Brand Beckham Unveiled: Discover the Two Transformative Insights That Changed Everything

Ex-Hamas Hostage Eliya Cohen’s Joyful Wedding in Israel

0

Mazel tov indeed!

An Israeli couple, torn apart for over a year due to a Hamas-led attack, have joyously tied the knot after overcoming the chaos of the October 7, 2023, terror incident. Their story embodies a triumphant closure to a harrowing chapter and marks the beginning of a hopeful new journey together.

Eliya Cohen and Ziv Abud, who found themselves in peril at the Nova Music Festival when the attack by the Iran-backed group unfolded, celebrated their union in a memorable ceremony at Ronit Farm, Israel. The couple exchanged vows on Wednesday, surrounded by 1,000 delighted friends and family members.

Their journey to the festival began with Ziv’s nephew, Amit Ben Avida, and his girlfriend, Karin Schwarzman. However, as the terror commenced, they sought safety at a roadside shelter along Route 232, alongside many others who rushed for cover amid the violence.

Tragically, Avida and Schwarzman were among the 17 individuals who lost their lives in what is now somberly referred to as the “shelter of death.” Despite this immense loss, Cohen and Abud’s wedding stands as a testament to resilience and love in the face of adversity.

Abud hid among the dead bodies to evade capture, but Cohen was snatched by Hamas along with two other hostages.

The terrorists took Cohen, along with three others – including American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was executed by Hamas terrorists in August, 2024.

Cohen was held captive in Gaza for 505 days, enduring being chained, tortured, starved, burned and hung by his feet — all while suffering from an untreated bullet wound from the attack on the festival, where 370 innocent Israelis were slaughtered by Hamas gunmen and dozens were taken hostage.

Gruesome video released last June showed Cohen covered in blood in the bed of a white truck as the terrorists gleefully brandished their weapons and celebrated the capture of festivalgoers.

“[The terrorists] started taking people out, including Cohen, and then the shooting began. A lot of people fell on top of me and basically saved me. Only after three hours did I dare to get up, and then I saw Amit and Karin dead,” Ziv recalled to Ynet Global.

“I looked for Eliya and couldn’t find him. I thought they had murdered him, and only later did I see on Telegram the video showing that he had been abducted alive to Gaza.”

He was finally released in February 2025.

After Cohen’s abduction, Abud learned he had been planning to pop the question.

“His mother told me he had bought a ring — and told everyone except me. He wanted to surprise me.”

The couple was finally reunited against all odds, and are now looking toward a brighter future as husband and wife.

Iran’s Leadership Puzzle: Who Holds Power as the Ayatollah Fades?

0

In a compelling episode of the Daily Mail’s Deep Dive podcast, host Chris Pleasance engaged with special correspondent David Patrikarakos to unravel the mystery surrounding Iran’s ‘invisible’ leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

On March 8, Mojtaba was declared Iran’s supreme leader, following a week after the tragic demise of his father, Ali Khamenei, during US-Israeli airstrikes on February 28.

Mojtaba was reportedly at the compound during the attack. Sources familiar with his entourage revealed to Reuters that the explosion caused severe facial injuries and critically injured one or both of his legs.

After his leadership was televised over five months ago, Mojtaba has remained out of the public eye. Although there was speculation he would appear, he was conspicuously absent from his father’s funeral on July 5, where three of his brothers were seen in attendance, offering prayers beside the coffin.

On the latest Deep Dive podcast, host Chris Pleasance was joined by special correspondent David Patrikarakos to ask what has become of Iran's 'invisible' Ayatollah, Mojtaba Khamenei

In the latest Deep Dive podcast, host Chris Pleasance conversed with special correspondent David Patrikarakos, exploring the enigma of Iran’s elusive Ayatollah, Mojtaba Khamenei

Patrikarakos, who has been speaking to Western intelligence sources, set out the three theories circulating about Mojtaba’s whereabouts.

‘The first theory is that Mojtaba is alive and well, and that he’s running the war from a bunker,’ he said.

‘This is the line Iranian officials are peddling. President Masoud Pezeshkian claimed recently that Mojtaba is on the mend.

‘This theory holds that Mojtaba survived the bombing of his family largely intact. I think we can dismiss this as nonsense. It’s clearly not the case.

‘The second is that Mojtaba has fled to Russia. Russia has a long and ignoble tradition of sheltering foreign psychopaths. Right now, the ostrich-necked tyrant Bashar al-Assad is in Moscow, apparently playing video games for hours on end.

‘I don’t believe this either. The Iranians don’t run. People said Khamenei might flee, I knew Khamenei would die in Iran. So, I think we can dismiss this as well.

‘The third theory is that he’s barely alive, possibly incapacitated and that his statements are actually being drafted by someone else. Most likely, Ahmad Vahidi, commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guard.

‘This makes the most sense: if he were dead, I think they’d probably just say it.’

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was founded after the 1979 revolution as an elite force loyal to the regime itself, separate from Iran’s regular army.

Since his accession to leader was announced on state television five and a half months ago, no one has seen hide nor hair of Mojtaba

Patrikarakos believes IRGC leader Ahmad Vahidi, whom he describes as a hardliner, is now the real power in Tehran

It is now the most powerful institution in the country, controlling not just the military machine but vast swathes of the economy. It is the IRGC that has closed the Strait of Hormuz, attacking tankers and demanding fees from vessels attempting to pass through the world’s most important oil route.

Patrikarakos believes its leader Ahmad Vahidi, whom he describes as a hardliner, is now the real power in Tehran.

He said: ‘Vahidi is really important, he is embedded in both the military and political fabric of the country.

‘If you want to understand just how important a leader he is to the Iranians, Vahidi is kept well underground.

‘He is a serious man. This is a guy who they say played a leading role in the attack on a Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires in 1994, 85 people were killed. He’s one of five Iranians sought for that bombing.

‘This is a guy that was doing some really nasty stuff around the world. He’s a massive hardliner.’

Kai Trump Shares Heartfelt Journey Amid Vanessa’s Cancer Battle: ‘A Lot of Crying

0

Kai Trump has candidly shared the emotional challenges her family has faced amid her mother, Vanessa Trump’s, battle with cancer.

Earlier in May, 48-year-old Vanessa disclosed her diagnosis of breast cancer. By June, she revealed that she had undergone surgery and was gearing up for the next phase of her treatment journey.

Now, 19-year-old Kai is shedding light on how drastically the situation has affected their family dynamics, particularly as she was preparing to leave for college.

This week marked Kai’s inaugural semester at The University of Miami, a significant milestone for the young adult.

“It was emotional; there was a lot of crying in the week leading up to me leaving for school,” Kai confessed during an interview with Fox News.

‘[Me and my mom] would just be driving and we would just start crying together,’ Kai went on.

Luckily, Kai noted that she is not too far away from her home in Palm Beach, and said that her mom would come and visit her.

Kai added that she was ‘very lucky’ to be able to spend so much time with mom this summer, and branded her cancer battle as a ‘blessing in disguise’ since it gave them a chance to go to treatments together.

‘I was very lucky to spend a lot of time with her over the summer, because of cancer and going to treatments with her,’ Kai shared.

‘It was a blessing in disguise, because I was able to spend extra time with her that I would normally probably spend on the golf course.

‘It was nice to spend those extra hours with her throughout the day before going to college.’

During the interview, the pro golfer also gave an update on how her mom was feeling.

‘My mom, she’s doing a lot better,’ Kai vowed. ‘Kind of after treatment, she wasn’t feeling very good … but she’s getting a lot better now.’

In May, Vanessa announced her diagnosis to the world via Instagram, while adding that she had undergone a ‘procedure.’

‘I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,’ she said.

‘I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me.’

The mom-of-five added that she is ‘staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.’

‘Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express,’ she concluded.

In another message posted to her Instagram page on June 13, she told followers that she would be entering the second stage of her treatment.

‘I wanted to share an update on my cancer journey,’ she wrote. ‘Over the past four weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgery, and I’m grateful to be healing and moving forward.

‘Soon, I’ll be starting the second stage of my treatment. Sending love, strength and hope to everyone fighting this battle.’

Vanessa was married to Kai’s dad Donald Trump Jr from 2005 to 2018. In addition to Kai, they share Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 12.

Vanessa is currently dating golfer Tiger Woods, who has reportedly been an ‘amazing’ support for the mom-of-five throughout her diagnosis.

During a July appearance at the 2026 ESPY Awards, Kai hailed Woods as one of her biggest ‘inspirations.’

While she was on the red carpet, Kai was asked by Us Weekly who had inspired her over the past year, to which she took the opportunity to gush over the athlete.

‘Probably Tiger [Woods], he’s inspired me a lot, just [to] be a better person, a better golfer, and stuff like that,’ Kai said.

Kai, who is set to join the University of Miami’s women’s golf team this fall, also revealed that he has given her advice about playing golf.

The teen said that he told her to ‘keep being you and live life,’ adding: ‘He’s amazing.’

Taylor Swift Achieves Billionaire Status: Superstar Singer and Marketing Innovator

Taylor Swift has reached billionaire status, marking a significant milestone just 17 years into her illustrious music career, as reported on Thursday.

At 33, the Look What You Made Me Do hitmaker joins the elite ten-digit club, with Bloomberg revealing her net worth now stands at $1.1 billion.

Swift’s remarkable leap in net worth is largely attributed to her Eras Tour. This tour is not only a smashing success but is also on track to becoming the highest-grossing tour in history, further showcasing her enduring appeal.

Reaching this financial pinnacle is notable, as Swift is one of the rare individuals to achieve such wealth primarily through music and live performances.

However, one must question whether her ten-figure fortune is solely the result of musical success, or if it’s the culmination of over a decade of savvy business strategies and acumen.

Finally time for 1989: Taylor Swift finally re-released her 2014 hit album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on Thursday, sending fans into a frenzy

Original album sales

Swift primarily earned her millions from a successful music career, which she began at age 16 with her eponymous debut album.

Since then, her 10 studio albums have sold millions of copies both physical and digital.

In 2020, her albums Evermore and Folklore made up the bulk of her $23.8 million revenue, with Billboard calculating that the singer took home 46% of the royalties from sales and streaming, since she owned the masters.

The publishing rights that Swift owns for her previous albums are worth an estimated $200 million, according to Forbes.

Taylor’s latest album, Midnights, sold 6 million album equivalent units worldwide in the first two months of its release – making Swift the only artist to have five albums with more than 1 million units sold during release week, Universal Music Group say.

Re-recording sales boom

The Lover hitmaker has been busy re-recording her first six albums after a dispute with her old label Big Machine Records.

She has so far released re-recording of Fearless (2008), Red (2012), Speak Now (2010 and now her beloved 2014 album titled 1989, which dropped on Thursday night, which has sent fans into a frenzy.

Back in 2019 Taylor took to her Tumblr to reveal ‘bully’ Scooter Braun — who is the manager of Justin Bieber and former manager of Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato — acquired the label she was previously at Big Machine Records.

His company Ithaca Holdings LLC bought Big Machine Label Group for a reported $300 million. The deal included the master recordings of all six of her albums – all of her previous music and her legacy.

On her Tumblr post, Taylor slammed Scooter as well as Big Machine Label Group CEO Scott Borchetta and revealed she was not offered the opportunity to buy her own masters and that the former bullied her for years.

Braun then sold Swift’s masters to the private equity firm Shamrock Holdings in 2020 for a reported $300 million.

An angry Swift took to Twitter at the time to react to the ‘second time my music had been sold without my knowledge.’

She claimed to have received a letter from the firm that claimed ‘Scooter Braun had required that they make no contact with me or my team, or the deal would be off.’

Taylor also claimed that ‘Scooter Braun ‘will continue to profit off my old musical catalog for many years’ as part of the business deal.

Shamrock Holdings has since sold a minority stake to RidgeLake Partners.

Music stream royalties

Taylor is believed to be raking in £6.7million in streaming royalties every month after re-recording some of her earlier albums.

The Shake It Off singer is said to have already earned more than £5,000,000 in estimated royalties following the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in June.

According to the latest reports, her re-recorded albums have a combined streaming total of 6,872,886,786.

The singer-songwriter, who has the most Billboard Hot 100 entries out of any female artist in the world, earns an estimated £6,738,785 a month in royalties solely from her three re-recorded albums.

Sell-out concerts and tours

Bloomberg reported that the 53 concerts Swift performed in the United States this year ‘added $4.3 billion to the country’s gross domestic product.’

This is because the massive tour led to extensive travel, ticket sales and merchandising opportunities for her legions of fans.

The outlet notes their analysis was a ‘conservative’ one as it is strictly based on figures that are publicly known such as her real estate portfolio, streaming deals, etc.

Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in the United States in March following a now infamous Ticketmaster debacle last November that left many ‘Swifties’ without tickets and, instead, saw them snapped up by resellers.

The site had crashed and fans found themselves booted from the virtual queues.

Swift spoke out amid the chaos, telling her devout fanbase that she was just as ‘pissed off’ as everyone else is.

At face value, the ticket prices ranged between $49 to $499 – but, on resale sites like StubHub and SeatGeek, they were going for thousands of dollars.

SeatGeek told U.S. News in August that the average price of an Eras Tour resale ticket was $1,619.

The tour is predicted to net the star a staggering $4.1 billion – the most an artist has ever made from a single tour in history – according to the Washington Post.

Blockbuster Eras Tour film

Taylor’s already massive paycheck is also set to expand as the Eras Tour film hit theaters on October 13 after raking in over $80 million in advanced sales alone.

As of now, it has grossed a whopping $130million worldwide.

It was filmed during one of the six of her sold-out Eras Tour shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in August.

The film was a major coup for AMC. Taylor made the unusual move of negotiating directly with the theater chain to have it serve as her film’s distributor — skipping the usual middle man — after she and her family became frustrated with the demands of distributors she had been working with.

AMC has also been working out contracts with rival theater chains to allow them to show the film as well.

The movie also isn’t eligible for AMC’s A-list subscription plan, and the tickets are more expensive than usual, meaning that the theater chain — and Taylor — will be making an even bigger pile of cash than usual.

Sprawling property empire

Swift also has a real estate portfolio worth more than $150 million, including luxurious beachfront mansions and property worth $45 million in Tribeca, New York City, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Among her properties, Swift owns several units in a luxury-condo building in Nashville, Tennessee. She first purchased a penthouse at the Adelicia building when she was 19 years old for $1.99 million.

The Bad Blood singer also owns an estate in Forest Hills, Tennessee – worth an estimated $8 million.

In Watch Hill, Rhode Island, Taylor also owns a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom beachfront property, which she reportedly bought through an LLC for about $17.75 million in 2013.

The nearly 12,000 square-foot home is now valued at about $30 million.

In 2015, the pop megastar purchased the historic Goldwyn Mansion in Beverly Hills, California for $25 million.

The estate was built by Samuel Goldwyn, a Hollywood producer who was part of the famous Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film studio.

Swift restored the 1930s mansion to its former glory, and was granted permission to have the home pipped as a historic landmark.

Lucrative endorsement deals

According to Investopedia, Taylor has entered into partnerships throughout her career with major brands, such as; Coca-Cola, CoverGirl, Keds, AT&T, Target, and Sony Electronics.

Finance-savvy father

Taylor’s financial success could also be attributed to the direct influence from her father, Scott Swift.

Scott is a longtime Merrill Lynch (a Bank of America company) employee whose registered investment adviser The Swift Group is based in the family’s hometown of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.

A disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission lists him as linked to 10 companies affiliated with his daughter, according to Bloomberg.

This includes merchandising and rights-management businesses and entities that own her tour bus, two private jets and real estate.

Gainesville Felon Gets 46 Months for Drug, Gun Offenses

By Editorial Staff

In Gainesville, Florida, 20-year-old DaMorie Lamontay Miles has been handed a federal prison sentence of nearly four years for possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute and dealing with an unregistered firearm. This legal action was confirmed by John P. Heekin, the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida.

U.S. Attorney Heekin remarked on the case, underscoring its significance as another triumph for the Department of Justice. He reaffirmed the commitment made by former President Donald J. Trump and Attorney General Todd Blanche to leverage federal authority to ensure safe and drug-free communities for America’s citizens.

The Arrest and Subsequent Charges

Miles found himself in legal hot water following his arrest on September 3, 2025, in Gainesville. Arrested on state charges, he was accused of selling marijuana close to a school and operating a location for drug sales, activities uncovered during a house arrest when authorities executed a search warrant on his residence. Further complicating his legal troubles, Miles faced additional charges including attempted premeditated murder, shooting into a dwelling, and conspiracy to commit murder. These charges arose after local police alleged that he had directed two juveniles to fire into an occupied home.

Court records reflect that the defendant was communicating via text message and social media with others to buy and sell marijuana and to obtain a machine gun conversion device (MCD). The MCD and 600 grams of marijuana were found when the search warrant was executed at his residence.

“Our goal is to make Gainesville a safer place, and that means keeping dangerous drugs and illegal firearms out of the hands of those who would use them to harm others,” said Gainesville Police Chief Nelson Moya.

Miles’ sentence will run consecutive to another state sentence involving the possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and the possession of a weapon or ammunition by a Florida delinquent.

The case involved an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Gainesville Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Christie S. Utt.

Storms Leave NW Indiana Dark; Power Outages to Last Days

0

GARY, Ind. (WLS) — Efforts to restore electricity are underway across Northwest Indiana, yet officials warn that some areas may remain powerless for several more days.

It’s been over a week since severe storms wreaked havoc, cutting off power and leaving several counties in a precarious situation.

ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watch

NIPSCO has announced that areas including Gary should see their power restored by Tuesday.

The utility company reassures that they are diligently working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.

Yet, this offers little consolation to the thousands who have endured days without power, growing increasingly frustrated with the situation.

“We have no gas, no restaurants, no power. Now, we had to throw away everything at all refrigerators. And night is like Gotham City. You can’t see anything,” Gary resident Brittany Bankhead said.

SEE ALSO: Track power outages in your area with the ABC7 Chicago Power Outage Tracker

NIPSCO said more than 38,000 Gary customers were impacted by the August 11 storms.

The utility said before repairs could begin crews conducted an extensive damage assessment that included surveying 2,000 miles of power lines while dispelling claims on social media that restoration work is related to race or socioeconomic status.

“These aren’t simple repairs. These are lines that ordinarily take us, and systems that ordinarily take weeks or months that we are trying to accomplish in days or weeks,” NiSource Group Utilities President Melody Birmingham said.

Meanwhile people said the community is coming together and helping one another until the lights come back on.

Relief efforts continue in East Chicago.

Several groups are teaming up for a food giveaway at Greater Destiny Bible Church.

The food pantry runs from 9 a.m. until noon.

Then, a free community cookout runs from noon to four.

Other food giveaways are happening Thursday.

One starts at 8 a.m. at the Calumet Township Multi-Purpose Center in Gary.

Another begins at noon at Gospel Truth Apostolic Ministry in Gary.

And a third starts at 4 p.m. at Portage High School.

If you’re new to Hulu, the basic (with ads) price is $11.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.

If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. These bundles start at $12.99/month for ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu and goes up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max, all ad-free.
