Britney Spears was notably absent from her niece’s high school graduation, but the event witnessed a heartwarming family gathering with her parents, sister, and son in attendance.

The Daily Mail provided snapshots of the family dressed in their finest as they celebrated 17-year-old Maddie Aldridge’s milestone achievement.

Despite undergoing a leg amputation in 2023 due to an infection, Britney’s father made it to the ceremony, looking sharp in a gray suit. Her mother, Lynne Spears, 71, donned a sophisticated cream dress paired with a matching blazer.

Jamie Lynn, 35, was captured shedding tears of joy as she watched her daughter during the ceremony. She opted for a stylish black mini dress accentuated with white puff sleeves for the occasion.

Britney’s 20-year-old son, Sean Preston, who she co-parents with ex-husband Kevin Federline, joined the celebration in a casual white polo shirt. He was seen proudly displaying a photograph of his cousin amid the graduation festivities.

The outlet reported that Jamie Lynn’s youngest child Ivey Watson, 8, pushed her 73-year-old grandfather’s wheelchair through the crowd.

A rep for the “Baby One More Time” singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.

The rare gathering comes amid drama for Britney, who earlier this month pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in her DUI case following her March 4 arrest.

The pop princess, 44, accepted a “wet reckless” offer — meaning a reduced charge typically extended to first-time offenders, or in cases involving no crash or injuries or low blood alcohol levels.

Britney’s attorney entered a guilty plea to the lesser charge at her arraignment. The “Toxic” songstress is required to attend a three month alcohol school, and she was handed a one year informal probationary grant.

“Through her plea today, Britney has accepted responsibility for her conduct,” her attorney Michael Goldstein told Page Six following the hearing.

“She has taken significant steps to implement positive change which is clearly reflected in the Ventura County District Attorney’s decision to reduce the charge in this case and dismiss the DUI. Britney appreciates this discretion and is also grateful for the outpouring of support she has received.”

On Thursday, April 30, prosecutors filed one misdemeanor count of “driving under the influence of any alcohol and drug” against Spears.

The Grammy winning singer voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility on April 12, a decision an insider previously told Page Six was “her own choice.”

“This isn’t about one substance in particular, it has a dual purpose….this is about Britney putting her mental health first and taking some time for herself to focus on the things that are important to her.” the source explained.

A source divulged to Page Six that Britney is “doing really well” after completing rehab on April 29.

Britney’s absence at the family reunion, however, again raises questions as to where she stands with the rest of the Spears clan. Sean Preston recently changed his name to “Sean P Spears” via Instagram, indicating a closer relationship with his famous mom.

But a source told Page Six in March that Britney is “antagonized” by the possibility of her father re-entering her life following her restrictive conservatorship — headed by Jamie — which was finally lifted in 2021.

“There is long-term hatred and loathing that may never be overcome,” the source told us us. “Jamie puts Britney on edge, and her moods get deeply dark around the prospect of him being in her life … despite efforts by people in her life for some reunion.”

In September, a source described Britney’s relationship with her mother as “very fragile.”

“[Lynne] reaches out to Britney for the most part,” they claimed. “They talk and text every few weeks. [There are] no plans for [her] mom to visit anytime soon.”

Her relationship with her only sister is seemingly on the mend, with Us Weekly’s source noting in September that they “are doing better, and they’re planning on getting together soon.”

Britney and her brother Bryan Spears, 49, were described by the source as “still close.” They added, “He stays out of her issues with the rest of the family.”
