A federal judge in New York has mandated the disclosure of a letter believed to be a suicide note penned by Jeffrey Epstein to his former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione. The decision came after The New York Times requested to have the document unsealed.

This note had previously been kept confidential within the legal proceedings of Tartaglione’s case, where he was found guilty of committing multiple murders during his time as a police officer.

Judge Kenneth Karas of the U.S. District Court determined that the letter should be released to the public, stating that there was no valid justification to maintain its secrecy.

The handwritten letter from Epstein suggests a connection to earlier investigations and conveys his dissatisfaction, with statements like, “They investigated me for months – found nothing!!!” and concludes with, “Time to say goodbye.” Some parts of the note are challenging to decipher.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
