Heather McComb, who was previously married to “Dawson’s Creek” star James Van Der Beek, tied the knot with Scott Michael Campbell in a heartfelt ceremony in Missoula, Montana, on Saturday. This joyful occasion comes three months following the passing of Van Der Beek.

McComb, 49, took to Instagram to tell more than 15,400 followers about her Midwestern wedding ceremony, including a slideshow of images from her special day.

“Yesterday, Scott Michael Campbell and I were officially married under the covenant of God by my lovely sister Essence Atkins, surrounded by the people we cherish most in our favorite city, Missoula, Montana,” McComb shared.

Reflecting on her previous marriage to Van Der Beek from 2003 until 2010, McComb expressed, “Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and love from the incredible support we received. God is truly amazing.”

She also extended her appreciation, saying, “Thank you to all our family and friends who journeyed from across the country to celebrate with us. Praise Jesus, the miracle worker!”

The New Jersey-born actress, who’s been seen in American Gigolo, Ray Donovan and The Event, thanked all of the people involved in making her wedding a romantic and memorable event.

‘You all made it so special and a truly magical weekend that we will never forget,’ McComb said. ‘We are sitting here counting our many blessings. Thank you to everyone who made this so special for us!’

Van Der Beek, also known for his roles in Varsity Blues, One Tree Hill and CSI: Cyber, who was father to six children with wife Kimberly, 44, who he wed in 2010, the same year he split with McComb.

Following Van Der Beek’s death more than three months back, McComb took to Instagram saying she was ‘heartbroken over the loss of beloved James’ and ‘especially heartbroken’ for ‘his amazing family.’

McComb reflected on her time with the actor and the ‘journey we shared over the years,’ adding she was grateful ‘for the special connection, friendship and love’ she shared with the late star.

She called the late star ‘a beautiful soul filled with so much light, love, talent, humor, depth, sensitivity, knowledge and a deep love of God that shined through him.

‘He shined so bright yet was so humble and human. Always searching, always growing, always going deeper, always chasing things outside his comfort zone.’

McComb praised Van Der Beek as a family man, saying she knew that he ‘loved being a father so much’ and ‘loved Kimberly with his everything,’ calling them ‘true soulmates.’

Van Der Beek was also well-remembered by a number of his colleagues in show business following news of his passing.

Van Der Beek last year touched on the emotional impact of his public health battle, saying it was ‘overwhelming’ in a good way to be on the receiving end of kind words and well-wishes from concerned family, friends and fans.

He told the Today Show in December ‘so many people [told him], “I’m praying for you. I’m wishing you the best. How you doin?”‘

Said the actor: ‘I never expected that. I never just stopped to appreciate what I’d done. And I will say, every time somebody says, “I’m praying for you, and I’m wishing you the best,” I appreciate it.’

Van Der Beek added, ‘The biggest change I’d say would be this journey of self love,’ adding, ‘What I realized was, I’m still worthy of love. My own love, God’s love.’

He said that while he felt his health had been improving, the cancer battle itself was ‘a longer journey than [he] ever thought it would be.’

Kimberly took to Instagram at the time with the heartbreaking news, saying, ‘Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning.

‘He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace. There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time. Those days will come.’

She wrapped up, ‘For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.’

In a shocking incident over the weekend, a teenage girl is accused of stabbing three horses during a national barrel racing event in Las Vegas. The unsettling episode unfolded at the South Point Casino, where authorities said the incident took place shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday.

Upon arrival, officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department found that the animals had been deliberately wounded with a sharp instrument. These injuries occurred as preparations were underway for the 2026 National Barrel Horse Association Professional’s Choice Las Vegas Super Show, a prominent event in the barrel racing calendar.

Investigators quickly honed in on a teenage girl as a potential suspect. The young girl reportedly had access to the barn where the horses, now unable to compete, were housed. While the authorities have not released her name, they suspect she may have used a knife to cause the injuries.

Fortunately, the police have indicated that the wounds, though serious enough to sideline the horses from competition, are not deemed life-threatening. However, the incident has cast a shadow over the event, leaving participants and attendees alike in a state of disbelief.

“While the injuries are not considered life-threatening, they are expected to prevent the horses from competing,” cops wrote in a statement.

The teen was arrested at a nearby hotel and taken to Clark County Juvenile Hall, where she was booked on 12 counts of willful animal torture and three counts of felony malicious destruction of private property over $5,000.

The NBHA confirmed in a statement that the incident involved “a limited number of equine athletes” at the venue, which hosted the barrel racing show from Friday through Sunday.

“The situation was addressed immediately in coordination with the National Barrel Horse Association, the South Point Hotel & Casino Security, Metro Police, and all appropriate parties,” the association said.

“The individual involved has been removed and placed in the care of authorities, and there is no ongoing threat of any kind.”

Investigators have not released a possible motive for the horse stabbing.

President Trump has urged the cancellation of an upcoming concert marking America’s 250th anniversary after several performers backed out of the Great American State Fair on the National Mall.

Expressing his views on Truth Social, Trump proposed hosting a “giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY” instead, criticizing the event’s lineup as “overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear,” and dismissing their music as “boring” while accusing them of constant complaining.

He further commented, “Cancel it, just like I withdrew from the failing and unsafe Kennedy Center. A Highly Conflicted, Crooked Federal Judge declared I shouldn’t invest my time and money to MAKE THE CENTER GREAT AGAIN, even better than before!”

Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with a recent federal court decision mandating the removal of his name from the Kennedy Center within two weeks. He had previously condemned this ruling as part of a “rigged” U.S. court system.

In his critique, Trump stated, “The Kennedy Center is now doomed to collapse both structurally and financially… Judge Cooper, like many other Crooked Judges handling my cases, should be IMPEACHED,” targeting U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper who issued the decision.

Several artists have withdrawn from performing at the June 25 celebration, stating that they signed on to perform at a nonpartisan event. Country singer Martina McBride said she “was assured this was a nonpartisan event that was meant to celebrate ALL 50 states.”

“The artists were never told about any political involvement with the event,” Young MC wrote in a Facebook post. “And despite the claims by the organizers that the event is non-partisan, SPIN magazine describes it as ‘Trump-backed.’ I hope to perform in D.C. in the near future at an event that is not so politically charged.”

Trump lambasted the artists who pulled out of performing as “Third Rate ‘Artists,’” and said he will deliver a “major speech” instead. He added that he directed his representatives “to look at the feasibility of doing an AMERICA IS BACK Rally on Wednesday, Washington, D.C., same time, same location.”

A spokesperson with Freedom 250, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to organize these anniversary events, previously told The Hill that the celebratory events will “honor our history and engage all Americans — welcoming all who share our goal of commemorating this milestone in a way that uplifts and unites America.”

In a concerning escalation, Hezbollah has launched what have been described as “game-changing” waves of “lethal” nighttime drone strikes against Israel. These attacks have resulted in casualties, defense breaches, and significant turmoil along parts of the border, as defense experts caution about the increasing threat. Reports indicate that the situation has become chaotic, further exacerbating tensions in the region.

The intensified drone activity by Hezbollah prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call an urgent security meeting on May 30. This meeting followed an unexpected Hezbollah attack, which reportedly threw Israeli forces into disarray as they scrambled to respond to the sudden escalation. The attacks have created a sense of “utter chaos,” highlighting the growing instability along the border.

Cameron Chell, a defense expert and CEO of Draganfly, explained to Fox News Digital that Hezbollah is deploying small Category 1 and Category 2 drones. These drones are typically used by ground squads for tactical lethal missions or surveillance operations. Equipped with thermal sensors, they are capable of nighttime operations, using heat signatures to locate Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops.

As tensions rise, rockets have also been launched from Lebanon towards Israel, further escalating the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. This ongoing exchange has been visibly evident from the Israeli side of the border, perpetuating a cycle of violence and insecurity in the region.

“Hezbollah now has nighttime capabilities, which is game changing,” Chell added.

“What you will see is an escalation of the use of drones and the innovation of asymmetric warfare in that particular area by Hezbollah,” he warned.

Chell’s comments came amid reports of makeshift defenses with nets being deployed against the backdrop of a significant shift in the conflict.

Israeli soldiers have resorted to buying commercial fishing and soccer nets to entangle the incoming aerial threats, according to reports.

“This means that there is a whole other set of countermeasures that the IDF has to put in place, whether it is electronic jamming, net guns or the use of netting just to put in front of installations or in front of vehicles to try to stop the final impact of the drone if it is a strike drone,” Chell added.

“The IDF will have to change a lot of their tactics regarding their ability to move around and conduct operations at night. Now they will have to factor in the fact that Hezbollah has nighttime capabilities to at least do observation using thermal cameras, as well as strike capabilities.”

Netanyahu called a meeting with top officials following an intense Hezbollah rocket and drone blitz that caught the military off guard on Saturday.

According to a report by Channel 13, the Israeli army was surprised by the scale of the fire as well as Hezbollah’s decision to shift its operational policy in response to the expansion of Israel’s ground operations beyond the Litani River.

Reports from the ground described “utter chaos” in parts of the north. While rockets were said to have hit the cities, Hezbollah simultaneously launched waves of drone strikes.

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has also touted the militant group’s drone capabilities, calling them an effective weapon against Israeli forces operating near and inside southern Lebanon. 

Netanyahu has also described Hezbollah’s drone capabilities as a major threat given the difficulty in detecting them.

“Hezbollah have got a supply line or supply chain of some sort set up,” Chell added before stating that they are not “using stuff that is groundbreaking; this is very old technology and tactics that they are using.”

“That said, somebody is making the equipment available to Hezbollah — whether it is coming via Iran, China, Russia, Afghanistan or the black market, someone is getting enough product and feeding it into their supply chains,” Chell warned.

In a heated outburst, Donald Trump lashed out at the federal judge who moved to block his contentious plan to build a ballroom at the White House.

On Sunday, Trump accused US District Judge Richard Leon of jeopardizing national security by interfering with the project, as he revealed dramatic new visuals of a proposed DronePort to be located atop the ballroom.

The former president took to Truth Social for a lengthy tirade against the judge, asserting that the envisioned drone facility would rank among the most advanced globally, serving a crucial role in safeguarding Washington, D.C., from contemporary dangers.

“Judge Richard Leon should cease undermining America’s security!” Trump declared. “Should anything occur, he will bear the blame for the potential death and destruction inflicted upon our nation.”

This scathing criticism comes amid an escalating legal confrontation over Trump’s ambitious White House expansion plans.

Leon, a George W. Bush appointee, previously ruled that the administration lacked the authority to construct the massive ballroom without congressional approval and issued an injunction blocking above-ground work before an appeals court temporarily allowed construction to continue.

The president also renewed his criticism of litigation brought by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which has also sought to halt the project.

Trump has increasingly framed the development as a national-security necessity rather than merely a ceremonial ballroom.

‘With the advent of highly sophisticated, and powerful, modern day weaponry, we can no longer defend Washington, D.C., with rifles and pistols, alone,’ he wrote Sunday.
