A transgender undocumented immigrant who admitted to molesting a teenage boy in a New York City convenience store last year is likely to receive a lenient sentence, avoiding further jail time.

Nicol Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, a 31-year-old Colombian immigrant who is biologically male, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape. Authorities reported that Contreras-Suarez sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy in East Harlem the previous year, as detailed by the New York Post.

Initially, Contreras-Suarez faced charges of first-degree rape of a minor under 17 and stalking.

Reports suggest that a judge from the Manhattan Supreme Court has promised Contreras-Suarez a sentence of merely six months in prison.

However, Contreras-Suarez is expected to be granted credit for time served – meaning the defendant will be released from custody at sentencing on April 27 unless federal immigration officials step in, the Post reported. 

“We expect the defendant to remain detained and be deported following sentencing, due to the felony conviction,” a spokesperson for the DA’s Office said in a statement to the outlet. 

The deal was reportedly reached by prosecutors working with the teenage victim’s family in an effort to keep the boy from having to take the stand in front of a grand jury and at trial.

Contreras-Suarez followed the teenager into a bodega near Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem and sexually assaulted him on Feb. 11, 2025, prosecutors said, according to the Post.

The victim flagged down bystanders for help immediately after the attack, and Contreras-Suarez was taken into custody the next day. 

At the time of Contreras-Suarez’s arrest, the suspect was reportedly facing prostitution, robbery and weapons charges in Massachusetts, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

However, “due to local sanctuary policies,” Contreras-Suarez was subsequently released, DHS officials revealed at the time. 

In March 2023, Contreras-Suarez was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for illegally crossing the border in San Ysidro, California, according to DHS.

At the time of Contreras-Suarez’s arrest in New York City, then-DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stressed that “this creep should’ve never been released into our country.”

“Thanks to the failed sanctuary policies and Biden’s open-border agenda, this serial criminal was freed to prey on innocent American children — but that ends now,” she said.

ICE officials subsequently lodged an immigration detainer against Contreras-Suarez following the Manhattan arrest last year.

“ICE will not allow predators like Contreras-Suarez to terrorize American citizens,” McLaughlin said at the time.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and ICE did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.  

Their relationship has weathered more storms than most, and it seems nothing can break this scandal-ridden pair apart. Recently ousted from the Department of Homeland Security, Corey Lewandowski has wasted no time aligning with Kristi Noem, his fellow outcast and alleged romantic partner. This week, he joined Noem on one of her initial international ventures for the State Department.

On Wednesday, the Guyanese government released photos capturing Lewandowski, dressed in a dark suit and salmon-colored tie, seated solemnly beside Noem during a formal meeting in Guyana. The meeting included the South American nation’s president and other officials, marking a surprising public appearance for the duo.

Their conspicuous presence in Guyana sparked both amusement and outrage among Noem’s former colleagues at the Department of Homeland Security. The bold show of unity did not go unnoticed. “They just can’t quit each other,” a DHS official remarked to the Daily Mail, underscoring the perplexity and intrigue surrounding their enduring connection.

The brazen display in Guyana prompted outrage and guffaws among some of Noem’s former colleagues at DHS.

It is unclear if Lewandowski, who is facing multiple investigations for questionable contracts he helped negotiate at DHS, has landed any official job with the State Department.

But there he was this week, holding court with Noem in what appeared to be an official capacity.

Neither of their spouses were present, at least in the photos.

It was just a couple of weeks earlier that Noem was fired from DHS after being brutally grilled in Congress for her alleged affair with Lewandowski and their handling of a controversial $220 million DHS ad campaign.

The Daily Mail revealed Tuesday that Noem, Lewandowski and associates at Homeland Security face a new wide-ranging criminal investigation over the rewarding of billions of dollars in no-bid contracts.

The Homeland Security Inspector General has launched the investigation, sending notices to dozens of people involved in approving the contracts, including many in Noem’s inner-circle.

Those officials are being ordered to preserve all communications including documents, text messages, emails and phone records, multiple DHS officials tell the Daily Mail.

Then on Wednesday, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee called for an investigation into allegations that DHS officials steered hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to politically connected firms through contracts. 

They also urged the committee to subpoena Lewandowksi — a ‘special government employee’ who served as Noem’s top advisor at DHS — for his central role in the spending.

News of Noem’s departure came March 5 after a tumultuous tenure.

She was re-assigned that same day to a lesser position as Special Envoy to The Shield of the Americas, a new White House security initiative.

Lewandowski, who followed her out the door, popped up later that same day at a counter-cartel conference hosted by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth in the US Southern Command headquarters in Doral, Florida.

‘Honored to be able to participate in the Americas Counter-Cartel Conference today with our Amazing @SecWar,’ Lewandowski posted on X. 

‘Thank you for bringing so many Western Hemisphere countries together to battle the Cartels!’

Neither he, Noem nor the State Department have posted any photos of him on the Guyana trip the following week.

Trump administration officials told The New York Times last week that Lewandowski, after being ejected from DHS, was ‘not expected’ to land another job in the administration.

It was the Office of the President of Guyana that outed Lewandowski, releasing footage of him flanking Noem at a conference table with president Irfaan Ali and other Guyanese government officials.

They were purportedly there to discuss joint efforts to disrupt cartel and transnational crime, strengthen border security, discourage illegal immigration and promote economic activity.

The probe into the pair comes just as Markwayne Mullin was sworn in alongside Trump at the White House on Tuesday afternoon, replacing Noem as Homeland Security Secretary. 

The DHS contracting process has come under public scrutiny in recent weeks over concerns about possible influence peddling and conflicts of interest.

Some DHS contractors told White House officials that Lewandowski allegedly solicited ‘pay to play’ fees in exchange for helping secure or expand contracts, a tactic sources told the Daily Mail was widely referred to as ‘the Lewandowski tax.’ 

Lewandowski, a former special government employee, has denied any wrongdoing.

Noem and Lewandowski maintained tight control over the approval of all six-figure contracts. Their insistence on sole authorization created months-long backlogs, delaying contracts tied to FEMA disaster relief and construction of Trump’s border wall.

But DHS sources tell the Daily Mail this also allowed the pair to circumvent standard oversight.

When contacted for a response on the investigation, Lewandowski replied, ‘Fake news.’

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — In a shocking case involving artificial intelligence misuse, two teenage boys were sentenced to probation on Wednesday for creating fake nude images of their classmates at a prestigious private school in Pennsylvania. The victims provided emotional testimonies about the distressing impact of these images.

At 14 years old, the boys confessed earlier this month to producing around 350 altered images, depicting at least 59 underage girls. Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have yet to be identified.

Investigators revealed that the boys sourced images of the girls from school photos, yearbooks, and social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and FaceTime in 2023 and 2024. These were then digitally combined with adult content depicting nudity or sexual acts.

The courtroom was packed with over 100 students and parents from Lancaster Country Day School, who listened to victims recount their horror at identifying their faces in explicit images. Although juvenile court sessions in Pennsylvania are typically confidential, this one was opened by a judge, allowing the community to openly express their concerns.

The affected girls shared the emotional toll of the incident, describing anxiety attacks, eroded trust, difficulties concentrating on academics, and a persistent fear that the manipulated images could resurface at any time.

The two young men stood stone-faced throughout, flanked by their lawyers and parents, as they were called pedophiles, “sick and twisted” and perverted.

“I will never understand why they did this,” one victim told Judge Leonard Brown, saying it “destroyed my innocence.”

One young woman told Brown “how excruciating it is to bring these feelings up again and again.” Another choked back tears as she excoriated one of the defendants for expressing “fake empathy” as girls confided with him about their pain, before it became known that he had been part of creating and disseminating the images. Still another said all of her friends transferred schools, and that she “needed trauma therapy to even walk around my neighborhood.”

The defendants declined several opportunities to comment to the judge, who said he had not heard either boy take responsibility or apologize.

“This has been a regrettable, long, torturous process for everyone involved,” said Heidi Freese, defense attorney for one of the defendants. “There were very interesting, underlying legal issues surrounding the charges in this case and those will be decided on a different day in a different case.”

Brown ordered each to perform 60 hours of community service, have no contact with the victims and pay an unspecified amount of restitution. If they don’t have any additional legal problems, Brown said, the case can be expunged after two years.

As he imposed his sentence, Brown said that if they were adults, they probably would be headed for state prison. He said they should “take this opportunity to really examine” themselves.

The resolution of the Pennsylvania case comes days after three teenagers in Tennessee sued Elon Musk’s xAI, claiming the company’s Grok tools morphed their real photos into explicitly sexual images. The high school students are seeking class-action status to represent what the lawsuit says are thousands of people who were similarly victimized as minors.

The scandal in Pennsylvania led to a student protest, criminal charges against the two teenagers and the departure of leaders at the school, which says it has about 600 students K-12, class sizes averaging just 12 kids, and “an endowment in excess of $25 million.”

Nadeem Bezar, a Philadelphia lawyer who represents at least 10 of the victims, said Tuesday he expects to file a claim “against the school and anybody else we think has culpability in these deepfakes being created and disseminated.”

He said he has not yet seen the photos but expects the legal process to determine “exactly when and where and how the school knew, how the boys created these images, what platforms they used to create these images and how they were disseminated.”

As AI has become accessible and powerful, lawmakers across the country have passed laws aimed at barring deepfakes.

President Donald Trump signed the Take it Down Act last year, making it illegal to publish intimate images including deepfakes without consent, and requiring websites and social media sites to remove such material within 48 hours of being notified by a victim.

Forty-six states now have laws addressing deepfakes, with legislation introduced in the remaining four — Alaska, Missouri, New Mexico and Ohio — according to the consumer advocacy group Public Citizen. ____
