Kyle Aims to Mend Friendship Rift with Dorit

Kyle Richards Says She Wants to “Repair” Her Relationship with Dorit Kemsley If She Returns to RHOBH Next Season, and Shares the Last Time They Spoke, Plus Why Kyle Was Recently “Not Happy” with Mauricio

Kyle Richards expresses her desire to mend fences with Dorit Kemsley, hoping to restore their friendship if she returns for the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle also divulged the last time they exchanged words, while discussing a recent disagreement with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.

During the previous season, Kyle’s friendship with Dorit deteriorated amid ongoing tensions. This rift emerged as Dorit grappled with the initial stages of her divorce from PK Kemsley—a close friend of Kyle’s. Simultaneously, Kyle faced her own marital challenges during her separation from Mauricio, although neither couple has taken steps to legally divorce.

At the premiere event for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, Kyle told Us Weekly, “If I’m coming back [next season], I aim to fix things with Dorit.” Eager to move forward, Kyle hopes to bury past grievances, address unresolved issues, and leave behind any hurt caused by words or actions from the last season.

Kyle claimed she hasn’t heard from the costar. She did, however, reach out to Dorit to “congratulate her” over her book release. “Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything,” she said.

Kyle claimed that Dorit is still important to her, and she hopes to support her throughout her divorce from PK.

“It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family,” said the star. “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.”

Speaking to Virtual Reali-Tea, Kyle shared her reaction to Mauricio and Alexia Umansky filming Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test together.

“My first thought was, ‘I’m going to kill you, Mauricio,’” said Kyle. “I was actually not happy at all. I was so worried about Alexia.”

The competition show is known for its dangerous and grueling challenges.

“I knew that [Mauricio] would do well and whatever, but I was really worried about my daughter, and I didn’t like that she got sucked into that,” Kyle added. “But she was so excited to do it, and she’s the most adventurous like that, like him, where my other girls are more scared, nervous types like me.”

Kyle said she had “a lot of sleepless nights” while Alexia filmed.

“I kept texting the producer saying, ‘Please, I need updates. Just tell me my daughter is okay … Just give me something,’” she explained.

Global Football Rift: UEFA, CONCACAF, AFC Slam FIFA’s ‘Deception’ in World Cup Controversy

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is embroiled in controversy, as leading soccer federations, including UEFA, CONCACAF, and the AFC, have condemned his proposal to commercialize a stake in the World Cup, labeling it a “fundamental breach of trust” with FIFA’s core constituencies.

A fervent “open letter to the football family,” released on Monday, saw UEFA, CONCACAF, and the AFC collectively rebuke Infantino’s move. The letter underscores that “once trust is shattered by deceit, particularly when an individual prioritizes personal authority over the collective good, the responsibility entrusted has been forsaken.”

These influential bodies preside over soccer in different regions: UEFA supervises European soccer, CONCACAF manages the sport across North, Central America, and the Caribbean, while the AFC is responsible for soccer affairs in Asia.

Deadly Ukrainian Drone Strike Hits Nizhnekamsk, Killing 12

0

In a significant escalation, a Ukrainian drone strike on Monday targeted the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk, resulting in the deaths of 12 individuals and injuring 39 more, regional authorities in Tatarstan confirmed.

Recently, Ukraine has intensified its focus on Russian oil installations, utilizing long-range drones in almost daily attacks. This sustained campaign is contributing to fuel shortages across Russia, hampering its refining capabilities, and stirring concern among its citizens.

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine asserts that these measures aim to compel Russian President Vladimir Putin into negotiations to bring an end to his protracted invasion, now surpassing four years.

The drone assault on Nizhnekamsk occurred on Monday morning, described as “massive” by Rustam Minnikhanov’s press service, the head of Tatarstan. The attack targeted both industrial and civilian areas, though additional specifics were not provided.

At present, Ukrainian officials have refrained from making any public statements regarding the incident.

Nizhnekamsk is roughly 750 miles east of the Ukrainian border and has a population of about 240,000. The city is an important oil refining hub, home to two refineries and a petrochemical plant.

Ukraine’s domestically developed long-range drones have flown increasing distances deep inside Russia, with some now reaching Siberia, around 1,200 miles from the countries’ border.

“We do deliver entirely justified responses, and every Russian strike will be met with our response. Russia’s war will be felt more and more at their own home – in Russia,” Zelensky said late Sunday on social media.

“The only reason this is still continuing is Russia’s unwillingness to end this war.”

Russia has also regularly battered Ukraine from the air using missiles, powerful glide bombs and drones, hitting civilian areas and causing thousands of civilian casualties, according to the United Nations.

The World Health Organization’s European office said Monday that one of its warehouses in the central Dnipro region of Ukraine had been struck twice in less than 24 hours.

The attacks destroyed emergency supplies worth an estimated $500,000 that were intended for front-line health facilities, it said in a statement.

No casualties were reported.

Capturing Lilibet and Archie’s Iconic Red Hair: Memorable Moments Revealed

Though red hair is not a common sight in the British royal lineage, Prince Harry more than compensates for its rarity. The Duke of Sussex carries the ginger gene so robustly that both his children have inherited his vibrant trait. Meghan Markle’s dark brunette genes seemingly didn’t stand a chance against the formidable redhead legacy, evidenced in the striking hair color of Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie. Lilibet’s hair blazes in a brilliant shade of fiery red, while Archie sports a rich, deep copper mane.

The redheaded lineage seems to draw more from their late grandmother’s family. While Princess Diana herself was a blonde, her siblings, Sarah and Charles Spencer, were known for their red locks, a trait that Harry humorously acknowledged on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in 2023. He acknowledged, with a smile, that the “ginger gene is a strong one” and laughed about the Spencer family’s powerful genes. When Harry first anticipated parenthood at the start of his relationship, he doubted the redheaded gene would prevail against Meghan’s dominance. Evidently, he was mistaken.

He was wrong, indeed, but it’s a mistake he happily embraces. With enthusiasm, he has cheered, “Go gingers!” Meghan appears equally delighted. Despite keeping Lilibet and Archie’s faces away from social media, she occasionally shares glimpses of their life, prominently highlighting their striking red hair.

Lilibet and Archie’s hair was on display in the summer of ’26

During July 2026, Meghan offered a peek into their family adventures on Instagram, capturing moments from their lively vacation in southern Portugal. The images included the carefree spirit of Princess Lilibet, her radiant red hair shining like gold under the sun as she darted behind her brother and father. In parallel, Prince Archie was seen from behind, engulfed in an overgrown garden at sunset, where the vibrant rays illuminated his fiery tresses, showcasing the contrasting shades of their hair.

Lilibet and Archie’s hair always shines in the sun

Earlier in June 2026, Meghan expressed her readiness for warm summer days with a series of Instagram photos featuring family moments at their California home. Among these were shots of Prince Archie energetically playing soccer with Harry, his auburn hair catching the sunlight. Another image focused on Lilibet’s quirky Beyoncé-themed T-shirt, with strands of her vivid red hair spilling over her shoulder, giving fans another delightful peek at the offspring’s standout inheritance.

Lilibet’s hair was the highlight of her 5th birthday pictures

On June 4, 2026, Princess Lilibet turned 5, and Meghan Markle couldn’t let the big day go without a celebratory post on Instagram. To mark her baby girl’s birthday, Meghan shared a couple of sweet snaps that, as usual, hid Lilibet’s face. On the other hand, her striking red hair was on full display in both. In the first, she was in Prince Harry’s arms, showing the similarity between her hair tone and her father’s. The second picture showed Lilibet touching a flower outside with her hair partially concealing her face.

Lilibet’s hair is striking even in artificial light

It doesn’t take being outside to see the vibrancy of Princess Lilibet’s red hair. A picture Meghan Markle posted in May 2026 showed that her hair is just as bright in indoor lighting. Meghan took a mirror selfie in a walk-in closet that showed the Duchess of Sussex in a lilac-colored trench coat as Lilibet, sitting on her heels, appeared to help her mother with her shoes. She had on a red dress with a matching scrunchie that softened the red in her hair, making the orange and blond hues stand out instead.

Archie has had red hair since his newborn days

Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left royal life in January 2020, their son, Prince Archie, had made a few public appearances, as was expected from working royals. In those early months, he was a bald little thing, so it was hard to gauge what hair color he would end up having. But it turns out that the newborn hair he had grown was already red. To celebrate Archie’s 7th birthday, Meghan shared a picture of the tiny babe on Harry’s chest, which showed that it was evident from the get-go that he had inherited his father’s ginger genes.

Meghan Markle has a bunch of redheaded Valentines

On February 14, 2026, Meghan Markle celebrated Valentine’s Day by giving a shoutout to her favorite people on Instagram. While she shared just a picture of Prince Harry holding a ballerina dress-clad Princess Lilibet, Meghan included her son in the caption. “These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” she wrote. The snapshot was taken at sunset, when the light was already fading on the horizon. And yet, Lilibet’s hair was as red as ever. Next to her father, the similarities between her hair color and Harry’s are undeniable.

Lilibet’s hair was the highlight of International Day of the Girl

Meghan Markle frequently celebrates Princess Lilibet on days dedicated to women and girls, which usually gives her fans a chance to see her gorgeous hair. In October 2025, the Duchess of Sussex marked the International Day of the Girl with a short clip of Lilibet running on grass followed by a picture of her by a pond next to her mother. Lilibet stood with her back to the camera in a pink outfit with her striking red hair in a half-ponytail that fell in waves against her back.

Lilibet and Archie were on the set of With Love, Meghan

Meghan Markle has two great little helpers in Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. When she filmed Season 2 of “With Love, Meghan,” she took her children along. Meghan shared a series of pictures from the set in September 2025, and Lilibet and Archie’s hair totally stole the show. In one snap, brother and sister sat with headphones in as they watched their mother on a screen. They were outside, and their red hair just shone. In fact, the picture here shows how deeply red Archie’s hair actually is.

Lilibet and Archie spend a lot of time outside — where their hair shines

Having launched her Instagram in January 2025, Meghan Markle was slow to start posting more content featuring Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. April 2025 marked the first time we actually got to see just how strikingly red her kids’ hair was. She shared a couple of snapshots from a slow Sunday spent at home, featuring Lilibet and Archie helping with the rose bush. The sun was shining bright, making their vibrant red locks stand out. The pictures showcased the differences in Lilibet’s golden red compared to Archie’s vibrant copper tone.

Meghan Markle introduced Lilibet and Archie on Instagram in 2025

In March 2025, Meghan Markle shared the first picture featuring Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie on Instagram as she launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever. “Every day is a love story,” she captioned the post jointly shared with the As Ever page. The picture showed Meghan from behind as she held Lilibet on her hip while Archie wrapped himself around her opposite leg. Lilibet wore a straw hat matching her mother’s, but strands of vibrant red hair slipped out from underneath it. And Archie’s deep red hair reflected the setting sunlight.

Israel Dismisses Trump’s 15-Point Proposal for Gaza Peace Plan

0

Despite intense negotiations, a United States-backed strategy to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza encounters resistance as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismisses a comprehensive 15-point peace plan..

The proposal, which aims to link the disarmament of Hamas to a gradual Israeli military retreat, faces rejection from Netanyahu in its present iteration.

In a Jerusalem cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu stated, “Israel does not accept the 15-point document.”

Emphasizing his stance, he added, “The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed,” referencing the Israeli Defense Forces.

Netanyahu further clarified that this stance included the disarmament of all arms types, beyond just heavy weaponry, while reiterating his opposition to establishing an independent Palestinian state.

Netanyahu described US President Donald Trump, who had hailed the Gaza deal as a milestone for peace, as “our greatest friend in the White House” — but quickly made clear he was willing to challenge him, saying Israel was raising its objections with the US.

“They have ideas; some of them are acceptable to us and some are not, and we know how to stand our ground on these matters,” he said.

Trump’s Board of Peace — an international organisation established to oversee Gaza’s post-war reconstruction and governance — stated nearly a week ago that it expected Israel to make a complete withdrawal from the coastal enclave only after Hamas had been disarmed.

Under the roadmap, Israel and Hamas are supposed to halt the fighting.

A Palestinian transitional administration, supported by an international stabilisation force, is to take control of administration and security as the Israeli military withdraws.

The weapons handed over by Hamas under international supervision would remain under Palestinian control. Israel rejects this and insists that the weapons be removed from Palestinian territory.

Hamas made the surrender of heavy weapons conditional on several requirements, including the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip and the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Further talks underway

Nickolay Mladenov, the Board of Peace’s high representative for Gaza, said in an interview with Israel’s Channel 12 television that the organisation’s plan is the “only way forward”.

“The option we are offering today is the only way forward that ensures this tragedy does not happen again,” he said.

He said that further talks were underway and he hoped the discussions “will lead to a positive outcome for everyone.”

Mladenov described the current stage of the agreement as a commitment involving the US, Hamas and the Board of Peace — notably leaving out Israel.

He also reiterated an assurance he made to Netanyahu last week that Israel would pull out only after a complete Hamas disarmament, walking back earlier language that spoke of Israel starting a phased withdrawal.

But Mladenov maintained that Israel would eventually pull out if there were verified disarmament.

“If there is genuine demilitarisation, Israel will withdraw from the Strip,” he said.

He said the disarmament would involve all Hamas weapons, down to Kalashnikov rifles.

Israel has demanded the destruction of all weapons, not just handing them over.

Woman Discovers Shocking Truth: Fertility Clinic Doctor Was Biological Father, Not Anonymous Donor

Joseph Laedtke Heider (WISN)

A shocking lawsuit has emerged from Wisconsin, accusing a fertility specialist of deceiving a patient about the identity of her sperm donor. The woman was led to believe the donor was a young medical student. However, the truth, according to legal claims, is that the sperm was actually provided by the doctor himself.

The legal action is being pursued by Mary Ellen Lukezich and her son, Joseph Laedtke Heider, who have brought their case against Dr. Frederick Dettmann in Milwaukee Circuit Court.

Heider, now in his 40s, uncovered this startling revelation in 2024. A routine DNA submission to Ancestry.com unveiled a familial connection that pointed directly to Dettmann as his biological father, as reported in the lawsuit referenced by local ABC affiliate WISN.

Currently 91 years old, Dettmann is retired and through his attorneys, he has refuted all allegations of misconduct, maintaining his innocence in statements directed to the press.

“The events referenced are alleged to have occurred almost 50 years ago,” the statement said. “Dr. Dettmann has no independent recollection of the individuals making these allegations and is unaware of any evidence supporting the claims being asserted.”

‘If I didn’t know that before this past year, I think I really know it now because with absolutely everything he’s just, he’s on it. He holds it down. I hope that doesn’t sound like I’m bragging, but he’s a dream partner to me.’

Indiana Prosecutors Decline Charges in Tim Hortons Case After Customer Anita Grayson’s Death

0

In a recent development from Indiana, prosecutors have announced that they will not pursue charges in the case of a 75-year-old Tim Hortons patron who passed away following an altercation with a drive-thru manager.

Anita Grayson, who suffered from congestive heart failure, tragically died after a confrontation on May 13 at the Fort Wayne coffee shop. Her untimely death prompted an investigation due to initial uncertainty among authorities about whether it was accidental or constituted a homicide.

On Friday, the Allen County prosecutors stated that no charges will be filed, officially clearing all involved staff members of any wrongdoing, as detailed in a report reviewed by The Post.

Grayson, a mother to four children, stormed into the coffeehouse shortly after 8 a.m., expressing her discontent over an order to a 17-year-old employee. This led the 20-year-old shift manager to step in.

According to Fort Wayne investigators, the shift manager tried to prevent Grayson from approaching the teenage worker by placing her hands on Grayson, which resulted in her being “forcefully shoved”.

The senior then struck the manager on the left side of her nose and she tried to retaliate.

Grayson then grabbed the manager’s face, scratched her and knocked off her glasses before yanking her hair and pulling her to the ground.

Then, two other Tim Hortons staffers rushed in and tried to pull the pair apart, but Grayson then pulled a clump of hair from the shift manager.

She was then seen putting clumps of hair in her bag before being found unresponsive.

Prosecutors refused to file charges as they said the shift manager was defending her colleague.

“Grayson’s escalation to striking [the manager] in the face was not a proportionate or justified response to being touched on the shoulders,” investigators said.

“As a matter of law, it is Grayson’s blow, not [the manager’s] earlier contact that started the altercation.”

The manager’s actions “did not exceed what the ongoing struggle reasonably called for,” investigators said.

[Her] “initial intervention is independently justified as defense of a third person,” investigators added.

“She said she thought Grayson was going to attack the minor employee, so she stepped in.

“Under Indiana law, the State cannot proceed unless it can disprove legal justification beyond a reasonable doubt, and on this record it cannot. The current conclusion is that no criminal charges will be filed.”

Grayson’s manner of death was undetermined, Allen County coroners said last month.

Her death was the result of “acute exacerbation of congestive heart failure in the setting of physical altercation,”  E. Jon Brandenberger said in his ruling.

“The symptoms of congestive heart failure get worse when there is adrenaline flowing in a physical altercation, and then a sudden flare up of the heart failure, which then can lead to symptoms, or hospitalization, and even death,” the coroner said.

Coroners ruled out an accidental or natural death given the circumstances.

Investigators also ruled out homicide after examining all of the evidence and said Grayson didn’t suffer any “significant contributory injuries” as a result of the fight.

“There has been exhaustive investigation and review in the evidence of this case,” Brandenberger said.

“The video was reviewed multiple times by the homicide detectives, by my staff, by the prosecutor, and by the forensic pathologist. Bodycam videos were reviewed. We listened to and transcribed the four 911 calls and multiple meetings.

“After exhaustive review, we could not determine with reasonable certainty that Mrs. Grayson’s death was either natural, or homicide, or accident.

“Therefore the manner of death that is appropriate to use is undetermined, meaning could not be determined.”

Grayson’s family hired civil rights attorney Ben Crump to pursue potential litigation and her daughter, Tawnda Grayson, called for justice.

“She was the best mother anyone could ask for — hardworking, compassionate, selfless, and always willing to help others before herself,” Tawnda Grayson said.

Kyle Walker Seeks Redemption and Silverware with Burnley

0

Fifteen years have passed since Kyle Walker graced the Championship, marking a significant milestone in his extensive football career.

Back in those days, the talented full-back had yet to earn any of his 96 England caps and was far from becoming the celebrated and decorated player he is recognized as today.

As Walker gears up for another taste of Championship action next Sunday, with Burnley’s home game against West Ham kicking off their third campaign in the league over five years, he looks back on that era with fondness and nostalgia.

Reflecting on those formative years, Walker shares, ‘Being surrounded by seasoned pros like Fitz Hall, Shaun Derry, Clint Hill, and Paddy Kenny was invaluable. The camaraderie in the dressing room rekindled my passion for football, offering a crucial step up towards my Premier League journey.’

Despite now boasting a staggering 17 trophies to his name since that pivotal period, the 36-year-old—who received his inaugural England call-up shortly after his spell at QPR—remains fiercely driven. This determination comes after enduring one of the toughest campaigns of his illustrious career.

Kyle Walker is desperate to help Burnley get promoted after last season’s relegation

Walker hasn't played in the Championship since a breakout loan spell at QPR in 2010-11

Walker hasn’t played in the Championship since a breakout loan spell at QPR in 2010-11

‘It left a sour taste in my mouth,’ Walker says of Burnley’s third successive Premier League relegation. ‘I want to put it right, not just for myself but for the fans who had to deal with it and for the players who have stuck around.

‘I feel we have an obligation to put it right and with the quality we have in the dressing room, we should be getting promoted and going back to the Premier League.’

Having spent much of his career competing for titles, Walker found himself battling the drop last season, a mental challenge he had to get his head around.

Now back in the Championship, a division in which Burnley have hit 100 points in each of their last two seasons, Walker is likely to be part of a dominant team again.

And it is that experience he hopes to put to good use, along with some words of wisdom from a former Manchester City team-mate.

‘I’ve spoken to Vincent Kompany and got advice from him,’ he adds. ‘I asked how he found it (being at Burnley in the Championship) after achieving what he achieved.

‘He said it’s difficult and something that is going to be a task for myself (the expectation to win), but it is also very enjoyable because you become a big fish again, and you get a little bit more of the ball. It’s a bit more of the game I was used to playing at Manchester City.

‘Hopefully we can replicate that from when Vinny went up because they broke 100 points and tore the Championship apart.’

Walker, who scored the winning penalty in Burnley’s Carabao Cup victory over Notts County on Saturday, is relishing his leadership role at Turf Moor and, despite his age, insists he is still in top physical shape.

Burnley will have a target on their backs from the outset this season, and no player is likely to experience that quite like Walker, with many bright young left wingers keen to get the better of him.

‘I think they try to create, what are they called… memes now,’ he adds. ‘They’ll try and create memes out of me, but I can assure you I am not becoming anyone’s meme.’

The 36-year-old has been impressed by the early work of new Burnley boss Nicky Hayen

Burnley’s hopes of an immediate return to the Premier League have followed another summer of change at Turf Moor, with Belgian boss Nicky Hayen replacing Scott Parker, while first team stars Jaidon Anthony, Maxime Esteve, Florentino and Lesley Ugochukwu have all departed.

And Walker has been impressed by Hayen’s early impact.

‘He’s been great,’ Walker says. ‘The information he has given is key and he is very direct. Too much information sometimes kills it, but he has been spot on with his information. He’s got his message across really clearly and I’m looking forward to working with him, because I think he’s going to be a candidate for manager of the season.’

The Clarets have now been promoted or relegated in five successive seasons, so what advice can Walker pass on to his team-mates to ensure they bounce straight back up again?

‘Success in anything is about mentality,’ he says. ‘Talent gets you so far, but mentality and wanting to do well – not just in big games when it’s on TV, or when it’s sunny and the fans are there in their thirty thousands cheering your name – it’s when it’s raining and not on TV, it’s 7.45pm on a Tuesday night and the wind’s swirling around.

‘That’s about rolling your sleeves up, getting dirty, and making sure that we can get the three points.’

Walker’s career hasn’t always been straightforward, on and off the pitch, yet at 36 and 15 years on from that grounding loan spell at QPR, he is content with life and ready to write another chapter in his story.

‘Would I have ever thought that I would experience the things I have in football back when I was at QPR? Hell no. What I’ve achieved is something I could only have dreamed of.

‘So I definitely am at peace and I’ve achieved a lot, but I’m so hungry for more. Getting Burnley promoted is another trophy I want to add to my collection – I want to put it on my CV.’

RHOC’s Jeana Keough Faces Tongue Cancer Struggles: Vicki Speaks

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, Vicki Gunvalson, recently shared some news about her close friend Jeana Keough and her ongoing fight against tongue cancer.

Real Housewives of Orange County Cast Sends Support to Jeana Keough After Tongue Cancer Diagnosis

Amidst Jeana Keough’s cancer struggle, love and encouragement have poured in from her Real Housewives of Orange County circle. “By now, most of you are aware that my extraordinary friend @jeanakeough is battling cancer,” Vicki stated on Instagram on Sunday, July 19. […]

Jeana’s daughter, Kara Keough, broke the news of her mom’s cancer battle in July.

“A few months ago, while visiting Shane and me in Florida, my mom mentioned a painful spot on her tongue,” Kara wrote via the GoFundMe page. “She assumed a tooth had been rubbing against it and had even gone to the dentist multiple times to have the tooth filed down. I asked her how long the sore had been there. She paused, thought about it, and realized it had been nearly a year.”

According to Kara, Jeana was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue.

“After surgery to remove the cancer, we were hopeful that the hardest part was behind her. But when doctors recommended a second surgery to remove lymph nodes, they discovered the cancer had spread,” Kara wrote. “What we thought would be a one-time surgery became a full cancer battle.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Jeana Keough’s daughter, Kara Keough, has revealed her mom’s prognosis after finishing chemotherapy for tongue cancer. “Jeana is home and recovering,” Kara, 37, wrote in an update on Jeana’s GoFundMe page on Friday, July 31. “She’s done with chemo and only has 2 days of radiation left! After […]

Kara shared an update on her mom’s treatment plan on Thursday, August 6, confirming that Jeana “finished her last radiation treatment” the day before and that “we were informed that these next two weeks will be the roughest on her physically — as the chemo and radiation are compounding and her body will be at its weakest point.”

“The radiation burns have now made it to the outer skin on her neck and even putting medicated cream on the area with the gentlest of touches causes her wincing pain,” Kara wrote. “We’re rocking and rolling with the feeding tube and I can feed her in the dark while she sleeps at this point and she’s stopped losing weight. This is a win and we’re taking it as such.”

“We’re still trying to find a nausea treatment that might prevent the painful vomiting but haven’t found the perfect solution yet,” said Kara, noting that the “pain is excruciating and she refuses narcotics, so it’s unfortunately a really tough challenge to accept.”
