stated that the country is “seeing the end” of its communist way of life. Backed by his Cuban-American Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, Trump’s administration has subscribed to a “maximum pressure” strategy and has even hinted they might force the removal of President Miguel Díaz‑Canel.

As RedState’s Ward Clark reported Friday, Trump ordered new May Day sanctions against the communist regime. Under Secretary of State for Foreign Assistance, Humanitarian Affairs, and Religious Freedom Jeremy Lewin posted the news:

Today, @POTUS imposed powerful new sanctions on the Cuban regime and its kleptocratic elites, military-intelligence apparatus and financial enablers. Just 90 miles from the American homeland, Cuba’s communist rulers have turned the island over to hostile military, intelligence and terrorist actors. Under President Trump and @SecRubio, we are reasserting American dominance in our hemisphere and ensuring crime, drugs, chaos and anti-Americanism never again fester in our backyard.

Trump might be joking — but he might not be. With Operation Midnight Hammer attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities in June 2025, Operation Absolute Resolve in January of this year, which removed former dictator Nicolás Maduro from power in Venezuela, and the ongoing Operation Epic Fury against the mullahs of Iran that commenced in February, the president has proven that he’s willing to take actions that other presidents would never even fathom.

He may have just been joshing at the event — but if I were a Cuban leader tonight, I sure as heck wouldn’t be laughing.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump and his administration’s bold leadership, we are respected on the world stage, and our enemies are being put on notice.

Boz Saint John Criticizes Andy Cohen’s Skeptical Reaction to Her CMO Career at RHOBH Reunion; Cohen Responds

In the second segment of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, the topic of Bozoma Saint John‘s role as a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) surfaced, prompting a doubtful expression from Andy Cohen.

When questioned about this moment on social media, Cohen responded by saying that every CMO he was acquainted with typically had a “more long-term” approach.

He humorously concluded his comment on his Threads page with, “But what do I know?”

Taking to Instagram, Bozoma addressed Andy’s skeptical reaction and his subsequent post.

Boz took to Instagram today to clap back at Andy over his dubious look and social media post.

“Andy Cohen, come here,” she began. “I’m calling you to the front of the class. Okay, did you really make this face when we were at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, and we were talking about this?”

“A CMO job is a short-tenured job. It is,” she continued. “It’s not meant to be for a long period of time. It is usually –  it is intended to be a long time, but what happens is that a lot of times the blame of any company’s failure or its, you know, issues with the stock, falls on a CMO. Now, I know you couldn’t have meant to have a skeptical look, right? Because there have been plenty of white papers and think pieces that have been written about the tenure of the CMO and the high-pressure job that it is.”

Boz noted that, even though Andy decided to double down on it with his social media post, she was going to assume he was “unaware.”

“Okay, now everyone, while I have your attention, I don’t want us to be distracted by this debate about whether or not I can keep a job, okay?” she elaborated. “But by the way, do you really think that billion-dollar businesses would keep hiring a CMO who has a failing track record? Uh, no. Okay? And do you think I’d be placed in not one, but two Halls of Fame if I didn’t do anything? Uh, no. Okay? So it’s not an accident or by happenstance, alright?”

Boz then gave some important statistics, namely revealing that of ~329-346 Fortune 500 companies who have a “senior marketing leader in the C-suite,” only 1% are currently held by a Black woman.

“1%,” she reiterated. “That means if we take the high number—let’s say 346 CMO roles—that means three or four of those roles are filled by someone who looks like me. And oh, by the way, I know them personally. That’s how small the circle is.”

Boz revealed she hopes everyone who “was skeptical” is now “aware of the disparity, the challenge, and the incredible amount of fortitude it takes to achieve.”

She also shared that, even though she retired from corporate life, she wants “everyone to be aware that more than 300,000 Black women have been forced out of the workforce, not of their own volition.”

“It is outpacing all other factions of the population, even though Black women continue to outpace all other factions in education,” she added. “Do you really think that this sounds fair? How can it be? So if you really want to debate who can and cannot keep a job, let’s actually talk about that and let’s find a solution.”

Boz concluded by playing a clip of a Lil Wayne song, noting she’s the “best to ever do it.”

And just moments ago, Andy responded to Boz’s video calling him by posting, “I WAS UNAWARE. I AM NOW!”

Local Man Arrested for Assault Threat Against Utility Worker with Crowbar in Tense Confrontation

Staff Report

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Authorities have taken 45-year-old Matthew James Osgood of Citra into custody following accusations of threatening a utility worker with a crowbar.

The incident unfolded around 1:15 p.m. on April 28, when an officer from the Gainesville Police Department was dispatched to the vicinity of NW 6th Street and NW 3rd Avenue. According to the victim, he and his colleagues were engaged in utility work, having cordoned off the area for safety purposes.

The victim recounted that Osgood entered the restricted zone and approached him. Upon being asked to leave for safety reasons, Osgood allegedly began shouting at the workers. He reportedly left the scene but soon returned wielding a crowbar, continuing to yell and allegedly threatening the victim with the tool. The victim stated that he feared for his safety.

The victim’s account was supported by testimonies from his co-workers, all of whom confirmed the sequence of events.

Post Miranda, Osgood reportedly did not want to answer questions.

Osgood has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He lives in Citra and told Court Services he works for a lawn care company and was only in Gainesville for the day. Zayn Malik’s Health Concerns Lead to Canceled US Tour: What Fans Need to Know

0

Fans were taken aback when Zayn Malik revealed he would be canceling his highly anticipated tour.

The announcement, made on Friday, disclosed that the pop star decided to call off his entire U.S. tour, which was slated to kick off on July 12.

In a heartfelt message shared via Instagram Stories, Malik expressed his gratitude, saying, “To my fans: Your support and affection during the album launch, and especially your thoughts and prayers for my health, have been incredibly touching. I’ve felt every bit of it, and it’s been invaluable. While recuperating at home, I’m healing well and will return stronger than ever.”

Explaining further, he mentioned, “I needed to reassess my upcoming schedule and decided to scale back the number of performances on the KONNAKOL Tour.”

Malik assured his supporters, “I am eager to connect with as many of you as possible. I can’t wait to perform these shows and hope to meet the rest of you across the globe soon. Much love, Z.”

The announcement comes after Malik was hospitalized last month due to an undisclosed, unexpected health issue, forcing him to cancel numerous TV appearances during his album release week.

Malik also hit headlines last month after being caught in a shock row with his former bandmate and close pal Louis Tomlinson.

Claims had emerged that Malik had punched Tomlinson during a violent clash while filming for their Netflix documentary.

The pair had joined forces to film a three-part road trip docuseries for the streaming service, which has since been axed following their fallout.

The incident took place while the pair were filming on location and occurred after Malik allegedly made negative comments about Tomlinson’s mum, Johannah Deakin, who died of leukemia in 2016.

“It spiraled into a row then Zayn made a remark about Louis’ mum Johannah,” sources told The Sun in April.

The insider added: “Louis was stunned and in shock. As he went to move, Zayn then attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings it cut Louis’ head.

“He was pulled away and Louis was taken for medical treatment. He was left with a concussion.

“This happened outside in front of so many people. It was shocking.”

According to the outlet, neither band member has spoken to the other since the incident six months ago.

Shocking Twist: Mother Charged in E-Motorbike Fatality Involving Her Son

0
A California woman has been charged with manslaughter after an 81-year-old man who was struck by her teen son on an e-motorcycle died from his injuries, prosecutors said on Friday.
On April 16, Tommi Jo Mejer’s 14-year-old son was riding a Surron e-motorcycle and doing wheelies when he hit Ed Ashman, according to prosecutors.

Ashman, a once-decorated captain in the US Marine Corps, was making his way home from his role as a substitute teacher at a high school in Lake Forest when tragedy struck. Critically injured in a shocking incident, Ashman passed away on Thursday. The aftermath saw Mejer, a resident of Aliso Viejo in Orange County, facing serious legal repercussions. Already charged with felony child endangerment, Mejer now confronts an additional charge of involuntary manslaughter.

On April 16, Tommi Jo Mejer's 14-year-old son was riding a Surron e-motorcycle and doing wheelies when he hit Ed Ashman, according to prosecutors. Ashman, a former captain in the US Marine Corps, was walking home from his job as a substitute teacher at a high school in Lake Forest.

The incident has drawn sharp criticism from authorities. “This mother essentially handed her 14-year-old son a deadly weapon,” Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer remarked in a statement. He underscored the severity of the situation, highlighting that despite repeated warnings about the dangers, Mejer allowed her son to continue illegally riding an e-motorcycle, ultimately leading to a fatal outcome.

Currently, Mejer has not yet had her day in court, and records show no public defender is representing her at this time. The District Attorney’s Office did provide The Associated Press with the name of a private attorney who might be defending Mejer. However, attempts to reach this attorney for comment have not been met with a response.

Mejer has not yet appeared in court, and there was no public defender listed in records for her.

The District Attorney’s Office gave The Associated Press the name of a private attorney who may be representing Mejer; that person did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment.

Mejer was also charged with felony accessory after the fact and misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and providing false information to an officer.

In June 2025, prosecutors said, Mejer called the Sheriff’s Department to complain that someone was posting pictures of her son riding the e-motorcycle.

In an interaction with deputies that was recorded by body camera, she said she bought the vehicle and “knew that he drove it recklessly.”

She was warned by deputies that she could face criminal charges for letting him ride it illegally, prosecutors said.

A bike is classified as an e-motorcycle under state law in California if it has an electric motor with more than 750 watts of power or can reach speeds above 32 kph without having to pedal.

Riders are required to be at least 16 years old and have a motorcycle license.

The Surron e-motorcycle in question is capable of 90 kph speeds, according to manufacturers.

In the hours after the April collision, Mejer told deputies that neither she nor her son owned a Surron e-motorcycle or had access to one, prosecutors said.

The district attorney’s office said it could not discuss whether the boy will face prosecution because it is a juvenile case.

Orange County prosecutors have filed child endangerment charges against three parents this year for letting children ride e-motorcycles illegally.

And in Contra Costa County, in Northern California, parents were charged after their child crashed into a minivan.

In the past, prosecutions of parents were typically seen in truancy cases since the law specifically mentions their liability, said Lawrence Rosenthal, a law professor at Chapman University.

Acclaimed actor’s drinking contest leaves everyone else with a headache

But parental criminal liability in other circumstances has gained attention in recent years, especially in prosecutions and convictions related to shootings committed by minors.

“This is a very new theory. There’s not a long, robust history,” Rosenthal said.

In the cases involving shootings, prosecutors have to prove that the parent committed some act of “criminal negligence” that led to a death, such as providing access to a gun, according to Rosenthal.

However the legal theories that were used might be more difficult to prove in e-motorcycle cases, Rosenthal said.

Prosecutors will have to show that parents knew the risk of an e-motorcycle when letting their child ride one, and firearms represent a “far easier-to-grasp threat to human life.”

“Is it reasonably foreseeable that a child’s going to kill somebody?” Rosenthal said.

ICE Agent Involved in Renee Good’s Fatal Incident Quietly Reinstated

0

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent involved in a January shooting has quietly resumed work under specific conditions, according to a recent report.

Jonathan Ross, aged 43, has transitioned to handling administrative and investigative tasks following his involvement in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good on January 7 in Minneapolis, reported by PunchUp.

The incident gained significant public attention, with conflicting narratives emerging. Some claim Good was trying to harm Ross, while others argue she was merely attempting to flee the scene.

Initially, Ross was placed on administrative leave for a brief period of three days before being relocated out of state, as detailed in the report.

According to Department of Homeland Security officials, Ross was reassigned due to delays in the investigation into Good’s shooting.

The Department of Justice previously said ICE’s internal affairs unit was conducting a parallel review alongside the FBI probe.

But unnamed senior officials claimed Ross’ accountability process was effectively frozen since the internal investigation was paralyzed until the FBI finished its own probe, per the report.

One senior ICE official told the outlet that the FBI needed to ‘s*** or get off the pot.’

Senior DHS officials claimed that the investigation into Ross’ shooting of Good had effectively been paused

They explained the limbo surrounding Ross had prevented ICE from speaking publicly about the killing or attempting to rebuild public confidence.

Senior DHS officials told the outlet that the White House directed the decision to freeze Minnesota state investigators from federal evidence, as well as the crime scene.

The report claimed that one top official said the investigation into Good’s killing ‘makes us look like idiots.’

For now, Ross has not faced any further action in the mother-of-three’s shooting and remains on active duty.

The Department of Homeland Security said that the fatal shooting remained ‘under investigation.’

‘All shootings are initially reviewed by an appropriate law enforcement agency,’ a DHS spokesperson told the Daily Beast.

‘Following a review of the incident by the appropriate investigative agency, ICE and CBP conduct an independent review of the critical incident,’ the agency added.

FBI agents had launched a civil rights investigation into Ross after Good’s death, according to the Washington Post.

An initial review determined that sufficient grounds existed to open a probe into his actions but it was seemingly never pursued. However, the FBI pushed back against that report and called the claims false.

‘The decisions referenced here were not made by the FBI,’ the agency wrote January 19 on X.

‘The FBI still continues to pursue evidence in this case with our federal partners, investigating the shooting incident as well as the ongoing violent criminal actors and their funding sources,’ the statement continued.

‘The facts are the initiator, and the facts do not support civil rights investigation.’

The Department of Homeland Security previously said that Ross suffered internal bleeding to his torso following the encounter with Good.

Seventeen days after Good’s death, federal officers shot dead nurse Alex Pretti, 37, during the same targeted immigration enforcement operation.

DHS officials said Pretti approached officers with a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun, though witness videos from the scene appeared to show Pretti holding his phone up – not a firearm.

Footage suggested that an officer took Pretti’s weapon from his waistband and walked away with it moments before he was killed.

The killings prompted mass protests across the US and ended in DHS Secretary Kristi Noem leaving her position to eventually be replaced by Markwayne Mullin.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, sought confirmation that Ross had not been reassigned to New York

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, reacted to the report of Ross’ reassignment by sending a letter, dated Wednesday, to border czar Tom Homan.

Hochul said she was seeking confirmation that Ross had not been reassigned to New York state.

‘If Jonathan Ross has been reassigned to work in New York, I demand that he be immediately removed and not redeployed unless cleared after a full, independent investigation,’ Hochul wrote in her letter, which was published by Politico.

‘I have no confidence that Ross can be trusted to safely interact with the public,’ she added. ‘Nor should you.’

‘If ICE is truly interested in going after the ‘worst of the worst,’ it should start with accountability for those responsible for the killing of Renee Good,’ Hochul said.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the DHS for further comment.

Undercover Operation Unmasks ‘Santa Claus’ as Child Predator: Sheriff Reveals Shocking Arrest

0

A man from Polk County, Florida, known for frequently portraying Santa Claus, has been arrested following allegations that he attempted to engage in sexual activities with a minor.

Thomas Allen Hicks, aged 68, was among 19 individuals apprehended as part of an investigation targeting those allegedly seeking to travel for illicit encounters with minors, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

According to arrest records, Hicks, who often dons the Santa suit, allegedly used a prostitution website with the intent of arranging a meeting with what he believed to be a 13-year-old girl, supposedly being made available by her father.

Thomas Allen Hicks was arrested in Florida

However, the supposed encounter was a sting operation orchestrated by an undercover deputy. Communications between Hicks and the deputy revealed that Hicks allegedly offered $200 in exchange for the encounter with the young girl, as stated by the sheriff’s office.

An undercover deputy was behind the fake ad, though, police said. As Hicks began messaging the deputy, the sheriff’s office said, he told the deputy he would pay $200 to have sex with the girl.

Later in their conversation, Hicks allegedly revealed his location to “meet up,” where he was caught and cuffed.

“I talked to the real Santa Claus today, and he’s pissed,” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during a news conference, FOX 13 reported. “He said it’s people like that who give me a bad reputation and I spend all this time going all around the world giving presents to all the good boys and girls. Sheriff, I’m glad you got him locked up.

“You can’t fix these people. They’ve got a hitch in their giddy up. Their elevator don’t go all the way to the top. It stops at P – pedophile floor. It stops at P – predator floor. It stops at C – Child predator floor. These are dangerous people.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to Hicks’s attorney for comment.

Prior to his arrest, Hicks worked for Tri-County Human Services, a behavioral health clinic. He has since been fired.

“Tri-County Human Services is aware that Tom Hicks, Marketing Manager, was recently arrested in connection with allegations of inappropriate conduct. Tri-County took immediate and appropriate action to terminate this individual’s employment to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our staff and the individuals we serve each day,” the company said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“As this is now an ongoing legal matter, management will not be commenting on the specific details or unverified information related to this situation. Tri-County supports the Polk County Sheriff’s office in their investigation and activities to maintain the safety of the community. Mr. Hicks did not have access to client files or their electronic health record and was not able to gather any data related to child information at any time during his employe. Tri-County Human Services, its Board, and management team remains fully committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful workplace for all staff, clients, and community partners.”

As for the rest of the suspects, the PCSO said the multi-day joint operation brought about 85 felony charges and eight misdemeanors total.

“It never ceases to amaze us how many suspects travel to have sex with who they believe are children, especially here in Polk County where we proactively investigate and arrest those who prey on children. Speaking of believing, we even arrested Santa Claus during this undercover operation.”

Breaking: Six Australian Activists Freed in Greece After Gaza Aid Flotilla Detention

0

In a development marking the end of a tense maritime episode, six Australians who were apprehended by the Israeli military while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza have been freed after spending several days at sea. These individuals were part of an over one hundred-strong contingent participating in the second Global Sumud Flotilla, an ongoing campaign by activist groups aiming to challenge the longstanding Israeli naval blockade of Gaza.

The release took place on the Greek island of Crete after the flotilla was intercepted by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) off its coast on a recent Wednesday. This interception is part of a series of similar actions as activists continue their efforts to draw attention to the situation in Gaza through such flotillas.

Among those released, three Australians—Ethan Floyd, Zack Schofield, and Neve O’Connor—required medical attention following their return. They reported being injured and alleged that they experienced violence and mistreatment while detained aboard the Israeli military vessel.

Flotilla organisers said three Australians — Ethan Floyd, Zack Schofield and Neve O’Connor — were taken to hospital for injuries after being released.

The three Australians say they were subjected to violence and mistreated while on board the Israeli vessel.

“We three are all physically okay as you can be after that experience,” the trio said in a video message from Sitia hospital in Crete.

Three men stand together with their arms around each other, posing for a photo along a waterfront railing. In the background, the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are visible under a bright, partly cloudy sky. The man on the left wears a brown button-down shirt and navy trousers, the man in the center wears a grey zip-up jacket, and the man on the right wears a patterned brown shirt with the words "LOVE YOUR KINFOLK" and a black baseball cap.

Organisers said all 173 international activists were released except for two leaders of the flotilla: Thiago Ávila from Brazil and Saif Abu Keshek from Spain.

Floyd, Schofield and O’Connor said they would go on hunger strike until the health and whereabouts of the remaining detainees was confirmed.

Images posted by the Global Sumud Flotilla on X appear to show wounds inflicted on the activists, including bruising and gashes.

Israeli foreign affairs minister Gideon Sa’ar confirmed the vessels had been intercepted but insisted participants were unharmed.

“All participants in the provocative flotilla who were taken off the vessels were taken off unharmed,” he said on X.

The vessels were seized in international waters off Greece’s Peloponnese peninsula, hundreds of kilometres from Gaza, organisers said.

Organisers claim the IDF’s actions were unlawful as they occurred in international waters far from Gaza.

“This is piracy,” the Global Sumud Flotilla said in a statement.

“This is the unlawful seizure of human beings on the open sea near Crete, an assertion that Israel can operate with total impunity, far beyond its own borders, with no consequences.”

Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Oren Marmorstein said this week that “early action” was both necessary and legal under international law due to “the large numbers of vessels participating in the flotilla and the risk of escalation, and the need to prevent the breach of a lawful blockade”.

The ministry later confirmed that the two remaining detainees had been brought to Israel for questioning.

“Saif Abu Keshek, suspected of affiliation with a terrorist organisation and Thiago Ávila suspected of illegal activity, will be brought to Israel for questioning,” it said on X.

“We demand that all governments do all they can to pressure the Israeli regime to release all the illegal abductees,” the Global Sumud Flotilla said.

Surya McEwen, Cameron Tribe and Bianca Webb-Pullman round out the six Australian detainees, among around 17 known to have been participating in the flotilla.

Seven Australians were detained by the IDF during the previous Sumud flotilla in October.

Israel controls access to the Gaza Strip and denies withholding supplies for its two million residents, with Israel’s main aid coordination agency regularly pointing to increased access via authorised pathways into the enclave since last October’s ceasefire.

However, numerous Palestinian and international aid bodies — including Doctors Without Borders and the Red Crescent Society — say humanitarian supplies to the territory remain insufficient.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which has been contacted, has previously urged Australians not to participate in breaches of Israel’s blockade.

Sydneysiders are set to paddle across Sydney Harbour on Sunday to show support for the flotilla.

“I have to say so far, this is the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced both emotionally and mentally. People are like “But its just cooking”… It is but it isn’t. It is your heart on your sleeve in the biggest reality TV show in the world… All in all, I wouldn’t change it for the world, it’s truely character building and I’v already experienced a lot of that in my life!

“My highlight so far has been cooking for Jimmy and Jane Barnes. Our alignment of food and family was so beautiful and Jim loved what I did with Janes marmalade in my first ever MysteryBox.”
