John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are embracing the Halloween season with their youngest children, Esti and Wren.
On Tuesday, October 20, Teigen posted photos on Instagram from the family’s outing to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch.
In one charming family snapshot, the mother of four poses with 3-year-old Esti, who opens her mouth in a playful expression. Wren, also 3, sits on Legend’s lap with a noticeably less enthusiastic look. A large pumpkin display featuring Frankenstein and his bride stands behind them.
Although the trip produced plenty of memorable photos, Teigen also poked fun at her habit of enthusiastically scheduling family plans.
“Ambitious Chrissy loves to book things that normal Chrissy doesn’t have approval over but we really do love @mrbones so, so much,” she wrote in the caption.
“Halloween is coming too quickly!!” she added.

In another Instagram post, Teigen marked a milestone for Wren: he posed for a picture without making his trademark “scary eyes.”
The heartwarming image shows 10-year-old Luna hugging her younger brother as he smiles broadly at the camera.
“Big day over here as wren has not done scary eyes in a pic for the first time ever!!!! Deserving of a single post on the grid, we knew it could happen one day, we just didn’t realize how soon. thank you to those that made this happen, Luna, Bronwyn, god herself,” Teigen wrote.
Legend responded in the comments, noting the resemblance between Luna and her mother.
“Lu looks so much like Mommy,” the singer wrote.
Legend and Teigen married in 2013 and are also parents to 8-year-old son Miles. The couple regularly shares family moments on social media, including vacations, everyday outings and funny snapshots with their four children.
