A man is facing charges of harassment against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor following an incident where the former Prince Andrew was allegedly confronted by a masked individual during a dog walk near his residence.

Alex Jenkinson, aged 39, is scheduled to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday. He is accused of two counts of using words or actions that were threatening, abusive, or insulting, aimed at causing harassment or distress.

The Norfolk Constabulary made the announcement about these charges on Thursday evening.

Authorities reported that the arrest took place on Wednesday night when a man was seen “acting in a threatening manner” close to Andrew’s home, located in the eastern part of England.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the incident involved a man, his face obscured by a ski mask, who allegedly charged at the former royal while hurling verbal abuse.

Mountbatten-Windsor, 66, the younger brother of King Charles III, moved to the king’s private Sandringham Estate, about 100 miles north of London, after he was evicted from his longtime home near Windsor Castle following revelations about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

He was stripped of all his honors and titles and banished from public view by the royal family after years of scandal over his money woes and links to questionable characters, including Epstein.

One of Epstein’s accusers, Virginia Giuffre, alleged that she was forced to have sex with the then-prince three times starting when she was 17.

He denied it, but eventually settled the case for an undisclosed sum and acknowledged Giuffre’s suffering as a victim of sex trafficking. Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025, aged 41.

In February, he became the first senior British royal in almost 400 years to be arrested when he was held for hours by British police on suspicion of misconduct in public office in a case related to his links to Epstein.

Police had previously said they were “assessing” reports that Mountbatten-Windsor sent trade information to Epstein, a wealthy investor and convicted sex offender, in 2010, when the former prince was the UK special envoy for international trade.

Correspondence between the two men was released by the US Justice Department along with millions of pages of documents from the American investigation into Epstein.

Efforts to uncover new leads took a turn on Thursday when Michael Ruiz, a reporter for Fox News, joined investigators in a search operation. The team focused on a desert area located approximately 15 minutes east of Nancy Guthrie’s home, following a tip from A.J. Double U News, a streamer actively covering the case, about bones reportedly found in the vicinity.

Despite initial hopes for a breakthrough, Tucson Police have clarified that the bones are of prehistoric origin and are not connected to the ongoing investigation into Guthrie’s disappearance. This discovery only deepens the mystery surrounding the missing grandmother.

Ruiz shared footage of the scene, illustrating the diligent efforts of investigators as they combed through the cordoned-off area. The search continues, as authorities and family members seek any trace of Nancy Guthrie.

Tucson Police quickly clarified that the bones were not linked to Guthrie. 

‘The bone found near Craycroft and River was determined to be human,’ the department said in a statement. ‘This will be a prehistoric anthropological investigation.   

‘The University of Arizona’s Anthropology Department and the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner assisted. This is not a criminal investigation.’

Nancy’s puzzling disappearance quickly captivated the world. She has not been seen or heard from since the evening of January 31. 

The investigation involves about two dozen Pima County and FBI detectives, who have probed a series of blackmail messages sent to the family and to media outlets demanding bitcoin money in return for Nancy. 

None of the ransoms were ever paid as the Guthrie family demanded proof of life, but never got it. 

Authorities and the family also could not verify the authenticity of the ransom notes, despite their willingness to pay. 

Over the course of the investigation, only a handful of people have been taken in for questioning. No one has been arrested. 

Various pieces of evidence have also been found at the home and in the surrounding area, including drops of blood on Nancy’s front porch, a torn-down doorbell camera, and several gloves. 

Surveillance footage also captured a masked person outside her front door, appearing to tamper with the doorbell camera before it was snatched off. 

Her daughter Savannah has since made her way back to New York City and is back on-air at NBC’s Today show.

All eyes have been on the TV personality as she continues to fight for answers about what happened to her mother. 

A rumor quickly spread in mid-April after social media users claimed to have seen Savannah disappear from the show halfway through a chat with actress Anne Hathaway.  

Given the abduction of her mother, many speculated she may have received an update and had to step away. 

But the rumor was entirely false, with Savannah back on air 20 minutes later for a cooking segment.

An industry source told the Daily Mail: ‘It’s not unusual for a host to tease an upcoming segment at any point, and for another host to do the interview.’

But the sudden switch spawned an avalanche of speculation.

‘Maybe she got a call and was going to leave after the last set?’ one X user wrote.

Sources told Variety a few days before that the Today team was planning to initially play it by ear’ for Savannah’s return.

The FBI is offering up to $50,000 for information about her mother’s whereabouts as the investigation continues.  

A Chicago police officer’s life was tragically cut short during a shooting at Swedish Hospital on the city’s North Side, following the arrest of a robbery suspect, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD).

In a heartfelt gathering on Thursday, friends, family, and fellow first responders paid their respects to Officer John Bartholomew during a visitation held at Saint Andrews Greek Orthodox Church. Officer Bartholomew is fondly remembered for his dedication to duty and his devotion as a father.

The morning began with a solemn procession as police escorted the hearse carrying Officer Bartholomew’s body to the church. His casket, draped in a Chicago flag, was a poignant symbol of his service to the city.

As a tribute to the fallen officer, blue ribbons and flags adorned the church exterior, serving as a reminder of his sacrifice and the community’s gratitude.

Bartholomew was killed in the line of duty on April 25. He and his partner were shot while they monitored a robbery suspect at Swedish Hospital.

Officer Bartholomew’s longtime partner Officer Nelson Crespo was critically injured and is still recovering. Earlier this week, Superintendent Larry Snelling publicly named Crespo during an awards ceremony.

“Officer Nelson Crespo is in the hospital and although has made some improvements he’s still fighting for his life. and were still fighting with him. were going to always be there for the families of the fallen,” Superintendent Snelling said.

Bartholomew has been with the department since 2015. He was a husband and father and is described as always putting his family first.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation said his energetic presence left a lasting impression on his fellow officers.

There were street closures on DuSable Lake Shore Drive from Foster to Hollywood and Sheridan Rd from Bryn Mawr to Hollywood.

The funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Andrews Greek Orthodox Church.

A Kentucky man, who endured over two decades in prison for a murder he insists was based on fabricated evidence, has been awarded more than $24 million. A jury concluded he was wrongfully convicted in what prosecutors once labeled as a “satanic” killing.

Jeffrey Clark was just 21 when he and his friend, Keith Hardin, were convicted for the 1992 stabbing of 19-year-old Rhonda Sue Warford. Her body was discovered in a field in Meade County, days after she vanished from her Louisville home.

During the trial, prosecutors alleged that the murder had a ritualistic motive, relying on witness testimonies and forensic evidence. Clark later contested these claims, arguing in court that the evidence was false or misleading.

After serving more than 22 years, Clark’s case took a turn when new DNA testing discredited the critical evidence that had led to his conviction. His conviction was overturned in 2016, and by 2018, all charges against him were dropped.

Following the verdict, Mr. Clark posed with his legal team from Loevy + Loevy, celebrating the justice served. The team included Melinda Ek, Elliot Slosar, Amy Staples, Jimmer Dudley, Stephany Janssen, and Julia Quinn.

“I finally feel like I am able to wake up from a 34-year nightmare,” Clark said after the verdict.

In a civil lawsuit, Clark accused investigators of engaging in misconduct to secure his conviction, including fabricating statements, pressuring witnesses and withholding evidence that could have supported his innocence.

According to the complaint, detectives attributed statements to Hardin suggesting the killing was part of a ritual, despite no independent evidence to support that claim.

The lawsuit also alleges authorities relied on testimony from a jailhouse informant who received benefits in exchange for cooperating, while failing to disclose information that could have undermined his credibility.

An ex-girlfriend’s testimony portraying Clark as involved in satanic practices was also called into question, with the lawsuit alleging her statements conflicted with earlier accounts.

Investigators also failed to pursue another potential suspect who had allegedly confessed to the killing, according to the complaint.

The case later drew attention from the Innocence Project, which said advances in DNA testing ultimately discredited the prosecution’s core forensic evidence.

Testing showed that hair presented at trial as consistent with Hardin did not belong to him, Clark or the victim. Additional testing confirmed that blood found on a handkerchief, which prosecutors had tied to alleged ritual activity, belonged to Hardin, consistent with his account at trial.

The organization also pointed to evidence that a jailhouse informant attempted to coordinate false testimony and that investigators did not follow up on another potential suspect.

Clark’s legal team has also highlighted the role of the lead detective in the case, who was later convicted in an unrelated matter involving perjury and evidence tampering, further raising questions about the original investigation.

The lawsuit further alleges investigators adjusted the timeline of Warford’s death to fit their theory of the case. Authorities initially believed the killing occurred days after she disappeared, when Clark and Hardin had alibis, but later focused on an earlier timeframe that weakened those alibis, according to the complaint.

A jury ultimately found in Clark’s favor, awarding him $24.35 million in compensatory damages along with additional punitive damages.

Meade County officials said the verdict is under review.

“A verdict was rendered … and it is under evaluation as to our next course of action,” the county said in a statement, adding it has no further comment pending legal review.

Despite Clark’s exoneration and the multimillion-dollar award, Warford’s killing remains unsolved, and no one has been convicted in the case.
