Rebel Wilson was rushed to hospital after a stunt went horribly wrong

The 43-year-old actress disclosed that while shooting the next film Bride Hard on Thursday, she was hurt in several ways.

Rebel posted a picture of her bloody nose on social media while she was waiting in A&E.

She revealed to her followers that the mishap occurred at four in the morning while filming a night scene in Savannah, Georgia.

“NOT the way I wanted to end this movie,” the Bridesmaids actress captioned the picture.

“After a stunt accident at 4am, I received three stitches and was hospitalized last night.”

Rebel announced earlier this year that she had been engaged to her partner Ramona Agruma following a passionate proposal at Disneyland.

They were surrounded by vibrant pink rose petals as the Pitch Perfect star shared images from the memorable occasion.

She added the following caption to the picture: “We said YES!

“We appreciate Bob Iger and the amazing team at Disneyland and @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise, as well as @tiffanyandco for the beautiful ring!”

Rebel and the crew had made a unique area with rose vases in front of Disney’s famous palace to make the occasion ideal.

Rebel previously revealed their relationship (and her bisexuality) in June 2022 with the caption: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove.” Disney has a special place in the couple’s hearts.

The joyful news was announced not long after they had their first child collectively through surrogacy in November 2022.

Royce Lillian is the name of the baby girl, who surprised fans by arriving unexpectedly.

Danniella Westbrook Surgery

She has had a dramatic transformation since she first appeared on our screens back in 1990.

From liposuction to thread lifts, Danniella – who shot to fame as fresh-faced Sam Mitchell on EastEnders – has undergone countless cosmetic procedures over the years after her septum infamously collapsed due to cocaine use.

Drug abuse caused Danniella’s septum to rot away by 1999, and her EastEnders scenes had to be shot from above to conceal her nostrils.

A now-famous photo of her at the British serial Awards revealed just how much of her nose had rotted away from the drugs, forcing her to leave the serial as her partying and addiction took over her life.

Speaking on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, the celebrity said: “When I got over a drug addiction, I then swapped that addiction for a cosmetic surgery addiction.” The actress then started to undergo a number of cosmetic surgeries to restore her nose.

Eight boob jobs

She has revealed her new boobs for the first time after having surgery to make them ‘four sizes bigger’.

The EastEnders legend, 49, flew to Turkey to have her eighth boob job.

When she made an appearance on Celebrity Botched Up Bodies on Channel 5, she described how she went from a 34B to a 34D and back up to a 34DD.

She acknowledged ignoring her surgeon’s advice when she asked him to enlarge her bust because she wanted “huge footballs” despite his concerns.

“He stated you’re too little, your body shape isn’t right, and this won’t look properly… I didn’t care, though, and I pleaded with him to do it, she said.

“I thought footballs were great, but I want huge ones.”

Liposuction on knees

Many choose to have liposuction on their tummy or bum when it comes to this procedure.

Danniella, though, has experienced it in her knees in addition to her lips, cheeks, and knees.

“I underwent cosmetic surgery.” I haven’t needed a facelift, an eye lift, Botox, or knee liposuction, she previously admitted to The Sun.

Although I’d like to think I wouldn’t need plastic surgery again, I probably would.

Screws instead of teeth

Danniella was left with screws instead of teeth after her cheekbones “wasted away” as a result of having osteoporosis, a disease that weakens bones.

She has consistently maintained that osteoporosis was not brought on by drug use but rather a failed operation in 2015.

The celebrity previously revealed that although her full denture is in place, it is resting on the roof of her mouth.

She has suffered from health condition osteoporosis

She told The Mirror, “They need to remove a piece of bone from my skull and insert a plate into my face, but they currently have nothing to attach the plate to because the bone isn’t strong enough.”

In 2016, while competing on Celebrity Big Brother, Danniella was dragged from the house to need emergency dental care because she was in excruciating agony.

They brought her out of the house three times to the dentist, which is against protocol, because the pain was so excruciating because the bone hadn’t closed around the screws, she claimed.

She developed septicemia as a result and spent seven weeks in the hospital.

“I did nearly die, I had two lots of IV drips on each side and then they took all my teeth out again and gave me this denture which has broken my heart because I didn’t need all of my teeth out in the first place,” she said.

Rib inserted into her cheek

She had reconstructive surgery last year and had a piece of her rib implanted in her face.

After osteoporosis eaten away her cheeks and mouth in 2018, she has previously undergone a rib insertion treatment.

The celebrity underwent a vast series of procedures, some of which included exchanging her teeth, including a horrifying-sounding process.

“People send me messages like, ‘You’re so ugly, you’re an addict, you should just go and kill yourself,”

I’ve also had messages saying they are glad I’m not coming back to EastEnders because no one wants me scaring their kids on the telly.”

She added: “I’ve got to a point where looking like this upsets me, so I’m going to make a change — not because of what others think but so I can be happy with the way I am.

“It will change the way I look but also help my breathing and sinus issues.”

The actress flew to Turkey earlier this year for her fifth cosmetic reconstruction procedure.

She got a fat transfer as well as a surgical thread lift, a procedure in which temporary stitches are used to create a “lift” in the skin.

“I had a surgical thread lift where they put over 1,200 threads into my face,” Danniella said to OK! Magazine in May.

“My visit there was intended to have them repair my nose, but they haven’t yet done so. They tried to straighten my nose with 200 threads, but it didn’t work. I consequently feel like I wasted my time.

“I also had fat harvesting [a fat transfer],” she continued. They removed the fat from my

back, my sides, and my stomach, and put it into my face to make it more symmetrical.”

However, she admitted that she regretted the surgery and described the results as a “living nightmare”.

What Happened To Mandy Moore Son: His Gianotti-Crosti Syndrome Revealed

Mandy Moore has revealed that her two-year-old son Gus has Gianotti-Crosti syndrome, a common pediatric skin disorder.

The 39-year-old This Is Us actress posted pictures of her eldest son Gus’ leg rashes along with a description of how he handled the issue.

“This sweet boy woke up on Saturday morning with a crazy rash,” she wrote. Perhaps an eczema flare, we reasoned. Oak poison? Allergy. We did everything we could to help him get rid of the itch while trying to figure out what it might be.

‘Went to the emergency room. Pediatrician. Pediatric dermatologist and dermatology. He continues to smile, laugh, and live like the rockstar he is throughout.’Turns out it’s a viral childhood rash that just spontaneously appears called Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. It sometimes accompanies a cold but not in Gus’s case. It’s all over his legs and feet (ouch) and the backs of his arms but nowhere else.

Only a steroid cream and Benadryl at night are recommended. And it can last six to eight weeks. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

“This parenting thing is so strange and difficult, and at times you feel so helpless (yes, I’m incredibly grateful that it’s only an itch on my skin).” Kids are tough, so as long as he keeps grinning, everything will be fine.

According to RareDiseases.net, Gianotti Crosti syndrome (GCS) is an uncommon juvenile skin illness that causes blisters and a papular rash on the skin of the legs, buttocks, and arms.

Skin lesions frequently persist for several weeks and last at least 10 days.

The lesions are typically preceded by an underlying illness (typically a virus), which may result in concomitant symptoms such as sore throat, low-grade fever, or upper respiratory infection symptoms.

This comes after Moore used her Sunday to reflect on her experience potty training Gus.

On her fourth day of potty training in August, the son she shares with husband Taylor Goldsmith, the mother of two posted a fresh selfie in which she appeared to be somewhat frustrated.

“Day 4, fellas. The truth. Potty training is WILD,’ Moore wrote in her Sunday afternoon Instagram story.

It’s just difficult to see the end of the tunnel. It’s incredible how we all figured this out,” Moore concluded.

‘Hats off to anyone who has walked this path,’ Moore concluded her post.

She recently opened up about how much her sons Gus, two, and Ozzie, seven months, truly mean to her.

Who Was Randy Meisner? Wife, Children And Net Worth 2023

0
Who Was Randy Meisner? Wife, Children, And Net Worth 2023. The Eagles co-founder and singer, 77, died on Wednesday night in Los Angeles of complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Who Was Randy Meisner?

Randall Meisner was a founding member of the Eagles and an American musician who lived from March 8, 1946, to July 26, 2023. Meisner played bassist and backup high-harmony vocals as a group member and session musician throughout his entire professional musical career. He co-wrote and sang the Eagles’ popular song “Take It to the Limit.”

From 1961 through 1965, Meisner sang and played bass in a local band called The Dynamics (later The Drivin’ Dynamics).

Meisner founded the Eagles in September 1971 alongside Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Bernie Leadon.

The group joined with David Geffen’s new record company, Asylum Records, and their self-titled debut album was released in 1972.

The Eagles’ first million-selling single, “Take It to the Limit,” the third song to be released from One of These Nights, was written, co-written, and/or featured lead vocals by him on each of the band’s first five albums. He often played bass and performed backing vocals for the band. In addition to “Try and Love Again,” “Is it True?” “Take the Devil,” and “Tryin’,” he also composed those tunes. Together with Frey and Henley, he co-wrote “Certain Kind of Fool” and sang lead.

Meisner experienced weariness and ill health during the band’s lengthy, frequent tour in 1976–1977 in promotion of the record Hotel California. The tour lasted more than eleven months.

Meisner opted not to perform the song as an encore during their concert in Knoxville, Tennessee, since he had been up late and had the illness. As a result, Frey and Meisner got into a heated argument backstage.

Meisner was expelled from the band following the argument, and he later remarked: “That was the end. I genuinely felt like I belonged to the group and was not excluded from it.

After the last concert of the tour, Meisner made the decision to quit the group and go back to Nebraska to be with his family. On September 3, 1977, he gave his last performance in East Troy, Wisconsin. Timothy B. Schmit, the same player who had succeeded him in Poco, took over for Meisner in the band.

After his departure from the Eagles, Meisner went on to release solo albums in 1978 (Randy Meisner) and 1980 (One More Song).

Randy Meisner’s Wife And Children

He married his high-school girlfriend, Jennifer Lee Barton, in 1963, and they had a son, Dana Scott Meisner in November 1963. They later had two more children, twins- Heather Leigh and Eric Shane Meisner, born in May 1970, before divorcing in 1981.

Meisner later married his girlfriend of twelve years, Lana Rae, in November 1996. The marriage lasted until her death in 2016.

Randy Meisner Death Cause: Co-Founder Of The Eagles Died At 77

He was a founding member of the Eagles who added high harmonies to such favorites as ‘Take It Easy’ and ‘The Best of My Love’ and stepped out front for the waltz-time ballad ‘Take It to the Limit,’ has died, the band said Thursday.

The Eagles released a statement on Meisner’s passing on Wednesday night in Los Angeles due to complications from chronic obstructive lung disease. He was 77.

The bassist had suffered from a number of illnesses in recent years, and in 2016, his wife, Lana Rae Meisner, inadvertently shot and killed herself.

According to court documents and remarks made during a 2015 hearing in which a judge ordered Randy Meisner to get continuous medical care, Meisner had been identified as having bipolar disorder and serious alcohol problems.

The baby-faced Meisner joined Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Bernie Leadon in the early 1970s to establish a classic Los Angeles band and one of the most well-known groups in history. Former bandmate Don Felder referred to him as “the sweetest man in the music business.”

The Eagles released a statement that read, “Randy was an integral part of the Eagles and instrumental in the early success of the band.”

“Take It to the Limit,” his hallmark song, showcases his incredible vocal range.

Meisner, a bashful Nebraskan caught between celebrity and family life, had been sick and homesick during the ‘Hotel California’ tour (his first marriage was dissolving) and was reluctant to be in the spotlight for ‘Take It to the Limit,’ a showcase for his nasal tenor.

During a performance in Knoxville, Tennessee, in the summer of 1977, Meisner’s objections so incensed Frey that the two engaged in an argument backstage and Meisner quickly fled. Timothy B. Schmit, who succeeded him, continued with the band for decades, along with Henley, Walsh, and Frey, who passed away in 2016.

Meisner never achieved the same level of fame as the Eagles as a solo artist, but he did have singles with “Hearts On Fire” and “Deep Inside My Heart” and contributed to albums by Walsh, James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, and other artists.

Even though Meisner had played on all but one of the Eagles’ earlier studio recordings, they resumed touring in 1994 after a 14-year sabbatical. He did perform “Take It Easy” and “Hotel California” with the Beatles in 1998 when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He spent ten years performing with the World Classic Rockers, a traveling band that featured Donovan, Spencer Davis, and Denny Laine at various points.

Meisner was married twice, the first time when he was still in his teens, and had three kids Dana Scott Meisner born in November 1963 and twins Heather Leigh and Eric Shane Meisner, born in May 1970 with his first wife Jennifer Lee Barton. He later married his girlfriend of twelve years, Lana Rae, in November 1996. The marriage lasted until her death in 2016

Dangers Of Much Sugar Intake

0

Dr. Hu says that an increased risk of heart attack and stroke is associated with the effects of excessive sugar consumption, including higher blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain, diabetes, and fatty liver disease.

Your immune system can be impacted by only one sugary beverage for hours after consumption.

When you consume too much sugar, bacteria and viruses can flourish inside of you and sugar harms your innate immune system. Due to this, those who have diabetes are more susceptible to gangrene and infections.

Sugar damages your innate immune system, and too much sugar inside you allows bacteria and viruses to thrive. [File image]

When you consume too much sugar, bacteria and viruses can flourish inside of you and sugar harms your innate immune system.

According to a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the immune system can become compromised with just 75 grams of sugar. Together, a sweet drink and a chocolate bar have that much sugar.

If you don’t eat any more sugar after you consume them, it takes your body several hours to recover. It is a given that your immune system will be weakened even if you follow all the appropriate steps, like getting eight hours of sleep each night, working out frequently, and eating well.

AVOID ALL OF THE TRICKSY SUBSTITUTES

MANY forms of sugar are natural, meaning grown and not manufactured, so ‘all-natural’ products can contain tons of sugar — and it all has the same effect.

Anything in an ingredient list that ends in ‘-ose’ is a kind of sugar. Food firms sometimes sneak in multiple -oses, including dextrose, fructose, galactose, glucose and maltose. All sugar.

Common substitutes and synonyms for sugar include agave nectar, brown sugar, caramel, carob syrup, caster sugar, coconut sugar, confectioners’ sugar, dextrin, fruit juice, golden syrup, maltodextrin and maple syrup. Watch out for them all.

Even vegan processed food should be avoided at all costs.

Inflammation can occur for reasons other than only trauma, infection, or stress. Ultra-processed foods are a culprit that we come across every day but appear to take little notice of.

They are loaded with sugars, stabilizers, preservatives, emulsifiers, and artificial flavors; when these chemicals are combined with ultra-processed seed oils and other types of sugar, inflammation may be exacerbated.

Store-bought bread, cookies, protein bars, plant-based processed foods, and frozen dinners are examples of heavily processed foods.

Dangers Of Much Sugar Intake

These unexpected sugar sources add up quickly. The average American eats 126 grams of sugar a day — and the average American child eats even more.

All that sugar is in large part responsible for what doctors refer to as “the diseases of civilization:”

  • Obesity
  • heart disease
  • hypertension
  • type 2 diabetes
  • epithelial cell cancers
  • inflammatory diseases (including autoimmune diseases, bowel disorders, osteoporosis, infertility, and more)
  • Premature Aging
  • Cognitive Decline

What Makes Sugar So Dangerous

Sugar causes a number of harmful chemical reactions in your body as soon as it is consumed. Sugar depletes minerals and naturally occurring antioxidants like glutathione, increases stress hormones and stimulates the synthesis of insulin. Sugar promotes stress, inflammation, and oxidative damage.

These consequences are the main reason why consuming sugar on a regular basis might result in a variety of chronic illnesses.

There are numerous sugar-free and low-carb diet options available to reduce and avoid sugar. According to studies, a low-carb, high-fat ketogenic diet might lessen sugar cravings while easing or even curing illnesses and other common issues brought on by excessive sugar consumption.
