MEMORISE: Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? – Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV)

READ: John 6:1-14 (KJV)

1 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

3 And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,

9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Chronicles 5-6

Open Heaven 30 April 2026 MESSAGE

Several years ago, we held a Holy Ghost Service at Rowe Park in Lagos, Nigeria. As I was preaching, the word of the Lord came to me, and I said, “There is someone here; you used to have only one testicle, which has now been destroyed. However, God says that He is giving you two new ones.” Suddenly, a young man in the congregation began to shout. He had been born with one testicle, and his parents decided to take him to a herbalist who eventually destroyed the only testicle he had. He shouted because he knew that the word of prophecy was for him. He was a married man, and when he came to my office some months later to share his testimony, he said, “For you to know that God has given me new testicles as He said, let me show them to you.” I told him that there was no need to show me because the result of the miracle he had received was obvious – he had come to share his testimony with his wife, who was visibly pregnant.

There is no difficult problem with God. In today’s memory verse, God said that nothing is too hard for Him. There is no case that is too complex for God to resolve. When you go through the Scriptures, you will see various instances where God handled issues that seemed complex or hopeless. In today’s Bible reading, for example, He fed more than five thousand people with just five loaves of bread and two small fishes. He also raised a man who had been dead and buried for four days from his grave (John 11:1-44). Likewise, in Cana of Galilee, the Lord Jesus Christ turned water into wine at a wedding when the wine ran out (John 2:1-11). Luke 1:37 tells us that there is no impossibility with the Almighty God.

Beloved, you should never allow the presence of seemingly hopeless situations in your life to bring you to a state where you give up. If you are faced with such situations, instead of sinking into despair, put your trust in the Lord. The Bible says in Romans 10:11 that those who believe in God will never be put to shame. Tell Him about the situation, and rest assured that He will do the impossible. I decree that the Lord will save you from any situation in your life that may appear hopeless or too difficult to handle, in Jesus’ name.

Open Heaven 30 April 2026 KEY POINT

Never allow yourself to sink into despair; rather, trust God to do the impossible.

Open Heaven 30 April 2026 HYMN 16 – Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus

1 ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord.”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!

2 O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

3 Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.

4 I’m so glad I learn’d to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend,
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

DCLM Daily Manna 30 April 2026 — Don’t Distort God’s Word

DCLM Daily Manna 30 April 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Don’t Distort God’s Word

TOPIC: Don’t Distort God’s Word (DCLM Daily Manna 30 April 2026)

KEY VERSE: For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ – 2 Corinthians 2:17

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2:16, 17 (KJV)

2 Corinthians 2:16
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

2 Corinthians 2:17
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

The deliberate distortion of the message of a diplomatic dispatch, Ems Telegram, caused the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. Early that year, the vacant Spanish throne was offered to Prince Leopold of the Hohenzollern dynasty which also ruled Prussia. The French Emperor, Napoleon III, worried about the extension of Prussian influence to Spain, voiced his concerns to King Wilhelm 1 of Prussia. The king agreed to withdraw his support for Prince Leopold. However, he courteously declined to give a written guarantee to the French ambassador, Benedetti. The Prussian king later sent a telegram to his Chancellor, Otto Von Bismarck, to brief him on the development. Bismarck mischievously altered the telegram to create the impression that the king and the ambassador were disrespectful of each other. The inflamed emotion led to war.

In our text, Apostle Paul contrasts his ministry with those mixing the words of Christ with Jewish traditions and the Law of Moses. The hallmark of a faithful preacher, he stresses, is to boldly and sincerely focus on the message as received from God.

In our age, some adulterate the word of God by subtracting from or adding to it or through outright misrepresentation. However, faithfully translating the Bible into local languages does not amount to corrupting the Scripture. It is only an attempt to take the gospel to people in languages they best understand, and can therefore easily respond to its injunctions. Similarly, selecting a few Bible passages as references for a message, where there are many others, cannot mean subtracting from the word of God, nor does the use of contemporary illustrations in preaching constitute an addition to the Word. We add to the word of God by introducing human fads, fancies and false interpretations. Some subtract from the word of God when they routinely skip messages that could make people uncomfortable, sad or fearful, such as repentance, restitution, God’s judgment or even hellfire. The preacher of the Word must be faithful to the message sent from heaven, to avoid incurring the wrath of God.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
To add or subtract from the word of God is to assume preeminence that no man possesses.

Rhapsody Of Realities 30 April 2026: Activate Your Spirit Through Meditation

Rhapsody Of Realities 30 April 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Activate Your Spirit Through Meditation

TOPIC: Activate Your Spirit Through Meditation (Rhapsody of Realities 30 April 2026)

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night… (Joshua 1:8).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Truth isn’t powerful just because it’s in the Bible. It only becomes effective when it’s active in your spirit. The Word must move beyond the written pages and become alive in you, and that happens through meditation. It’s through meditation that you condition your spirit with the Word for it to be operative in your life.

There are three vital levels of meditation. The first is rumination, where you ponder, mull over, and digest the Word in your heart. You give it thoughtful attention and consider its meaning deeply. The second level is when you begin to speak or mutter the Word under your breath. You’re talking quietly, speaking the Word. Those around you may not hear what you’re saying, but your lips are moving, you’re talking.

The third level is when you “roar” the Word; you shout it! You speak it boldly, out loud. At this stage, you’re no longer concerned about your environment, if there’re other people present or not; the Word has taken hold of your spirit. Hallelujah! Meditating on the Word like this is so important because the more you meditate, the more your spirit is conditioned by the Word. Your fears melt away, your boldness grows, and your personality is beautified with the glory of God.

Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Keep saturating your spirit with the Word of God (Colossians 3:16) and out of that abundance your mouth will necessarily speak: “…out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matthew 12:34). Then you’ll see the glory of God manifested in every area of your life.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that builds and conditions my spirit for victory, success and glory. As I meditate on your Word, I’m transformed from within; fear is gone, doubt is displaced, and my boldness rises. My personality is transformed by the glory of your Word, and I walk in power and dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Joshua 1:8 (AMPC) This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

1 Timothy 4:15 (KJV)
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Discover What MAGA Women Truly Think About Erika Kirk

In September 2025, Erika Kirk faced a life-altering tragedy when her husband, Charlie Kirk, a well-known supporter of Trump and influential Republican figure, was assassinated. This devastating event drew widespread sympathy across political boundaries. Despite the initial outpouring of support, Erika’s actions in the aftermath have been scrutinized. Her high-profile appearance and fashion choices have sparked intense debate, with critics questioning her way of mourning. Surprisingly, the scrutiny isn’t solely from political opponents; even figures like former Fox News host Megyn Kelly have defended Erika, while also acknowledging the skepticism surrounding Charlie’s murder investigation, a narrative Erika herself has rejected.

Nevertheless, Erika has found unwavering support within the MAGA community, particularly among prominent women. Lara Trump, married to Eric Trump, has been vocal in her defense, urging an end to unfounded theories suggesting Erika’s involvement in Charlie’s death. On her podcast, “The Right View,” Lara expressed her dismay at the relentless attacks on Erika, condemning any suggestions of her complicity as “horrific” and “disgusting.” She emphatically rejected the idea that Erika played a role in her husband’s tragic end.

The support for Erika extends beyond Lara Trump. Former First Lady Melania Trump, usually reserved in her public comments, took to social media to offer words of encouragement to Erika and her children. In a heartfelt post, Melania empathized with the family’s loss, emphasizing the void left by Charlie’s absence and underscoring the enduring significance of his life as a symbol of love, family, and patriotism.

Additionally, Kathryn Limbaugh, widow of the late conservative host Rush Limbaugh, has also voiced her support for Erika. At the Turning Point Action conference in April 2026, Kathryn commended Erika for her resilience and dedication to continuing Charlie’s legacy. She highlighted the challenges Erika faces as she raises her children and carries forward her husband’s mission. Kathryn urged critics to consider the emotional toll on Erika, reminding them of the importance of empathy over judgment.

What Melania Trump has said about Erika Kirk

First lady Melania Trump may not be nearly as opinionated as her husband, President Donald Trump, but she speaks up about things she feels strongly about. And Erika Kirk once made her list. Following Charlie Kirk’s death, Melania took to X to shower Erika and her kids with encouragement. “Charlie’s children will be raised with stories instead of memories, photographs instead of laughter, and silence where their father’s voice should have echoed,” she wrote. “Charlie Kirk’s life should serve as a symbolic reminder that compassionate awareness elevates family, love, and country,” she continued.

Kathryn Limbaugh, the wife of the late Rush Limbaugh, a Republican host, has also expressed support for Erika. In April 2026, Kathryn spoke at a Turning Point Action conference and shared a few words of support for Erika. “Not only is she raising a young family in a way she didn’t dream of, she’s continuing Charlie’s mission and bringing many young students along with her,” she said. “Anyone who criticizes Erika for how she grieves or how she moves forward should pause and think for a minute about the humanity of that.” She went on to say that, although many people claim to have compassion, they move from a judgmental place.

Kathryn concluded her speech by lavishing Erika with compliments, claiming that Charlie married a “strong, smart, beautiful soul.”

Pentagon Unveils Initial Estimate of U.S. Expenditure in Iran Conflict

0

In brief

  • Pentagon officials have fronted a US congressional committee, facing questions about the cost of the war in the Middle East.
  • Defence secretary Pete Hegseth said the cost was justified given the US goal of preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

The financial toll of the United States’ involvement in the Middle East conflict has reached approximately US$25 billion (AU$35 billion), according to a high-ranking Pentagon official. This disclosure marks the first time an official estimate has been provided for the military expenditure associated with the ongoing war.

As the country approaches midterm elections, President Donald Trump’s Republican Party faces significant challenges in retaining control of the House of Representatives. Meanwhile, the Democrats are gaining momentum in the polls by emphasizing the financial burdens of the unpopular conflict with Iran.

Jules Hurst, who is currently acting as the Pentagon’s comptroller, informed members of the House Armed Services Committee that a substantial portion of these funds has been allocated to munitions.

However, Hurst did not elaborate on whether this financial assessment includes anticipated expenses for reconstructing and repairing military bases in the Middle East that have been damaged due to hostilities.

Responding to Hurst’s statement, Representative Adam Smith, the leading Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee, expressed relief: “I’m glad you answered that question. Because we’ve been asking for a hell of a long time, and no one’s given us the number.”

The $25 billion cost is equal to the entire budget of NASA for this year.

But it is unclear how the Pentagon arrived at the $25 billion amount given that a source had told Reuters last month that the Trump administration estimated that the first six days of the war had cost the US at least US$11.3 billion ($15.8 billion).

Defence secretary defends war

Defence secretary Pete Hegseth repeatedly clashed with congressional Democrats over the Iran war on Wednesday, in his first testimony to Congress since Trump launched the conflict two months ago.

Appearing before the House Armed Services Committee, Hegseth quickly struck a combative tone, saying in his opening remarks that the main challenge at this point is the “defeatist words of congressional Democrats and some Republicans”.

He told the committee that the cost was justified, given the US goal of ensuring Iran would not have a nuclear weapon.

“What would you pay to ensure Iran does not get a nuclear bomb? What would you pay?” Hegseth asked.

Smith took aim at the regional fallout from the war and its toll on both US troops as well as civilians, saying he wanted answers on where the conflict is going and “the plan to achieve our objectives”.

Representative John Garamendi, another Democrat, accused Hegseth of “lying to the American public about this war from day one”, describing events in the Middle East as a “geopolitical calamity, a strategic blunder, resulting in worldwide economic crisis”.

“Critical munitions have been expended at an alarming rate, depleting magazine levels below what is thought necessary to hold China at bay,” said Garamendi, also describing the conflict as a “quagmire”.

Hegseth sought to defend the war more broadly in fiery remarks, saying it was not a quagmire and attacking Democratic representatives as “feckless and defeatist” for criticising the unpopular conflict.

Midterms loom amid affordability crunch

The US and Israel started carrying out strikes against Iran on 28 February and the two sides are currently maintaining a fragile ceasefire.

The Pentagon has poured tens of thousands of additional forces into the Middle East, including keeping three aircraft carriers in the region.

Thirteen US troops have been killed in the conflict and hundreds wounded.

Few issues resonate with US voters more deeply than price increases, and the latest inflationary upswing is unsettling Republican insiders worried about their party’s prospects before November midterm elections that will determine control of the House and possibly the Senate.

Disruptions in shipments of oil and natural gas since the war started have caused a run-up in US gasoline prices and agricultural products such as fertilisers, on top of the long list of other high consumer prices.

The average US gasoline price on Tuesday rose to its highest level in nearly four years, according to data from the American Automobile Association.

Trump’s popularity has taken a beating since the US and Israel launched the war against Iran, which spread into neighbouring nations.

Just 34 per cent of Americans approve of the US conflict with Iran, down from 36 per cent in mid-April and 38 per cent in mid-March, a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

Legendary Outlaw Country Icon David Allan Coe Passes Away at 86: Remembering the Music Maverick’s Legacy

David Allan Coe, a prominent figure in the outlaw country music scene, known for his rebellious spirit and hits like “You Never Even Called Me by My Name” and “The Ride,” has died at the age of 86.

As reported by Music Universe, Coe passed away in intensive care after battling “declining health” for several years. A representative expressed, “David was a musical treasure,” adding that he cherished his fans deeply.

Coe’s legacy is firmly rooted in his significant contributions to the “outlaw country” genre.

This subgenre emerged from the 1970s “outlaw movement,” which featured artists like Willie Nelson and the late Waylon Jennings. It celebrated themes of defying authority and embracing an unfiltered lifestyle.

Throughout his life, Coe spent several years incarcerated for offenses including grand theft auto and possession of burglary tools. He notably claimed in a Rolling Stone interview to have killed a fellow inmate with a mop bucket in 1963.

Rolling Stone described him as “wildly eccentric” throughout his life. He drove a hearse while wearing a Lone Ranger mask.

Coe also composed music for performers such as Tanya Tucker and Johnny Paycheck. Paycheck’s “Take This Job and Shove It,” which peaked at number one in 1977, and Tucker’s “Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone),” which also peaked at number one in 1973, both credited to him.

According to Music Universe, his own songs were frequently deemed too “wild” for radio because of their graphic, vulgar, and occasionally racist lyrics. For a long time, Coe had defended the racist lyrics as jokes and parodies.

Georgia Inmate Claims Neglect at Atlanta Jail Resulted in Amputations

0

A Georgia resident claimed on Wednesday that he experienced profound trauma due to extreme medical neglect at an Atlanta jail, notorious for its unsanitary conditions. This neglect allegedly resulted in the amputation of his fingers and lower legs.

Rashaad Muhammad was detained in August and taken to the Fulton County Jail, where he asserts that medical personnel neglected to provide necessary antibiotics and other medical supplies, despite his repeated requests, according to his legal representatives.

Within a mere two weeks, his health had worsened to the point where he could no longer stand. He was then transferred to a hospital, where doctors informed him that amputation was essential to save his life.

“I’m not okay. Every day is a battle, a struggle,” Muhammad shared, speaking from a wheelchair at a press briefing outside the jail following a discussion with Sheriff Pat Labat.

Civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who is representing Muhammad, said the meeting with the sheriff at the jail was like “coming back to a nightmare that you pray every day isn’t real,” adding that the treatment Muhammad received was “the very definition of deliberate indifference” and violated his constitutional rights.

The Fulton County Jail has faced numerous issues over the years, which led the U.S. Department of Justice to initiate a civil rights probe into jail conditions in 2023. The investigation revealed prisoners were housed in filthy and unsafe conditions that violated their constitutional rights.

The DOJ and county officials announced a year ago that they had entered into a court-enforceable consent decree. An independent monitor has been visiting the county’s jails and recording the issues and any progress in resolving them.

Crump argued that the Fulton County Board of Commissioners bears significant blame for what happened to Muhammad since its members were made aware of the problems but did not take action.

He suggested the county needs a new jail, a move the sheriff has supported.

Earlier this month, the board of commissioners voted to borrow up to $1.3 billion for jail improvements, including a new special purpose facility and renovations at the current main jail.

Crump also blamed the jail’s medical provider, NaphCare, alleging that its employees, as well as jail guards, ignored Muhammad’s calls for help.

He said NaphCare should not be providing medical services at the jail after another man held at the facility died in a bedbug-infested cell in 2022.

Muhammad said his meeting with the sheriff was “productive” but “not enough.”

Crump said he and his client asked for a criminal investigation into the events leading to the amputations.

Muhammad’s legal team is collecting details and exploring “every possible legal remedy” to secure justice for Muhammad and to hold those responsible accountable, Crump said.

Another one of his attorneys, Liza Park, said he uses a catheter for a chronic bladder condition that makes him very susceptible to infection and that he constantly brings necessary antibiotics and other medical supplies with him.

Muhammad was in jail in connection with a shooting on Aug. 11. He called 911, according to Park, but when police arrived, they arrested him on aggravated assault and gun possession charges. He told officers as he was being taken into custody that he required the antibiotics and medical supplies that were in his car, Park said.

He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was cleared to be taken to the jail, his lawyers said. He repeatedly told the medical staff at the jail that he needed antibiotics and other medical supplies. As his condition worsened, other inmates also urged jail and medical staff to help him.

Muhammad was in “severe medical distress” when he was moved back to the hospital on Aug. 22, according to Crump.

After he woke up from a coma a couple of weeks later, Muhammad’s hands and legs had become so infected that doctors told him that his fingers and lower legs would need to be amputated, saying it was a matter of “life over limbs,” Crump said.

Muhammad spent months in the hospital and had multiple surgeries.

The criminal charges against him were dropped while he was in the hospital, Park said.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office for comment.

Cartier Heir Maximilien de Hoop Cartier Sentenced to 8 Years for $470 Million Cryptocurrency Drug Money Scheme

0

Let’s uncover some tarnished gems in the world of finance.

A member of the Cartier jewelry lineage has been handed an eight-year prison sentence by a federal court after admitting to managing an unlicensed cryptocurrency exchange that laundered over $470 million from drug trafficking activities.

Maximilien de Hoop Cartier, a French national who also pursues a music career under the moniker “Max Cartier,” received his sentence in a Manhattan federal court on Tuesday. He previously pleaded guilty in October to charges of running an unlicensed money-transmitting operation and conspiracy to commit bank fraud.

The 58-year-old Cartier orchestrated the laundering scheme through a network of U.S.-based shell companies masquerading as legitimate software and technology firms. These entities, with names such as Bullpix Solutions, Softmill LLC, and VC Innovated, were used to channel funds to Colombia, as explained by federal prosecutors.

These companies were purely a front to handle and transfer international drug profits, converting cryptocurrency from drug cartels into traditional cash.

To fool banks, Cartier used forged contracts and invoices making it appear the firms were doing legitimate tech work. He deliberately broke transactions into chunks to avoid bank scrutiny.

The scheme, dubbed the “Cartier Cell” by feds, dates back to at least 2018.

The jewelry heir told an undercover FBI agent he considered a New York City hotel his second home, where he handled his crypto clients, lawyers and banks.

In 2021, DEA agents seized nearly $940,000 from his accounts after funneling drug proceeds into them through an undercover operation.

Cartier then walked into the US Attorney’s office in Pennsylvania with forged business records and talked prosecutors into returning a portion of the money before agents built the case that ultimately put him away.

Cartier, a French resident and Argentine citizen, was ordered to pay $2,362,160 in forfeiture — his cut of the laundering operation — and forfeit several shell company bank accounts.

US Attorney John Clayton said that the Cartier “exploited his knowledge of US and international financial systems to launder drug money and other crime proceeds.”

Cartier’s social media advertises his music career, including his new single, “Somos Novios.”
