Season 34 saw Robert Irwin clinching the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy alongside his professional dance partner, Witney Carson. The competition was fierce, with Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy finishing as runners-up, followed closely by Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa in third place, and Dylan Efron with Daniella Karagach in fourth. Each year, the show’s hosts, judges, and professional dancers eagerly disclose their wish lists for future celebrity competitors, and often, their dreams materialize. As of now, two celebrities have been confirmed for season 35: Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller.
In a lively Instagram post shared by Good Morning America, Witney Carson expressed her hope to see actor Channing Tatum take the stage on Dancing With The Stars. She enthusiastically stated, “I always say Channing Tatum. So I just have to say it, just in case he watches, and he’s like, ‘Okay, yeah, I actually wanna do it.’ Just in case, Channing, you have nothing going on, just come on Dancing With the Stars. It’s gonna be so much fun. I can promise you a good time. It’s gonna be great.”
The Dancing With The Stars Cast Wants Popular Actors To Compete On The Show
In an Instagram post shared by Good Morning America, Witney Carson revealed that she wants actor Channing Tatum to compete on Dancing With The Stars. She said, “I always say Channing Tatum. So I just have to say it, just in case he watches, and he’s like, ‘Okay, yeah, I actually wanna do it.’ Just in case, Channing, you have nothing going on, just come on Dancing With the Stars. It’s gonna be so much fun. I can promise you a good time. It’s gonna be great.”
Witney also hopes to see The Traitors season 4 winner Rob Rausch join Dancing With The Stars, stating, “I think Rob Rausch would be really great. Sounded like he was maybe interested, so we’ll see. Fingers crossed.” In addition, Witney would like anybody from the Marvel Universe to enter the ballroom.
Troupe dancer Hailey Bills dreams of actor Glen Powell joining the show, stating, “I’m obsessed with him, you guys. Like, seriously, I would love that. That’d be amazing.” Pro dancer Ezra Sosa agreed, adding, “I love it. Another guy to thirst over.” Ezra also suggested YouTuber Trisha Paytas, stating, “We’re waiting. It’s long overdue.”
Host Alfonso Ribeiro has a beloved actress in mind: Jennifer Love Hewitt. He said, “You know, I keep saying Jennifer Love Hewitt. I want Jennifer Love on the show. Come on, Jennifer, you can do it.”
Judge Derek Hough wants actress and dancer Jenna Dewan to compete on Dancing With The Stars. He acknowledged that she has a dance background, but stated that it shouldn’t prevent her from joining the show. Derek said, “You know who I wanna see? I wanna see Jenna Dewan. I’m gonna put it out there. I want Jenna Dewan to be on this next season, and I’m calling her out because I know she wants to do it. I know she can do it, and it’d be amazing. She’s such a beautiful person, and she’s a great dancer. But, I think people have this misconception of, like, if you have dance experience, that you can’t be on the show. It’s called Dancing with the Stars, right? And a lot of stars have dance background. They have that in their wheelhouse. So I would love to see her. I would love to see her on the show.”
The Dancing With The Stars Cast Has Music Superstars In Mind For The Show
Ezra would also like to dance with music legend Beyoncé, even though he recognized that she’d probably never join Dancing With The Stars. He said, “I mean, if it were up to me, it’d be Beyoncé, but we all know that’s not gonna happen.” Ezra would also love it if Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter competed on the show with him. He shared, “This is also a stretch, but when Blue Ivy becomes of age, I would love for her to be a partner.”
Hailey dreams of dancing with superstar singer Justin Bieber. She said, “I mean, the ultimate dream … I don’t think this is gonna happen: Justin Bieber.” Hailey joked, “I would pass away, quite literally.”
Pro dancer Daniella Karagach named country singer Kane Brown as a potential partner for Dancing With The Stars. She gushed, “I feel like Kane Brown would be unreal. I love a person with, like, natural swag, and I feel like if they have some swag, I can really make it work. So I feel like he’d be really great.”
Daniella Karagach & Pasha Pashkov Want An Athlete On Dancing With The Stars
Daniella expressed her hope that soccer legend Lionel “Leo” Messi would join Dancing With The Stars in the future because her husband, pro dancer Pasha Pashkov, is such a huge fan of his. She said, “To be honest, I wanna have Leo Messi, ’cause Pasha’s his biggest fan, so he can meet him. I’ll take his wife [Antonella Roccuzzo]. I can dance with his wife.”
Pasha agreed, stating that he’d love to have an athlete join the show because he’s never had one as a celebrity dance partner on Dancing With The Stars. He said, “Leo Messi, just so I can meet him, you know. Somebody from sports. That’d be cool. I’ve never had an athlete, right? That’d be cool to have an athlete, yeah.” Daniella agreed, stating, “That’d be sick.”
The Dancing With The Stars cast members have some fantastic choices for future celebrity competitors. While some of them are long shots, it’s always so much fun to imagine fan-favorite stars competing on the show.
