Five Must-Watch Paranormal TV Shows for Every Enthusiast

0

Monsters, ghosts, extraterrestrials, urban myths, and mysterious noises in the dark—there’s something uniquely thrilling about dimming the lights and diving into a chilling paranormal series. Whether it’s about psychic phenomena, mediums, unexplained glitches, or captivating ghost stories, tales of the supernatural and unknown hold an irresistible allure, making them prime material for engaging television.

As anyone who’s spun chilling yarns around a campfire can attest, the finest paranormal TV shows don’t necessarily rely on flashy, high-cost effects or computer-generated imagery. Instead, they thrive on a masterful blend of mystery, suspense, and the enigmatic, which stirs the shadowy, forgotten corners of our imagination. This is why some of the most beloved series in the genre are often crafted with just a minimal crew and a few brave souls exploring deserted locales. Many of these classic shows continue to captivate audiences, even years after their original late-night debuts.

As someone who has been an avid follower of paranormal content—from ghostly encounters to UFO sightings—since the 1980s, I’ve practically seen it all in this realm. Whether your preference leans toward reality-infused excitement or scripted supernatural drama, here are five must-watch paranormal TV shows that deserve a place on your viewing list.

For those who enjoy a comedic twist on paranormal clichés, “Scare Tactics” is a hidden camera prank series that you won’t want to miss. Debuting in 2003, each episode involves a target set up by a friend, unknowingly thrust into a horror-inspired scenario, often revolving around a seemingly ordinary job or event they’re attending with their friend.

Similar to Amazon Prime’s comedic series “Jury Duty,” where everyone but the unsuspecting participant is in on the joke, “Scare Tactics” places its victim in outlandish situations—ranging from secretive government sites to eerie spas and viral outbreaks. As the scenario unravels into chaos, an actor in the sketch dramatically asks, “Are you scared?” The tension builds until the punchline is delivered: “Because you shouldn’t be! You’re on Scare Tactics!”

Scare Tactics

If you enjoy shows that parody all the best paranormal tropes, you’ll love “Scare Tactics,” the super addictive hidden camera prank show that first aired in 2003. Each episode features a victim set up by a friend to be placed into a scene inspired by some horror trope, often revolving around some type of gig work or event they’re supposed to be attending with their friend.

Much like Amazon Prime’s fake jury duty comedy docu-series “Jury Duty,” everyone but the victim is in on the gag as the unwitting mark finds himself or herself faced with a range of scenarios involving things like government black sites, spa centers fueled by human blood, viral outbreaks, UFOs, and mad scientists. As the scene deteriorates from sane to absurd and each victim begins to visibly spiral, one of the sketch actors will ask ominously, “Are you scared?” pausing just momentarily enough to elicit some level of response before finishing, “Because you shouldn’t be! You’re on Scare Tactics!”

A few familiar faces also add to the fun and nostalgia of this series, which was first hosted by the late Shannen Doherty, who died in 2024 at just 53, before being taken over by the hilarious Tracy Morgan after a season hosted by Stephen Baldwin. Viewers may also spy Judah Friedlander, Marc Evan Jackson from “The Good Place,” Lauren Ash from “Superstore,” or “Glee” actor Dot-Marie Jones in some of the sketches. There are even a few new episodes from the show’s 2024 Jordan Peele reboot season. Catch uncensored episodes of old “Scare Tactics” on YouTube and check out the newer ones on Peacock.

Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction

For more of the same spooky-but-low-intensity retro turn-of-the-millennium vibes, check out “Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction,” an anthology series that challenges viewers to guess which of its hard-to-believe stories are the real ones. The show’s first season is hosted by James Brolin, with “Star Trek” actor and director Jonathan Frakes taking over from the second season forward, Riker charm in full effect.

Episodes present five short stories that might be real but probably aren’t, all told through writing and acting of a quality ranging from campy to downright ridiculous. Many of the show’s stories deal with urban legends, even those that claim to be true. But as silly as they might seem, they’re silly in the same way stories told in a whispered hush at a slumber party are. Take the tale of the young woman who believes she is pregnant only to have a bouncing baby octopus removed from inside of her digestive tract — sure, it’s ridiculous, but it’s also absolute nightmare fuel. Between the Riker beard, the corny storytelling, and the instant gratification of spooky little low-effort shorts, this show is a guilty pleasure every paranormal fan should watch, and episodes are available to watch for free on YouTube.

The X-Files

Conspiracy theories might run rampant today, but there’s nothing quite like the thrill of falling down a spooky pre-internet conspiracy theory rabbit hole like the early 1990s theories that fueled the lore behind “The X-Files.” If you’re a fan of the paranormal and you’ve never had the pleasure of binging this excellent sci-fi/paranormal series, it’s essential viewing you won’t want to miss.

The primetime drama follows FBI agents Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) as they work together investigating the infamous “X-Files,” the designation for unassigned cases with a potential link to something unexplained — often allegedly supernatural or extraterrestrial in nature. Originally assigned to Mulder in hopes that he would debunk the files or in some way mitigate the profiler’s more paranoid tendencies, Scully serves as the skeptical character foil for her partner’s extreme and unconventional methods, all while frequently drawing on her medical background and conducting forensic autopsies as needed. Eerie, intense, charming, and occasionally funny, the moody drama weaves a complicated and elaborate mythology rooted in American extraterrestrial lore over the course of its run. But the show’s many monster-of-the-week episodes touch on a wide range of paranormal topics, covering everything from ghost ships and were-creatures to a nebulous underground carnivorous mushroom.

It’s hard to oversell how genre-defining this series proved when it first aired. During the show’s run, the series completely reframed everything we thought we knew about science fiction, horror, and scripted TV drama in general. Catch Mulder and Scully chasing down all manner of ghosts, aliens, and lizard people while rocking the sassiest pantsuits and a fog of sexual tension so thick it’s almost paranormal on Hulu in time for the upcoming Ryan Coogler “X-Files” revival.

Supernatural

Although the premise is completely different, “Supernatural” follows a similar format to “The X-Files” as the show follows a pair of brothers who travel the country investigating potentially paranormal cases — or as the brothers put it, “Saving people, hunting things — the family business.”

By and large, most investigations tend to tie into the show’s overarching mythology, a supernatural reality full of angels, demons, ghosts, and spiritual warfare. But the supernatural mythology is expansive enough to encompass a big tent full of spooky creatures and topics: things like djinn, werewolves, leviathans, shapeshifters, and even fairies.

Much like “The X-Files,” “Supernatural” is a mix of both mythology episodes and monster-of-the-week entries in its long 15-season run — enough episodes to take up your binge viewing time for a year. And while there are plenty of serious episodes, “Supernatural” is full of witty one-liners, running gags, and comedic or even downright silly episodes like the animated “Scooby-Doo” mystery. Created by Eric Kripke, the creator of Amazon Prime’s “The Boys,” the series is full of likable, well-rounded characters beginning with the show’s adorable Winchester brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), right down to the show’s fan-favorite villain Crowley (Mark Sheppard). You can check “Supernatural” out on Prime.

Twin Peaks

“Twin Peaks” is unlike just about anything else in its genre because it’s hard to even really define the show’s drama. Surprisingly cinematic and experimental for television by today’s standards, but especially back in 1990 when it first aired, “Twin Peaks” would change TV forever by keeping viewers locked into its central mystery and refusing to get boxed into any one genre.

Starring Kyle MacLachlan as FBI Agent Dale Cooper, the offbeat, ambient drama revolves around the eponymous small Pacific Northwestern town, a community full of bizarre and memorable characters, all holding onto their own buried secrets. The story begins with the discovery of the town’s prom queen, Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), murdered and wrapped in plastic along the cold beach. But what begins as a straightforward murder mystery slowly becomes infused with strange, paranormal, and supernatural elements from owls that are not what they seem to malevolent beings living in Twin Peaks to Dale Cooper’s visions of the otherworldly Black Lodge. Catch “Twin Peaks” on Paramount+ or watch for free on PlutoTV.

Vogue Williams Opens Up About Two Miscarriages and Joyful Yet Anxious Journey to Her Fourth Pregnancy

0

Vogue Williams has opened up about enduring two miscarriages before successfully conceiving her fourth child, including a particularly painful and devastating loss that occurred around a year ago.

The 40-year-old television presenter and her husband, Spencer Matthews, joyfully announced on Thursday that they are expecting another addition to their family.

In a heartfelt video shared on her YouTube channel, Vogue discussed her pregnancy for the first time, expressing to her audience the deep sense of loss she felt, describing the experience as if her body had betrayed her.

While Vogue and Spencer are thrilled about their growing family, the previous miscarriages have left her feeling anxious throughout this pregnancy.

The duo, who tied the knot in 2018, are already proud parents to Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three.

Vogue shared that her first miscarriage, which happened at around four weeks, was ‘really upsetting,’ but she and Spencer went on to welcome their daughter Gigi in 2020.

She said they suffered further heartache last year when she went for a 12-week scan after falling pregnant, only to be told it ‘wasn’t really a pregnancy’ as the embryo hadn’t grown.

The presenter and her husband Spencer Matthews shared the happy news on Thursday that they are set to welcome another child to their family

Vogue said she was ‘really embarrassed’ and ‘upset’ by the second loss, and she admitted she felt like ‘her body had failed her.’

Speaking about their baby news at the start of the video, Spencer shared: ‘We’re so happy. We feel very… hard this time round to get to where we wanted.

‘Definitely more bumps in the road in order to actually get pregnant, but obviously we feel really fortunate anyway to have three kids, but this one’s been harder to get to that, well this bit, the announcing, but also just to actually get to where we wanted to be, has been been rough.’

Vogue then opened up about her first miscarriage, sharing: ‘It happened to me before I had Gigi. It was so early on, like so so early on. We hadn’t had any scans. We hadn’t had anything like that.

‘I must have been maybe a month if even, and it was just one of those things and it was, it was awful, but it was everything happened quite quickly after it as well.

‘So, I never really kind of thought about it much. It was really upsetting at the time, but then I was pregnant quite quickly after, but it actually happened to me last year as well. And it was, just I was literally about to tell the kids.

‘You could kind of start telling I was three months and I just didn’t go for an early scan. I just never even thought about it because I kind of didn’t want to make a fuss – stupid now!’

‘I went to the 12 week scan on my own, I told quite a few people about it, like my parents, my brother, and my sister, and some people at work. And I just hadn’t told the kids.’

Vogue shared that when she visited the hospital for the 12-week scan, she immediately noted the concern from her doctor.

She explained: ‘And basically what had happened was, he had the pregnancy sack. I forget what the whole thing was called, but basically the embryo hadn’t grown, my body still thought it was pregnant.

‘And usually you just naturally get a miscarriage, but I didn’t. It just kept like it would have eventually happened, but it just didn’t at the time.

‘I was three months along and [the doctor] was just like, ”I’m really sorry, it’s just, it’s not it’s not really a pregnancy and you’re going to have to get well, there’s a couple of options.”

‘So the very nice people at Chelsea and Westminster NHS, thank you so much. They were really amazing with it.

‘Obviously when I found out I was like ”I just don’t want to have to feel pregnant anymore” because it was awful feeling it and not being it, because I still had the symptoms.

‘I was just like, I just want to start again and just not have to deal with it.

‘We were really upset. I was really upset. Stupidly I felt embarrassed having to tell everybody, and it’s not an embarrassing thing but that was just an emotion I had.

‘I was really upset and then I felt like ”oh God I have to now tell everybody who I’ve told” and I just feel stupid, like my body has kind of failed me kind of thing.

‘And then I went in to the doctor and they said, ”Well, we could give you tablets,” but I was going to Spain at the end of the week and I was just like: ”I just don’t want to have to change all that for the kids and for myself and I don’t want to be stuck here on my own and I just want to be done.’

‘So they offered me a DNC as well, which you go in, you have an operation.

‘It’s really quick. I went in and I did that and it was really quick and then the whole thing was just like, I was so happy to be going away because at least then I didn’t have to be, I was kind of able to just be on my own in my own thoughts and be able to think about it.’

Vogue then shared that her heartbreaking loss meant she had felt ‘nervous’ throughout her fourth pregnancy.

She continued: ‘I wasn’t sure if I was going to say it now, but I’m going to be just, I feel like this this pregnancy now I’m just always going to be, I’m always nervous, and sometimes I’m grateful that I feel so sick all the time because then I know it’s there and it’s what it should be.

‘I just thought that I would tell that story and hopefully it helps other people who that happens to and there can be light at the end of the tunnel.’

‘I wasn’t sure if we wanted to try again, because I just felt like, I really don’t want to have to go through that again.

‘I’m glad we did obviously, but now I just have this constant nervousness around hoping that everything is going to be all right.

‘I think that I was like. I got looked after very well. I know it doesn’t always happen with people, but I think that I was just I was in and out very quickly within two days and then I got to go away.

‘Because I got to go away, I got to just be with in my own thoughts. I wasn’t at work all day, so it was quite good and now I’m very happy that we are pregnant again.

‘But as I said, the nerves will kind of always be there. And I keep saying, and it’s so annoying, but I just I don’t know why.

‘I find I’m never sure if I should say this, because so many people go through really bad things like this and sometimes worse.

‘I have friends who have had very very late pregnancies go wrong like six months down the line. So it was three months and obviously it’s still heartbreaking for anyone. But I just feel lucky that we’re able to be here now and be pregnant again.

‘I’m starting to I feel like, when you get to that stage, 12 weeks – what’s it called? The second trimester. How do I forget? I’m forgetting everything!

‘I’m kind of getting to that stage of I’ve got my energy back. I’m starting to feel slightly better. So yeah, I just thought I would share that. I don’t really know how to end this, but thank you for listening to the vlog.’

Later in the video, Vogue shared that she was heading to the hospital for an early scan after her previous miscarriage, and all had gone well.

The video also featured the sweet moment Vogue and Spencer told their three children they were going to have a new baby brother or sister.

The couple shared their pregnancy news with their social media followers on Thursday, alongside sweet snaps of them from their family trip to St Barts.

In a series of sweet beach snaps, Vogue showed off her growing bump in a black and white bikini and matching sarong, while Spencer gazed adoringly at her.

Beaming for the cameras on the white sandy beach with their three children, the couple wrote: ‘BABY NUMBER 4 INCOMING… ❤️❤️.’

Podcaster Vogue and her former reality star husband Spencer, who share three children, Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three, tied the knot in 2018.

However, they suffered split rumours after they failed to publicly mark their seventh wedding anniversary – months after Spencer stepped down from their joint podcast, Spencer & Vogue, to focus on his own project, Untapped.

But Vogue previously insisted that she and her husband are ‘happy’ and that their marriage is secure, while dispelling past rumours of a potential crisis.

Speaking to The Sun, the presenter said she has reached a point in her life where only ‘their truth’ matters, stressing that they remain very much a happy couple.

She recalled: ‘When he left our podcast, everyone was like, ‘What’s going on?”

Vogue also admitted to worrying about their children hearing the ‘baseless and cruel’ gossip at school.

She had previously addressed the claims in an Instagram post, telling followers: ‘It’s with great sadness that I have to let you know that Spen and I are NOT breaking up!

‘I usually avoid addressing baseless and cruel rumours, but this just keeps coming up.

‘It’s disappointing to see this narrative being pushed almost daily when it’s absolutely not true, and much more importantly, I don’t want my children hearing these lies in the playground.

‘We’re not sure what the angle is or where it’s coming from, but the whole thing feels very strange and mean. We’re very happily married and in love and I hope posting the truth on my own platform might make it stop.’

Asked whether her denial had helped silence the rumours, she told The Sun: ‘Of course not! I’ll probably not bother next time.’

Revolutionary NFL Draft Rule Change Promises Record-Breaking Speed for 2026 Event

(NEXSTAR) – In an effort to captivate more viewers, the NFL is set to inject a burst of energy into this year’s draft by making the 2026 event the swiftest in its history.

The 91st edition of the NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 23, at 8 p.m. ET with the first round. Traditionally, teams had 10 minutes to make their selections—a timeframe that was extended from 15 minutes in 2008.

However, a recent change approved by the league will now reduce the decision time to a mere 8 minutes per team.

This decrease in lag time aims to maintain a brisk pace, potentially wrapping up the first round faster than ever before.

During last year’s 2025 NFL Draft, the first round ended around 11:30 p.m. ET, having started at 8 p.m. ET.

But with less time on the clock, will teams potentially miss getting their pick in time?

That hasn’t happened since the 2003 NFL Draft, when the Minnesota Vikings failed to get their pick in on time, and they had 15 minutes to decide.

When a team doesn’t get their pick off in time, they don’t lose their pick; it just allows the team picking next to also make their pick, turning the draft into a race of sorts. Whichever team gets its pick in first gets the player.

In 2003, the Vikings were so slow, due to a miscommunication about a trade, that two teams (the Jaguars and the Panthers) were able to get picks off before the Vikings finally made their selection.

We’ll see if history repeats itself at the 2026 NFL Draft set to begin Thursday, April 23.

Trump Targets Spain Over Iran and NATO Dispute as PM Sanchez Faces Political Scrutiny

0

Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, is carving out a distinct role for himself on the European stage as a counterbalance to U.S. President Donald Trump. However, this positioning has not come without its share of skepticism and critique from various quarters.

In an effort to consolidate his stance, Sanchez recently hosted a gathering of leftist leaders from across the globe in Barcelona. During this conference, he firmly rejected any increase in Spain’s NATO spending, setting his country apart from several of Trump’s policies. His dissent is not limited to budgetary allocations; Sanchez has also moved Spain into opposition against the Trump administration on an array of significant issues.

One of Sanchez’s most notable actions was his refusal to allow the United States to use Spanish military bases for refueling or staging operations related to the military campaign against Iran. He criticized the U.S. and Israeli military actions as illegal, a stance that has drawn attention because of his silence on Iran’s repression of protesters and its pursuit of ballistic missiles and nuclear capabilities.

Amidst rising tensions following the onset of conflict with Iran, Sanchez made his position clear: “We are not going to be complicit in something that is bad for the world and is also contrary to our values and interests, just out of fear of reprisals from someone,” he declared, reinforcing his message with the slogan “No to the war,” as reported by the Associated Press.

This bold stance at a NATO summit, where Sanchez was seen alongside President Trump and Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, underscores his intent to craft an independent foreign policy for Spain, one that resonates with his ideological commitments and national values.

On Saturday, Trump took aim at Sanchez’s policies in a Truth Social post, asking: “Has anybody looked at how badly the country of Spain is doing. Their financial numbers, despite contributing almost nothing to NATO and their military defense, are absolutely horrendous. Sad to watch!!!”

In March, Trump said he had asked Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent “to cut off all dealings with Spain.”

Critics charge that Sanchez, already well known for his fervently anti-Israel views, has increased his public pronouncements to take pressure off him due to a series of corruption scandals involving family members, something he and his supporters have denied.

Javier Negre, a conservative Spanish journalist and owner of La Derecha Diario and UHN Plus told Fox News Digital. “The stance of President Pedro Sánchez against President Donald Trump is neither improvised nor based on convictions. It is purely electoral marketing. He has realized that by confronting the most powerful president in the world and getting Trump to speak about him, he achieves two things: first, he positions himself in the media as the leading figure of the global left and globalism against the new right.”

Negre said Sánchez’s position also “diverts attention from the corruption scandals that have led to investigations involving his wife and his brother and to the imprisonment of people close to him

A Madrid judge formally charged Sanchez’s wife, Begona Gomez, with corruption Monday, creating a political storm for the PM, who’s already embattled in another corruption case involving his brother.

Gómez’s 39-page indictment follows a two-year investigation charging her with embezzlement, influence peddling in her position at Madrid’s Complutense University, corruption in business dealings and misappropriation of funds to advance her personal interests. She has denied all charges while her husband says the allegations are an attempt by right-wing parties to undermine his coalition.

The charges came as the couple was on a state visit to China last week, during which Sanchez said, “I find it very difficult to find other interlocutors, beyond China, who can resolve this situation in Iran and the Strait of Hormuz,” the Associated Press reported.

The complaint against Gomez was brought forward by anti-corruption group Manos Limpias.

The prime minister’s family scandals also encompass his brother, David Sanchez, who was implicated in a separate influence-peddling scandal for accepting a bespoke job with a regional government in 2017, right after the Spanish leader became the secretary-general of Spain’s Socialist Workers Party (PSOE).

From 2018 to 2024, Sanchez’s government reportedly authorized exports of over €6 million ($7.2 million) in dual technology equipment to Iran. While not a significant sum, the move, critics say, would contravene U.N.-approved sanctions and embargoes against Iran. Leading opposition Spanish politician Santiago Abascal denounced Sanchez in Spain’s Congress, accusing him of selling detonators and explosives to Iran.

Following the accusations, Shurat Hadin Israel Law Center filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court in the Hague against the Spanish PM on Friday, claiming Spain assisted the Ayatollah’s regime by transferring tech related to explosives at the tune of around $1.5 million in 2024 and 2025 despite international sanctions against the regime for the support of terrorism.

In March, Iran’s regime reportedly plastered a thank-you note with a picture of Spain’s Sanchez to a missile fired against Israel, according to footage from Iran-controlled Press TV obtained by the Middle East Media and Research Institute (MEMRI.)

The Spanish leader has also faced criticism for his anti-Israel views and its war in Gaza after the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas carried out the worst attack in the history of the Jewish state, killing 1,195 people and kidnapping 251 nationals and foreigners in 2023.

Sanchez has repeatedly called Israel a genocidal state, downgraded Spain’s diplomatic relations with Jerusalem, imposed a total arms embargo and sanctions on the Jewish state, recognized a Palestinian state, despite wide opposition, and along with Belgium, has received praise from Hamas due to his “clear and bold stance regarding the Gaza war” since the onset of the conflict.

Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arriving at EU Summit in Brussels

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrives for a EU Summit in Brussels, Thursday, March 21, 2024. European Union leaders are gathering to consider new ways to help boost arms and ammunition production for Ukraine. Leaders will also discuss in Thursday’s summit the war in Gaza amid deep concern about Israeli plans to launch a ground offensive in the city of Rafah.

While still popular among the left, the Spanish politician has seen a steady decline in his popularity over the past few months, with 61% of Spaniards holding an unfavorable view of their prime minister, according to a YouGov poll from March — his lowest approval ratings since assuming office in 2018.

Fox News Digital reached out to La Moncloa (the Spanish Prime Minister’s office) and to Spain’s foreign minister with a request for an interview or official comment regarding Sanchez’s diplomatic positions relating to the wars in the Middle East, the alleged sales of technology to Iran, the use by American forces of bases built under NATO in Spanish territory, and relations with the White House.

Spanish authorities told Fox News Digital, “the prime minister was not giving new interviews due to conflicts in his schedule” and that information regarding the prime minister’s positions “could be found in his many public declarations over the past few days.”

Tragic Incident: Toddler Fatally Wounded by Accidental Gun Discharge

Insets: Tashaun Adams and Selena Farrell. Background: Cops in Covington, Kentucky, investigate after a 3-year-old boy accidentally shot his 2-year-old brother to death (WLWT).

In Kentucky, a couple faced conviction after their 3-year-old son accessed a firearm from the dresser in his bedroom, resulting in the tragic accidental shooting of his 2-year-old brother.

Following a weeklong trial, Tashaun Adams, aged 23, and Selena Farrell, aged 25, were found guilty of reckless homicide in the death of Khalil Adams. The verdict was delivered on Friday, as reported by the Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney. The jury also found them guilty of child abandonment.

According to police, on a January afternoon in 2024, Adams and Farrell were asleep and not supervising their young children, who were left to play in their bedroom at the family’s Covington apartment. The older child was aware that his father kept a gun in the dresser of the room where he and his sibling slept.

“Daddy’s gun is in the drawer,” the young boy later explained to police officers, according to a criminal complaint cited by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The toddler took hold of the gun and began playing with it, leading to the accidental shooting of his brother. Khalil was immediately transported by paramedics to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.

Adams testified he was sleeping when he heard a gunshot. He ran to the bedroom where he saw Khalil on the floor.

“His eyes were closed,” he reportedly said. “It didn’t look like he was breathing.”

He has accepted responsibility for his actions.

“I blame myself for it every day,” he testified, the Enquirer stated.

While Adams stayed on scene, Farrell fled. She was arrested a few days later at a hotel where she told cops she “knew Khalil was going to die and wanted to attend his funeral,” local NBC affiliate WLWT reported.

Kenton County Commonwealth Prosecutor Rob Sanders told reporters at the time that the shooting, while tragic, was no accident.

“I really don’t like the term accident, because I think accidents, in my mind, are unavoidable,” he said. “This was not an unavoidable set of circumstances. This shooting death was caused by the fact that two adults left a loaded handgun with a round in the chamber within reach of a 3-year-old child that they did not supervise.”

Sanders delivered the closing argument to jurors where he reiterated the same point.

“This case is about the parents’ choices,” he said, per the Enquirer. “They made lots of mistakes, but they weren’t accidents.”

What’s worse is Adams had been warned before about the dangers of leaving an unsecured gun within reach of children. About two years before the shooting, cops reportedly found a gun — the same one used to kill Khalil — unsecured in a bedroom. A few months later authorities with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services once again discovered a gun within reach of the kids, prosecutors stated, according to the Enquirer.

Adams reportedly signed a prevention plan advising he would ensure a “safe and stable environment” where the kids were adequately supervised.

Per the Enquirer, jurors recommended Adams serve five years and Farrell seven years. A sentencing date has yet to be set.

They insisted viewers need only “look at how things have gone over the years.”

“People are finally starting to figure out that’s why Sutton and Erika are always kissing up to her,” they continued. “They don’t agree with her and everything she says. It’s more that they’re afraid of her.”

The insider noted that since Kyle was made an unofficial executive producer of RHOBH, this “has always been a thing.”

“While production didn’t think it would mean that much at first, it basically took on a life of its own and became a thing,” they elaborated. “It’s been talked about for years but is finally coming to the forefront because Dorit verbalized it and they aired it.”

On the season 15 finale, Dorit got into an explosive confrontation with Kyle and Erika after they skipped her book party.

The day after, Dorit explained that she had a “deep pain in her heart” about the Erika of it all, due to their friendship being a decade-long. While Dorit wondered what she did to get on Erika’s bad side, she surmised Kyle got into her ear. Dorit also noted her friendship with Erika must not have been as strong as she thought it was.

Later, at a party hosted by Kathy Hilton, Kyle wished Dorit well on her event, but stressed that even if things were great between them, it would have been a struggle for her to attend due to exhaustion. The pair continued to go back and forth, with Dorit insisting Kyle was getting a gang together to come after her.

Dorit then went off on Erika for not attending her event, but Erika kept cool, calm, and collected.

Based on the reunion trailer, things clearly have not gotten better between the trio since the show aired.

“She wants to play this villain now that everyone thought was cool,” Kyle is seen telling Erika. “She was smoking, so now she walks around puffing her cigarette, acting like an a**hole because people thought it was cool. You have fun with that.”

“This is about the three of us coming apart,” Erika then tells Kyle.

When on the reunion stage, Dorit also points a finger at Kyle, accusing her of going “into this season with a plan.”

“Are you kidding me?” Kyle asks her.

“Saying that I’m manic? Saying that I’m erratic?” Dorit responds.

Dorit also is seen apologizing to Erika, and Erika questions its sincerity.

“No, Erika. I’m a cold-hearted f*cking c*nt,” Dorit tells her.

The three-part RHOBH reunion begins airing Thursday, April 23, at 8/7c on Bravo.

Why Kerry Washington’s Kids Missed the ‘Scrappy Hustler’ Gene: A Revealing Insight

Kerry Washington is providing an uncommon peek into her role as a mother.

In a recent chat on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, the star of Imperfect Women candidly discussed her experiences raising her three children alongside husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

Reflecting on her own upbringing in the Bronx, the actress pondered how her children will develop the same ambitious spirit she acquired during her youth.

“I often think about this because they don’t have the experience of growing up in the Bronx like I did,” she explained. “They weren’t born in a place that naturally fosters that scrappy, hustler mentality I developed, so I wonder where they’ll find their own drive.”

Despite these musings, Washington noted that she already observes signs of resilience in her children, particularly in their athletic pursuits.

Still, Washington said she already sees signs of resilience, especially when it comes to athletics.

“My kids are really resilient, and I see it mostly in sports,” she explained. “That’s like their opportunity.”

The actress described herself as a very involved parent on game days, admitting she brings a lot of energy from the sidelines.

“I go to the games,” she said, adding with a laugh that she’s a “loud cheerer,” much to their embarrassment.

When it comes to handling wins and losses, Washington said she allows her children to process things in their own way.

“[I] try to figure out how they’re feeling about it, and ask a lot of questions,” she said. “I don’t try to make it better immediately.”

She continued, “If there was a visual metaphor for it, I try to sit on the bench with them and just look where they’re looking. Just give it some time.”

Washington also shared that her children—Isabelle, Caleb, and her stepdaughter—bring a sense of humor that keeps her grounded. She said she enjoys their quick wit, especially when they tease her in a playful way.

“I want to be really clear. I love when my kids get a good burn on me,” she said, noting that while respect is a priority in her home, playful jokes are welcome.

“I’m not saying that I want my kids to be disrespectful,” she added. “But a good, well-timed comedic burn—it just makes me love them more.”

For Washington, those moments show that “they feel safe with me. They feel comfortable flexing their own mental prowess. I just love that. I love also that it humbles me. My kids are so not impressed with me, which I love.”

Trump Warns Iran Over Ceasefire Violations in Strait of Hormuz

0

Donald Trump has once again issued a stern warning to Iran over its alleged violation of the ceasefire, accusing it of targeting European vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

The former president cautioned that he would instruct the U.S. military to dismantle “every single power plant and every single bridge” in Iran should they reject the forthcoming peace agreement.

At the age of 79, Trump has dispatched envoys to Pakistan to engage in talks concerning the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict. Tensions have been high since February 28 when the U.S. initiated military actions in Iran.

On Sunday, Trump took to Truth Social to claim that Iran had “fired bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz” at both a French vessel and a UK freighter.

He condemned the incident as “a total violation” of the ceasefire agreement, which had been in effect for two weeks after its announcement on April 8, and issued a renewed threat in response.

‘We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran,’ Trump wrote.

‘NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years.

‘IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!’

JD Vance will lead the next round of peace talks in Islamabad, Pakistan, ahead of the ceasefire expiration date on Wednesday, according to ABC News.

Trump told Fox News that US Special Envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff would also be part of the American delegation.

According to Fox, the president warned that this will be Iran’s last chance to agree to a peace deal.

‘If Iran does not sign this deal, the whole country is getting blown up,’ he said, per the outlet.

Iran doubled down on its pledge to restrict ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz as long as the US blockade of Iranian ports remains in place, as mediators scrambled to extend the ceasefire.

The dueling blockades have complicated Pakistani-led mediation attempts and raised questions about whether the two-week truce can be extended.

‘It is impossible for others to pass through the Strait of Hormuz while we cannot,’ Iranian parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said in an interview aired on state television late Saturday.

Qalibaf, who is Iran’s chief negotiator in talks with the United States, slammed the US blockade as a ‘naive decision made out of ignorance’.

He said Iran still was seeking peace despite deep-seated distrust of the United States.

‘There will be no retreat in the field of diplomacy,’ he said, acknowledging that the gap between the two sides remained wide.

Iran had announced the strait’s reopening after a 10-day truce between Israel and the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon took hold on Friday.

But after U.S. President Donald Trump said the U.S. blockade of Iran’s ports ‘will remain in full force’ until Tehran reaches a deal with the United States.

Iran said it would continue enforcing its restrictions in the strait.

After a brief uptick in transit attempts on Saturday, vessels in the Persian Gulf held their positions, wary after two India-flagged ships were fired on mid-transit and forced to turn around.

Their retreat returned the strait, through which roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil trade normally passes, to its pre-ceasefire status quo, threatening to deepen the global energy crisis and push the parties toward renewed conflict.

For Iran, the strait’s closure – imposed after the U.S. and Israel launched the war on Feb. 28 during talks over Tehran’s nuclear program – is perhaps its most powerful weapon, threatening the world economy and inflicting political pain on Trump.

For the United States, the blockade squeezes Iran’s already weakened economy and pressures its government by denying it long-term cash flow.

Cruise Ships Boldly Navigate Through the Strait of Hormuz, Challenging IRGC’s Presence

0

Recent events have highlighted a significant challenge in confronting Iran’s disruptive actions in the Strait of Hormuz: the reluctance of some nations to defend both justice and their economic interests, including the safety of their own ships. This hesitance has been glaringly evident, exposing a lack of resolve within the international community.

Bahrain attempted to address this issue with a resolution, but it faced obstruction at the United Nations. The vote against the resolution was particularly disheartening, revealing an inability to stand up to a state accused of sponsoring terrorism and underscoring a broader ineffectiveness on the global stage.

Instead of decisive action, there was an abundance of rhetoric about potential responses following any military engagements. Such discussions offered little in terms of immediate solutions.

Ironically, as reported, one vessel, the Celestyal Discovery, demonstrated more courage than many of these hesitant nations. The cruise ship boldly navigated the Strait on Friday, opting for the southern passage near Oman, setting an example of resilience and determination.

Thanks for nothing.

The funny thing was that, as we reported, one cruise ship, the Celestyal Discovery, was braver than any of these quivering states that don’t want to put anything on the line. The Discovery made it through the Strait on Friday, taking the southern route past Oman.
