WWE Icon Sable Stuns Fans with Dramatic Transformation at 58

0

Once a dazzling figure in the WWE universe, Sable, whose real name is Rena Lesnar, chose to retreat from the limelight in 2004, opting for a serene life in rural Canada. Known for gracing the cover of Playboy three times, the 58-year-old former wrestling star had all but disappeared from public view until a surprising appearance this past weekend.

Sable made an unexpected return to the public eye to support her husband, Brock Lesnar, during Wrestlemania 42 in Las Vegas. Despite her attempts to stay under the radar, she was spotted in a rare photograph alongside Lesnar and Canadian MAGA rapper, Tom MacDonald.

The photograph revealed a transformed Sable, sporting long brown hair and dressed in modest attire, a stark contrast to her former glamorous persona as a blonde bombshell of the wrestling world. Her evolution into a more reserved style reflects her new life away from the wrestling spotlight.

Tom MacDonald, who shared the candid selfie on social media, recounted his encounter with the WWE legend. He detailed how he struck up a conversation with Lesnar, who was gearing up for his retirement match at Wrestlemania against Oba Femi. This unexpected interaction offered fans a nostalgic glimpse into the life of a wrestling icon who has largely stepped away from public life.

MacDonald shared the selfie to social media and explained to fans how he ended up chatting to WWE legend Lesnar, who had his retirement match at Wrestlemania against Oba Femi.

‘I bumped into Brock Lesnar in my hotel and when I extended my hand to thank him for his contributions to pro wrestling he said “Tom MacDonald! No, thank you for what you do. We listen to you all the time”,’ MacDonald wrote.

‘For 20 minutes we chatted and I got to know what a genuinely cool (and REAL) dude he is,’ he continued.

‘It blows my mind that my music has managed to find the folks who have fallen through the cracks… as well as reached the folks at the tops of the mountains.’

MacDonald is known for his right wing rap hits like Snowflakes, Fake Woke, and The Devil Is A Democrat.

While MacDonald made no mention of Sable in his post, wrestling fans on social media were stunned to see the reclusive wrestler again.

‘Damn, could not recognize her without the blonde hair,’ commented one.

‘Sable looks great! The blonde was iconic but I think this is her natural hair color. It’s good to see her pop up because I know she’s completely anti [social media],’ wrote another.

‘I just don’t understand why Sable isn’t paraded around like the legend that she is,’ added a third.

Sable has only been publicly photographed a handful of times in the last decade.

She was last seen in May 2025 attending a private country music party with Lesnar and some friends.

At the height of her fame in the late ’90s, Sable was the biggest female star in professional wrestling.

She first entered the wrestling business in 1996, serving as the manager to her then real-life husband Marc Mero.

Due to her stunning beauty and scantily-clad outfits, Sable’s popularity exploded to the point that she quickly became more popular than most of the show’s male talent.

Despite her limited wrestling skills, Rena was soon crowned the WWE Women’s Champion and featured as a main draw for many of WWE’s pay-per-view specials.

In 1999, she became the first WWE star to cover Playboy magazine, with her issue becoming the highest-selling issue in Playboy’s history at the time.

She covered the magazine again just a few months later, becoming the first woman to land two Playboy covers in one year.

She then quit WWE and filed a $110 million lawsuit against the company, citing allegations of sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions.

One of the most shocking allegations in the lawsuit was that a male wrestler defecated in her bag as part of a sick prank.

Sean Waltman, better known as X-Pac, later confirmed that he was the culprit behind the gruesome number two.

Sable and WWE settled out of court in 1999 and she eventually returned to the company in 2003, reprising her on-screen character in a series of racy storylines.

She also covered Playboy for a third time in 2004, this time alongside fellow wrestling beauty Torrie Wilson, before eventually leaving WWE for the second and final time a few months later.

Around that time, her then-husband Mero claimed that she started having an affair with WWE superstar Lesnar.

She eventually married Brock in 2006 and the couple welcomed two sons together.

After finding love with Lesnar, Sable ceased almost all of her public appearances and was only ever spotted on rare occasions supporting her husband at the odd UFC event.

Lesnar, who grew up on a dairy farm in South Dakota, moved Sable and their children to a rural farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, back in 2014.

In 2010, he gave a rare interview about his decision to keep his private life out of the public domain.

‘I just don’t put myself out there to the fans and prostitute my private life to everybody,’ he told Yahoo.

‘In today’s day and age, with the internet and cameras and cell phones, I just like being old school and living in the woods and living my life. I came from nothing and at any moment, you can go back to having nothing.’

UK Announces Future Ban on Cigarette Sales to Individuals Born After 2008

0

In brief

  • A rolling age ban means children and anyone born in the future will never be able to legally buy cigarettes in the UK.
  • The law also tightens restrictions on vaping in the country.

In a bold move, the UK Parliament has enacted new legislation that effectively bans the sale of cigarettes to anyone currently aged 17 or younger, as well as future generations, in a bid to curb smoking.

Under the newly passed Tobacco and Vapes Bill, the minimum legal age to purchase tobacco will increase by one year annually, starting with those born on or after January 1, 2009. This change means these individuals will never be able to legally buy cigarettes in their lifetime.

The government advocates that these stringent measures are aimed at reducing smoking rates and preventing nicotine addiction among the youth, ultimately reducing the long-term burden on the National Health Service (NHS).

UK Health Secretary Wes Streeting hailed the bill’s passage as a landmark achievement for public health in the country.

“This legislation ensures that children in the UK will become the first smoke-free generation, shielded from a life dominated by addiction and its associated harms,” he stated.

“Prevention is better than cure — this reform will save lives, ease pressure on the NHS, and build a healthier Britain.”

London's Parliament House stands behind the River Thames, partially shrouded in smoke.
The new laws passed in Parliament House are set to come into effect from 1 January 2027.

The measure, passed by Keir Starmer’s Labour government, was first proposed in 2023 under UK Conservative leader Rishi Sunak.

Smoking causes about 64,000 deaths and 400,000 hospital admissions a year in England alone, according to official estimates.

The NHS spends roughly £3 billion ($5.67 billion) annually on treating smoking-related illnesses, with wider economic costs estimated to exceed £20 billion.

UK health minister Gillian Merron told the House of Lords on Monday the move was “the biggest public health intervention in a generation”.

“I can assure all noble Lords it will save lives,” she said.

Tighter rules on vaping

The law, which is due to receive royal assent next week, also tightens controls on vaping, which has become a key focus for policymakers over concerns of youth uptake and nicotine dependence.

Vaping devices and other nicotine products will be prohibited for under‑18s, while advertising displays, free giveaways, and discounts will also be banned.

Last year, the UK government banned the sale of single-use or disposable vapes over environmental concerns and their use by young people.

The new legislation builds on those rules, giving ministers the power to regulate the flavours and packaging of tobacco, vaping, and nicotine products.

Around 10 per cent of adults in Great Britain — an estimated 5.5 million people — use vapes, according to health charity Action on Smoking and Health.

Those levels are broadly unchanged since 2024, suggesting uptake has begun to plateau.

About half of those who vape are former smokers, while around 40 per cent continue to smoke alongside vaping, the charity said.

The international position

In 2022, New Zealand became the first country in the world to impose a rising, age-restricted smoking ban.

Similarly to the UK, the NZ government outlawed the sale of cigarettes to those born after 2008.

However, a newly elected conservative coalition repealed the law in November 2023, less than a year after it was introduced.

In November last year, the Maldives banned the sale of cigarettes to anyone born after 1 January 2007.

Australia’s own ‘massive problem’

Health Minister Mark Butler said at the time of the New Zealand smoking ban that the Australian government was watching developments across the Tasman and in the UK closely.

“The government has taken an evidence-based approach, following a deep review of existing tobacco regulation, but also best practice across the world,” he said.

“The UK and New Zealand have responded to the specific tactics of big tobacco marketed to their populations, and we will monitor their implementation success with interest.”

The government introduced comprehensive tobacco control reforms in 2023, which included restrictions on vaping sales to anyone without a prescription — among the toughest in the world.

However, the measures have been criticised for inadvertently pushing nicotine users towards the black market, fuelling organised crime, and leading to a rise in gang violence.

Last month, the government announced plans to give investigators further powers to target criminal gangs cashing in on illicit tobacco and vape sales.

Assistant Minister for Customs Julian Hill told the Tobacco and E-cigarette Symposium in Canberra that the country has a “massive problem” with illicit tobacco and that anyone denying it is “either deluded or lying”.

“Cheap smokes are everywhere with a now ridiculously ubiquitous retail distribution network,” he said.

“What used to be seen as a health revenue issue has now morphed into a serious and organised crime crisis.”

A 2024-2025 report by the Illicit Tobacco and E-Cigarette Commissioner found that more than half of all tobacco products now sold in Australia are illegal.

Fiancée of Spencer Fano Finds Herself Amidst Exciting NFL Draft Festivities

0

Spencer Fano’s draft night turned into an unforgettable celebration, with his fiancée getting a front-row seat to all the excitement.

The moment the Cleveland Browns informed the Utah offensive lineman of his selection as the No. 9 pick in Thursday night’s NFL draft, Fano erupted with enthusiasm.

Opting for a more personal celebration, the 21-year-old held a draft night party at home instead of attending the official event in Pittsburgh. Overcome with joy, he shouted “let’s go” and jumped onto the couch.

Amidst the cheers, Fano stomped around the furniture, exchanging high-fives with friends and family, while his fiancée, Sami, watched from just a few feet away.

With quick reflexes, Sami stepped aside but soon rejoined the joyful scene, sharing in the excitement with her 6-foot-6, 311-pound fiancé.

Sami and Fano got engaged just recently, and in an Instagram post on March 31, they seemed to indicate their wedding would occur in July.

Fano will start his NFL career just weeks after that, and should have a real chance at earning a starting spot on Cleveland’s offensive line.

Fano played right tackle throughout the entirety of the Utes’ 2025 season, though his arm length (32 1/8 inches) had draft pundits wondering if he’d need to switch positions once he got to the NFL.

Fano, though, told NFL Network at the scouting combine earlier this year he would have no problems moving.

“If you want me to play center, I’ll play center,” Fano said. “I’ll do whatever it takes to be great in this league.”

Shocking Video Surfaces: Man Allegedly Laughs at Scene of Teen’s Tragic Death

In a tragic incident following a Valentine’s Day celebration, two brothers from Texas have been formally charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenage girl.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has charged 19-year-old Enrique Aguilar with murder for his alleged involvement in the death of 17-year-old Mariah Alatorre. His younger brother, 18-year-old Romeo Aguilar, faces charges for possessing a prohibited weapon.

The unfortunate series of events unfolded just after midnight on February 14, during a party held on Dagg Road, located in the remote southern area of Houston.

Authorities reported that police officers were dispatched to the scene around 12:30 a.m. after receiving a call about a disturbance involving approximately 300 attendees. As officers arrived, gunfire erupted, causing several people to disperse from the location, according to a press release from the City of Houston.

In the chaos, the injured teenager was quickly transported to a hospital by a friend, as confirmed by law enforcement officials at the time.

“Later, after the party had dispersed, a juvenile female was brought to an area hospital by a private vehicle,” the press release reads. “The female was later pronounced dead. The friend that brought her to the hospital stated the shooting had occurred while they were at the party on Dagg Road.”

But Mariah was not taken to a nearby hospital. The party was in southeast Houston near Pearland, and instead, she first received medical attention near the northwest Houston neighborhood of Cypress.

Authorities eventually revealed the girl was first taken nearly 40 miles north to an urgent care clinic. Then, she was transferred to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where she succumbed to her injuries.

“Nothing makes sense,” Mariah’s mother previously told Houston-based CBS affiliate KHOU, questioning why her daughter was subjected to a lengthy drive before receiving medical attention.

The slain girl’s mother said she had been trying to call her daughter repeatedly throughout the night in question. Then, she finally traced Mariah’s cellphone to the urgent care center. So, she called again to hear someone tell her: “Mariah has been shot.”

“What happened between those hours?” she asked out loud in an interview. “More questions than answers.”

The victim was remembered fondly in her obituary:

Mariah was a funny, caring, and deeply loving soul who brought joy to everyone who knew her. She had a beautiful heart and always went out of her way to help her family in any way she could. Her generosity, compassion, and selfless nature made her a source of comfort and strength to those around her. She cherished her family deeply and showed her love through her actions every day.

Now, over two months later, authorities believe they have the men responsible for the girl’s murder in custody.

Still, questions linger.

In court on Wednesday, prosecutors said they now believe Mariah left the party unharmed in a vehicle with friends, including Enrique Aguilar, according to a courtroom report by KHOU.

Then, when the friends parked somewhere near the urgent care clinic, the defendant began playing with a gun, leading to the fatal shooting.

Enrique Aguilar, for his part, is said to have told investigators the shooting was an accident. But the judge overseeing the case took issue with that characterization during Wednesday’s hearing.

“I don’t see how someone accidentally shoots someone multiple times,” the judge said. “Video shows you leaning over her and smirking and laughing, so I found probable cause.”

In comments to the TV station, the victim’s family said Mariah trusted Enrique Aguilar. Now, they believe that trust was misplaced.

“She trusted the wrong people,” her mother said.

Romeo Aguilar appears in a booking photo.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the Aguilar brothers were arrested by the District 1 Crime Reduction Unit and the Violent Criminals Apprehension Team and have been booked into the Harris County Jail.

Enrique Aguilar is being detained on $500,000 bond and is next slated to appear in court on June 11. Romeo Aguilar is being detained on $30,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Ex-North Carolina Cop Arrested in Chilling Plot to Attack New Orleans Festival

A former police officer from North Carolina has been apprehended in Florida, following allegations that he intended to execute a mass shooting at a music festival in New Orleans.

Christopher Gillum, aged 45 and hailing from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, was detained by authorities at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday at a hotel located in Destin, Florida, as confirmed by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

According to officials, Gillum was sought after for issuing “terroristic threats” and was suspected of planning to travel to New Orleans for the purpose of carrying out a mass shooting at a festival.

During the investigation, law enforcement discovered a handgun and nearly 200 rounds of ammunition in his hotel room.

Authorities said they tracked and arrested a suspect at a Florida hotel after learning of an alleged plan to carry out a mass shooting

The arrest took place after authorities were tipped off about the alleged plot to perpetrate a mass shooting at an event in New Orleans, leading to the suspect’s location and arrest in a Florida hotel. (Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office)

Gillum’s family reported him missing Tuesday, telling authorities he had a history of self-harm and had made threats to harm “Black people,” according to a police bulletin from Burlington, North Carolina.

Lt. Clint Lyons of the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office said Gillum left the state before authorities could initiate an involuntary commitment, adding there were no legal grounds to detain him at the time.

Earlier Wednesday, Gillum was stopped by law enforcement in Okaloosa County but was released because he did not meet criteria for arrest or commitment, according to the bulletin.

Deputies later conducted surveillance after learning he was under investigation and arrested him once a warrant was issued from Louisiana, authorities said.

Gillum is expected to be extradited to Louisiana to face charges, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities did not name the event, but the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival — known as Jazz Fest — runs through May 3 and draws hundreds of thousands of attendees annually. Louisiana State Police said “there are no known direct threats” to any festivals in the state.

Gillum served as a sworn police officer in Chapel Hill from 2004 until his resignation in 2019, according to a town spokesperson.

He later worked as a police officer in Carolina Beach from October 2019 to October 2020, then became a detention officer with the Orange County, North Carolina, Sheriff’s Office in October 2023, leaving in July 2024.

Justin was absent from Thursday’s TIME100 Gala, leaving Bieber to walk the event’s red carpet solo.

Johnson was among the first to arrive to the star-studded event in a low-cut light gray gown with a glamorous cape featuring vine-like jeweled embroidery on the collar.

Knicks’ Game 3 Heartbreak: Key Performers Shine and Struggle in Loss to Hawks

0

Key moments and players from the Knicks’ narrow 109-108 defeat to the Hawks in Thursday night’s Game 3 clash in Atlanta:

Hero

CJ McCollum was mostly quiet in the second half, scoring just seven points. However, it was his final two points that proved decisive, as he nailed the game-winning shot for Atlanta.

During the first half, McCollum was instrumental in building the Hawks’ lead, contributing 16 points to their effort. Notably, this time around, the arena was free from any “F–k you, CJ” chants from the crowd.

Zero

While McCollum’s performance may not have been his most dazzling, he delivered when it counted in the postseason.

On the other hand, Mikal Bridges faced a tough night. He was sidelined for the last 9:48 of the third quarter due to defensive struggles and an inability to score. Although he made a brief return in the fourth quarter, he was benched again with 9:25 remaining in the game.

Unsung hero

After managing just 14 points and only nine shots in Game 2, OG Anunoby poured in 19 points in the second half to finish with a team-high 29.

It didn’t matter in the end, but this is the blueprint for Anunoby.

Key stat

2: The combined points from Bridges and Josh Hart — two of the Knicks starters. Hart only scored on a dunk with 7:35 remaining.

Craig Melvin’s Heartwarming ‘Bring Your Kids to Work Day’ Moment with Son Delano Lights Up TODAY Show

Craig Melvin enjoyed a memorable “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” on Thursday, April 23, as he welcomed a very special guest to the Today show.

The co-anchor was joined by his 12-year-old son, Delano, during the morning broadcast. Seated alongside Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer, Delano got a taste of the action during the 3rd Hour roundtable discussion.

“Delano woke up very early this morning,” Melvin commented with a smile as his son made his on-air appearance, rolling into the segment on a chair.

Though Delano quickly adapted to the studio environment, Melvin had to gently intervene when his son began spinning in his chair, reminding him to focus on the cameras.

“No, son, the cameras,” Melvin advised, repositioning his chair. “You’ve got to pay attention.”

“No, son, you’ve got to… the cameras,” Melvin said, adjusting his chair. “You’ve got to pay attention.”

Roker jumped in with a quick response, telling Melvin, “He’s just doing what you do,” which got a laugh from the table.

Later, Delano got the chance to read from the prompter and help announce the winners of a pet naming contest.

Delano went on to read out one of the winning names, a cat called “Cheddar Big Booty Cheeseburger,” which led to another joke from Roker.

“That’s what we call your dad!”

Melvin laughed it off, telling his son, “Don’t encourage Mr. Roker.”

Delano then shared that he came up with the name for the family dog, Miles. “Miles Garrett was a good football player at the time, so I decided to name him Miles Garrett,” he explained.

When asked what he planned to do with the rest of his day off, Delano paused before answering, “Uhhhh,” which led Melvin to respond, “Great, we missed school for this.”

Delano wrapped up his appearance by reading a tease about tips for getting “your dad to raise your allowance,” but Melvin quickly shut that idea down.

“That’s not happening,” he said, before giving his son a high-five.

Melvin shares Delano and his younger sister, Sybil, with his wife, Lindsay Czarniak.

Respected Educator ‘Mr. Wonderful’ Faces Serious Allegations of Student Misconduct

0

A former private school teacher, once affectionately known as “Mr. Wonderful,” is now facing serious charges of rape involving two of his former students. The allegations have cast a shadow over the reputation he once held.

Matthew Rutledge, 64, appeared in Berkshire Superior Court located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, where he was arraigned on three counts of rape. The charges were brought forward by Melissa Fares, 33, and Hilary Simon, 39, who claim that their former teacher abused them during their time at Miss Hall’s School. The alleged incidents are said to have occurred over a span of ten years, from 2000 to 2010. Rutledge has entered a plea of not guilty.

The accusations detail a harrowing pattern of grooming and repeated abuse, as outlined in statements from the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office. These statements paint a troubling picture of Rutledge’s actions during his tenure at the school.

In a poignant statement released by the District Attorney’s Office, Fares expressed the deep-seated impact of these events on her life. “For a long time, I was living inside trauma without fully understanding it,” she revealed. “It was over the last several years that I began piecing together the truth of what happened to me: that Matt Rutledge had used me, abused me, and raped me. That I had been groomed and threatened into silence by a serial predator. That my youth wasn’t my youth at all.”

Simon said she was 15 years old when Rutledge first began “grooming” her, and that the abuse “continued for years” after she left campus.

“I fought this privately for 20 years,” her statement read. “I have been fighting it publicly for two. Before any of this, I was just a normal person. A lawyer. A wife and a mother. A woman trying to build a life on top of something I had buried. And then Melissa Fares called. I did not know Melissa. I picked up the phone, and I told her I had been waiting for that call for 20 years.”

According to NBC, citing a report prepared for Miss Hall’s School, Rutledge allegedly called out “Make way for Mr. Wonderful” as he moved through the hallways.

Fares and Simon said they discovered in 2024 that they had similar accounts of Rutledge’s alleged abuse and decided to pursue charges together.

Despite their allegations, the district attorney’s office at the time declined to move forward with the case, citing Massachusetts’ age of consent law at the time, which allowed for an adult to have sex with a person over the age of 16, according to the women.

The two women then pushed for legislation to close what they called a “legal loophole” and make it illegal for a teacher to have sex with a student.

Rutledge is now charged under separate rape statutes. Prosecutors have not publicly detailed what led to the decision to charge Rutledge.

Rutledge was indicted by the District Attorney’s office last month.

Speaking at a press conference following the arraignment, Fares claimed to reporters that Miss Hall’s School was aware of Rutledge’s alleged behavior.

“Miss Hall’s School knew,” she said. “This whole school knew. They enabled a culture of abuse for decades. They failed us, our families and every girl trusted them to protect her. They must also be held accountable.”

Miss Hall’s School said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital that it is cooperating with authorities and acknowledged the impact on its community.

“Wednesday’s arraignment was an important and painful moment for our community,” the school said. “We will continue to cooperate fully with authorities. We are sorry for the harm that survivors have experienced and the impact on our community.”

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for June 18, according to WCVB.

Concerns Grow for David Hasselhoff’s Health as He Uses Walker for Support

0

David Hasselhoff, famed for his role in Baywatch, was seen navigating Los Angeles with the aid of a walker on Wednesday. Despite this, the iconic actor is reportedly planning a significant comeback once he fully recovers.

The 73-year-old actor, who was once the epitome of vitality as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon, appeared unsteady while exiting a building alongside his wife, 45-year-old Hayley Roberts.

A stark contrast to his beach-ready image, Hasselhoff opted for a casual look, wearing a sweatshirt and baseball cap, as he gingerly moved across the parking lot.

According to his representative speaking to the Daily Mail, Hasselhoff recently underwent both knee and hip replacement surgeries, which have evidently impacted his mobility.

Although a Baywatch reboot is in development, Hasselhoff has maintained a low profile, making only one public appearance since last July, which has left fans concerned.

However, an insider exclusively told the Daily Mail that the star is recovering and eyeing a major comeback.

‘He is rehabbing and wants to get back to doing a few acting gigs, and he wants to do more music and once he gets better and back to 100 percent, he intends to hit the ground running as one of his goals is to be on Baywatch again,’ the source explained.

‘He would love to make another appearance on the show, and getting better will get him there.’

As Hasselhoff continues his recovery, the source emphasized the adjustment he’s going through, saying: ‘For a man who has always been fit and very active and in shape, his recent surgeries have kicked his ass a bit more than he expected.’

‘Getting old sucks, and it’s catching up to him, but even though he recently looked frail, he’s actually feeling better than he has felt in a long time,’ they continued.

‘He’s healing and being outside is a relief and the perfect remedy for his current shortcomings.’

Just two weeks ago, the actor was seen on a nature hike with Roberts, relying on trekking poles for support.

Although his mobility is improving, Hasselhoff still appears to need some assistance from his wife.

In addition to supporting his arm, Roberts was also seen standing behind him at one point, seemingly steadying him with her hands placed on his sides.

Last July, Hasselhoff had been seen limping through an airport on his way to Cancun, revealing plans for knee surgery.

He was later seen being pushed in a wheelchair by an airline worker.

At the time, a source told the Daily Mail that the actor was ‘living on borrowed time’ after years of hard living.

Hasselhoff, who has faced struggles with alcohol abuse in the past, made headlines in 2007 when a video surfaced of his daughter, Taylor Ann, filming him intoxicated.

In the video, she expressed concern about his drinking affecting his role in a Las Vegas production of The Producers.

Following the video’s release, Hasselhoff explained that his daughter had recorded the footage intentionally, hoping to expose his behavior while drunk.

Just over a year ago, Hasselhoff lost his second wife and Baywatch co-star Pamela Bach to suicide at the age of 61.

The two had married in 1989 and divorced in 2006, but remained close.

Bach’s death was a devastating blow for the actor, who publicly thanked fans for their support during the difficult time.

Amid these personal and health challenges, Hasselhoff is determined to focus on his recovery and is optimistic about a potential return to the upcoming Baywatch series.

In September, Fox announced it would be ‘reimagining’ the beloved show, with a new generation of lifeguards and a 12-episode order for the 2026-2027 season.

The new show will follow Hobie Buchannon (originally played by Jeremy Jackson) as he steps into his father Mitch’s (Hasselhoff’s) iconic role as Baywatch captain.

But not all fans are thrilled about the reboot.

Many were disappointed to see that only Baywatch alum David Chokachi would be reprising his role, though Erika Eleniak has been spotted on set.

And when first-look photos and clips hit the internet, the criticism came fast, with fans calling it a derivative attempt to cash in on the original’s legacy.

The casting of social media influencers like Livvy Dunne and Brooks Nader as the new lifeguards only fueled skepticism, with some feeling the reboot is more about Instagram fame than recapturing the iconic magic of the show.

Add to that the lingering memory of the 2017 Baywatch film, which flopped despite its star-studded cast, including Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, and it is no surprise many fans are holding their breath.

Still, Hasselhoff remains optimistic.

The insider told the Daily Mail that he was eager to lend a hand and help the reboot succeed – if given the chance.

He loves that the show is coming back and he hopes it has the same magic as the original, and if he can help get it there by appearing at some point, even better,’ the source said.
