Kylie Jenner Faces Lawsuit as Former Housekeeper Alleges Plea for Assistance Was Ignored

0

In a new development from Los Angeles, Kylie Jenner finds herself at the center of legal controversy as a former housekeeper has taken action against her. The lawsuit, which was officially filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, accuses the reality TV star of allowing cruel and unusual treatment to occur within her employment environment.

On Wednesday, Juana Delgado Soto initiated this legal action not only against Kylie Jenner but also her corporate entity, Kylie Jenner Inc., as well as staff supervisor Itzel Sibrian, Tri Star Services, and La Maison Family Services. This lawsuit follows closely on the heels of a similar case brought by another member of Jenner’s cleaning staff just last week.

Soto claims she reached out to Jenner directly through a letter, detailing the abuse she endured from other staff members on Jenner’s payroll, highlighting the toxic work environment she faced.

The 31st Critics Choice Awards were held Sunday, kicking off the first awards show of the year.

The allegations within the lawsuit include racial discrimination, harassment, and failure to pay due wages. It points particularly to Sibrian, Soto’s direct supervisor, accusing her of ridiculing Soto’s English proficiency, allegedly mocking her by laughing, calling her “stupid,” and questioning her ability to speak English properly.

Further, the lawsuit outlines that in early June 2024, Sibrian purportedly retaliated against Soto for her previous complaints. This retaliation allegedly manifested as harsher treatment, a reduction in pay from $41.66 per hour to $35.00 per hour without justification, a change in her work schedule eliminating overtime, and the imposition of unreasonable workloads.

Jenner’s team said the beauty mogul had not yet seen the the court filing and declined to comment.

CBS Slashes Episode Counts for Select Shows Ahead of Fall 2026: Here’s Why

CBS has reduced the number of episodes for various television series as it prepares for the fall 2026 lineup.

Notably, the network has rescheduled the premieres for Ghosts, Matlock, and NCIS: Sydney, pushing them to debut in 2027 during the midseason period. These shows will be joined by the much-anticipated new series Einstein, which is also set to make its debut in 2027.

The timeslot initially reserved for Matlock will now be occupied by Elsbeth, making way for Cupertino to launch on the same evening. Meanwhile, NCIS: Sydney will transition to a midseason slot as NCIS: Origins — which will have a reduced episode count — steps in to complement NCIS: New York.

Beyond NCIS: Origins, other series, including Fire Country, will also experience a significant decrease in their episode numbers.

Yellowstone's Marshals Tops Tracker as CBS' Most-Watched Show

Fans of CBS will notice a revamped look for the fall 2026 schedule, following unexpected adjustments to several of its shows. The network shared its revised lineup on Wednesday, April 15, highlighting these notable shifts. Ghosts, Matlock, and NCIS: Sydney are among those affected, with their premieres now slated for a 2027 midseason launch, joining the upcoming series Einstein.

CBS also found success with new additions such as Yellowstone spinoff Marshals, which was picked up for season 2 after its premiere was watched by 20.6 million viewers within seven days. It marked the most-watched network original series premiere without a football lead-in since 2017.

“Marshals delivered a breakout performance, capturing a massive audience across platforms and quickly establishing itself as one of TV’s most powerful new series,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said in a statement. “The overwhelming viewer response speaks to the strength of the Yellowstone world, the bold, character-driven storytelling from the creative team and the dynamic cast performances led by Luke Grimes.”

According to a press release, CBS had several wins with Marshals and Justin Hartley‘s Tracker. Both shows came out as the top two most‑watched during their premiere week. The debut of Luke Grimes‘ spinoff, meanwhile, ranked as CBS’ most-streamed episode ever on Paramount+.

Boston Blue and Sheriff Country also scored quick season 2 pickups, with Sheriff Country averaging 7.6 million viewers and Blue Bloods bringing in 8 million viewers and winning “every Friday night in total viewers.”

Maureen Callahan Critiques Met Gala, Calling It a Disservice to Princess Diana’s Legacy

0

The Met Gala is experiencing an unprecedented twist: Anna Wintour appears to take a backseat, her successor is barely mentioned, and the usual crowd of A-list celebrities is noticeably sparse.

And honestly, who could really fault them?

Hosted by the power couple behind Amazon Prime Whole Foods, Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos, this year’s event is set to unfold as a spectacle—albeit for reasons that may not be entirely positive.

Reflect on a time when a royal visit from the King and Queen of England might have been designed around attending the Met Gala.

Indeed, it was at this prestigious event that Princess Diana made her notable appearance three decades ago, in 1996, after her divorce.

She shimmered and slightly scandalized in a custom, deep blue Dior slip dress by John Galliano, accessorized with a seven-strand sapphire and pearl choker, and a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings, the latter inherited by Kate Middleton.

Galliano later talked about what Diana wanted to convey with her look that night.

‘We went to Kensington Palace and discussed drawings,’ Galliano said in the 2024 documentary In Vogue: The 90s.

‘I was trying to push for pink, but she was not having it,’ Galliano said. ”No, not the pink!” That was real, real fun.’

Jeff Bezos has effectively purchased the Gala for his blushing bride, that great vulgarian Lauren Sanchez, and it is she who will be standing atop the Met steps

Instead, Diana wanted to show the world, on fashion’s biggest stage, the life she was carving out for herself: free from royal strictures, independent, feminine, youthful and a bit rebellious.

Galliano himself said he gasped when he saw Diana arrive at the event: ‘I couldn’t believe it. She’d ripped the corset out. She didn’t want to wear the corset. She felt so liberated… The dress was much more… sensuous.’

Diana attended with the brilliant British fashion editor Liz Tilberis, then in charge of Harper’s Bazaar and co-chair of the event with Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

Back then, it didn’t matter whether a fashion house or high-end advertiser could afford one of the $350,000 tables – you had to have Anna’s consent to attend.

And even then, Anna also had veto power over what every guest wore – each look crossed her desk for approval.

Flash forward thirty years, and the Met Gala is a shell of itself.

Anna is no longer editor-in-chief of Vogue, having anointed a far less stylish, glamorous, talented successor in Chloe Malle, the nepo-spawn of actress Candice Bergen and late French film director Louis Malle.

Such a frump is Chloe that she recently took to CNN to deny reports that Anna had staged an emergency ‘fashion intervention’ for her.

‘Yeah, I dress different than Anna does, and maybe that’s confusing for people,’ Chloe said. ‘The fact that that leans a bit towards ‘if Katharine Hepburn was a librarian’ is just something people are going to have to deal with.’

Heresy!

Not that it really matters, because neither Anna nor Chloe are in charge of the Met Gala – which is reportedly struggling to sell tables this year – anymore.

No: Jeff Bezos has effectively purchased it for his blushing bride, that great vulgarian Lauren Sanchez, and it is she who will be standing atop the Met steps in what will surely be a cleavage-baring, tacky, overwrought look – because Lauren, it’s reported, will not be following the rules.

She will not, one surmises, be submitting her look for Anna’s prior approval.

Imagine, given that this year’s theme is, nominally, ‘Costume Art’ – but really, the theme is The Body.

Such a frump is Chloe that she recently took to CNN to deny reports that Anna had staged an emergency 'fashion intervention' for her

Such a frump is Chloe that she recently took to CNN to deny reports that Anna had staged an emergency ‘fashion intervention’ for her

‘The Naked Body,’ ‘The Pregnant Body,’ ‘The Classical Body’ – all excuses for rampant exhibitionism.

Those Ozempic’d Hollywood figures will surely use this theme as the excuse it is to dress nearly nude.

Among the official ‘host committee’: The morbidly obese Lena Dunham, whose latest memoir is a screed against us all for judging – what else? – her body; the aforementioned dud Chloe Malle; the overexposed Teyana Taylor, last seen putting director Paul Thomas Anderson in a headlock while taking the stage at the Oscars; and Elizabeth Debicki, most famous for playing Princess Diana in The Crown.

The official co-chairs: Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, Beyoncé (who gave us one of the best Met Gala memes, standing in the corner of an elevator as her sister Solange beat Jay-Z leaving an afterparty) and Anna herself, gripping onto what’s left of her power with white knuckles.

How fitting that all of this, high fashion’s last gasp, is playing out as The Devil Wears Prada 2 opens this weekend.

Star Meryl Streep, who plays the Anna manqué Miranda Priestly, will not be in attendance.

Why bother? Meryl’s been flogging this sequel for months. She even appears alongside Anna on Vogue’s May cover – further proof of Anna’s diminished power.

Back when the orginal film was announced, plenty of actresses passed on it, so terrified were they of Anna’s wrath. They couldn’t risk exile from the pages of Vogue, or a vaunted Vogue cover or an exclsuive fashion show or an invite to, yes, the Met Gala.

Same with the big fashion deisgners and houses, most of whom declined to lend clothes, accessories or branding. The late Valentino was a notable exception, appearing in the original as himself.

So how karmically poetic that now Anna needs ‘TDWP2’ more than the movie needs her.

How poetic that star Anne Hathaway has walked back her statement that she insisted the movie cast non ‘traditional’ models – meaning not underfed, rail-thin, GLP-1 addicts – and then walked that right back.

‘Nobody lost their jobs,’ Hathaway said. ‘In fact, it created more jobs… Isn’t it better when you see so many types of bodies up there?’

No, it’s not, because the Era of Ozempic has proven that body positivity is a lie, just like everything the Met Gala once claimed to represent: Good taste, elitism and restraint.

Wait – we must amend that! Reports have it that Meghan Markle, seemingly uninvited yet again, is ‘convinced’ that her invitation will be arriving any minute.

Now that’s some fashion world snobbery we can get behind.

Expert Analysis: Cole Allen’s Train Journey Diaries Unveil Mindset of Alleged Trump Assassination Plotter

0

In a recent court filing, prosecutors revealed insights into Cole Allen’s mindset as he allegedly plotted to assassinate President Donald Trump. The 31-year-old stands accused of attempting the act during the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., last weekend.

The documents indicate that Allen embarked on an Amtrak journey on April 21, purchasing a one-way ticket from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., with a brief stopover in Chicago. Throughout his trip, prosecutors claim Allen maintained a digital journal on his phone, capturing his reflections and observations as he traveled cross-country.

However, these notes did not directly reference any assassination plot. Instead, they, along with a subsequent manifesto, revealed a mind brimming with disjointed thoughts. A former FBI behavioral analyst described Allen’s mindset as “scattered,” underscoring the discord between his musings and the seriousness of his alleged intentions.

Following an alleged shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 25, 2026, law enforcement apprehended Cole Allen. The incident drew national attention, and a photo of the arrest was shared by President Trump on Truth Social.

During his initial train journey, while traveling through the southwestern United States, Allen noted, “the southwest desert in spring. Distant wind turbines looming like snowy mountains across the hazy NM desert,” providing a glimpse into his thought process at the time.

Of Chicago, where he would switch trains and board a second train to his final destination, Allen wrote that, “Chicago is cool; kinda like an Iowa small town was scaled up to LA size.” Of the sliver of southwestern Pennsylvania through which he would pass, he wrote that the “woods are awesome (look like vast fairy lands filled with tiny trickling creeks in spring apparently.”

Allen arrived in Washington, D.C. early in the afternoon on Friday, April 24. He spent about 30 hours in the city before initiating his alleged attack.

Surveillance video from the Washington Hilton hotel, also released by the Department of Justice, showed Allen apparently pacing through hallways, once entering the hotel’s fitness center and taking a look around before hastily exiting.

Minutes before the attack, a pre-scheduled email from Allen was sent to his family and friends, explaining his actions, according to authorities.

He allegedly acknowledged that his mission would likely severely harm him at the least, but never stated that he was willing to die for his cause. His motivations were political, and he painted himself as a savior of the oppressed. He apologized profusely to family, friends and everyone he had come in contact with on his cross-country trek. He noted that there were certain people he hoped wouldn’t be caught in the crossfire, and described himself as “friendly.”

Jonny Grusing served as a special agent in the FBI’s Denver Field Office for 25 years. For 13 of those years, he was the Behavioral Analysis Unit coordinator for the division.

“His flippancy of what he was talking about in the train or writing about, coincides with what he writes in his manifesto as, ‘hello everybody, so I may have given a lot of people a surprise today,’” said Grusing. “I mean, that’s not someone who’s singularly focused on a grievance.”

“I would say he was conflicted. He’s apologizing to everyone, even people that he rode along the [train] with, which he’s not harming them in any way,” said Grusing. “But he’s apologizing to the people at work, he’s apologizing to his family and he’s apologizing to the people he might have to do violence to. Whether that’s him trying to convince whoever reads this, that he’s a not a bad person or that he’s conflicted … that’s not someone to me who seems single-minded that he’s going to be successful in his mission.”

Grusing said Allen seemed “scattered,” and described him as a narcissist.

“The profiling unit taught us about dangerous human characteristics and the two I think that would apply to Mr. Allen are narcissism and psychopathy,” he said. “I think he’s become more narcissistic just from his writings, in saying that, ‘this is on me,’ ‘this is my problem,’ [and] ‘I have to act.’”

“And then even him trying to manage other people’s perception of him, like the people that rode on the train with him and helped him with his luggage, they weren’t affected by this at all,” said Grusing. “But yet he feels like he’s impacting all of society by doing what he’s doing, which again, that’s what makes me think, when he makes these little statements and apologies to everyone, he’s saying, ‘I’m going to become a national name by doing this. Look at me.’”

“So he’s putting himself as this martyr, as this patriot, as the only one who can really fix this thing that’s broken, and that’s very dangerous.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Allen’s attorney.

It comes after Jackie, who reportedly earns $10million a year after signing a historic $200million 10-year radio deal, revealed where her immense fortune will go when she dies.

She discussed the details of her will with co-host Kyle Sandilands back in March and said she will be leaving her entire estate to her 13-year-old daughter Kitty.

‘I couldn’t imagine not leaving everything to my daughter. Why wouldn’t I want to give her the best start in life?’ Jackie began.

According to a report from last year, Jackie had a net worth of over $50million which continues to grow to this day.

However, Jackie added there would be some conditions to ensure her daughter’s inheritance was not squandered.

‘She can’t just have it all at once. She can’t be 18 and have everything, I don’t want that. I’m going to drip feed her,’ she said.

‘When you are 18 or 21 you are not that sensible with money. She gets some at 18, then at 25 and all of it at 30.’

Controversial NY Parole Bills Could Release Infamous Killers: ‘Son of Sam’ & John Lennon’s Assassin

0

There is growing concern that some of the most notorious criminals, including Mark David Chapman, who assassinated John Lennon, and the infamous “Son of Sam” serial killer, David Berkowitz, could be released if new parole legislation is enacted in Albany. Critics have raised alarms about two bills that could significantly alter the current parole system.

The first proposal, known as the Elder Parole bill, would allow violent offenders to bypass their minimum sentences. This bill proposes that individuals who have reached the age of 55 and served at least 15 years of their sentences could be eligible for early parole hearings, irrespective of the gravity of their offenses.

The second legislative proposal, the Fair and Timely Parole bill, aims to mandate that the state parole board release prisoners unless they are deemed a “current” threat to public safety. This measure would apply regardless of the severity of the crimes committed by the inmates.

Critics argue that these bills, if passed, could pave the way for the release of dangerous criminals, even those who have been sentenced to life imprisonment. A law enforcement source expressed concerns, stating, “Consider some of the most heinous and noteworthy people in prison today; they will undoubtedly be released within the next two years if these bills are signed into law.”

“Consider some of the most heinous and noteworthy people in . . . prison today, they will undoubtedly be released within the next two years if these bills are signed into law,” a law enforcement source said.

The elder bill’s lead sponsors are Sen. Cordell Cleare (D-Manhattan) of Harlem and Assemblywoman Maritza Davilla (D-Brooklyn).

Under the measure, inmates who are sprung are entered into community supervision as if they served their full sentence. If they are rejected for parole, they must be informed in writing “as to the factors and reasons for the denial” — and automatically get a new chance at freedom after two years.

Every two years, victims’ families would be dragged back to the parole board to fight against the release of their loved one’s killer.

The Fair and Timely Parole bill’s lead sponsors are radical socialist state Sen. Julia Salazar (D-Brooklyn) and Assemblyman David Weprin (D-Queens).

The legislation makes it much easier for jailbirds to be set free provided they’re model prisoners – no matter how bloodthirsty their crime.

The People’s Campaign for Parole Justice, which is advocating for both bills, says Salazar and Weprin’s legislation would “provide more meaningful parole reviews.”

Olivia Murphy, a violent crime survivor and policy and communications associate for Release Aging People in Prison, defended both bills, saying inmates “who have taken accountability for their crimes and done the hard work of transforming their thinking and behavior” should be freed.

“The evidence is clear that forcing completely rehabilitated elders to spend their final years in prison costs a fortune and delivers zero public safety benefit,” said Murphy, whose advocacy campaign is funded by billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and other far-left groups.

“They have the lowest rates of reoffending once released and the highest incarceration costs.”

Raphael Mangual, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, believes both measures are gaining steam in Albany and could pass as soon as this year.

“I think it’s a real risk, especially given the recent decline in crime in New York City,” he said. “I think that might have led to a space where people might be more tolerant than they were five years ago of engaging in this kind of experiment.”

He added: “It really shouldn’t matter how well somebody behaves in prison. You should have behaved before you got there.

“You hear people who will say with very full confidence, including the advocates, that the likelihood of a person reoffending zeros out in older age,” he said. “No it doesn’t. A majority of state prisoners who are released will reoffend.”

The sibling of one murder victim found it unbelievable that his brother’s psychotic killer could be released after serving only 15 years of a 25 years-to-life sentence.

“My brother was brutally tortured to death throughout the night,” said Michael Pravia, the brother of 19-year-old Pace University student Kevin Pravia, who was murdered in 2008. “You know, I just feel like we’re living in a time where it feels like it’s another form of corruption, you know, letting these devils out of prison to harass the masses.

“They will have blood on their hands,” Pravia said of the legislators who pass the bills.

His brother’s killer, homeless drifter Jeromie Cancel, is in Auburn Correctional Facility.

“He was proud of his crimes,” said Pravia, whose brother was living near Union Square when he was choked with an electrical cord after inviting Cancel into his home.

Cancel smiled and laughed at his sentencing in 2010, sending the victim’s brother into a fury. “I’ll f—ing kill you, mother-f—er!” Pravia screamed at him in Manhattan Criminal Court.

“There is not one ounce of me that thinks he is rehabilitated or has the ability to be rehabilitated,” Pravia, 34, said Thursday. “I think he is truly a sociopath. He’s bragged that he would do it again.”

If the Fair and Timely bill passes, Cancel is likely to get out if he has a clean prison record, the law enforcement source said.

It’s not clear if Gov. Kathy Hochul, who’s running for reelection and needs liberal NYC to support her, would veto the two parole-reform bills.

A Hochul rep declined to elaborate on where Hochul stands on both pieces of legislation but said the  “governor is committed to ensuring the safety of New Yorkers and will review any bill that passes both houses of the Legislature.”

Presumptive Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman said he vehemently opposes bills and accused Hochul of pushing for the release of killers.

“Kathy Hochul has fast-tracked the release of violent criminals — even those who’ve killed police officers – and will certainly grant ‘get out of jail free’ cards to even more dangerous thugs,” the Nassau County executive said. “The Hochul pro-criminal era ends the day I take office.”

Another killer who could be released is cop-killer David McClary, who was sentenced to 25 years to life for assassinating rookie NYPD officer Edward Byrne as he sat in his car guarding the home of a witness in a Queens drug case in 1988.

Howard “Pappy” Mason, an infamous New York City drug kingpin, was convicted for ordering McClary to kill the young police officer.

McClary, who was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for pulling the trigger, is 60 years old and serving his time at Wende Correctional Facility in Erie County.

McClary has been denied parole eight times since becoming eligible in 2013, forcing the victim’s family to argue repeatedly to keep him behind bars.

His release is opposed by the Police Benevolent Association, which has been fighting a wave of 43 cop killer releases since 2017 when parole guidelines were modified to place greater emphasis on an inmate’s “progress” in prison rather than the severity of their crime.

PBA President Patrick Hendry said, “Passing either of these bills would be a cruel and despicable blow to the families of our fallen heroes.

“There is no age and no formula that can absolve cop-killers of their heinous crimes or entitle them to rejoin society,” Hendry said. “We will fight tooth and nail alongside the families of our murdered police officers to ensure [these two bills] do not become law.”

Maximize Your Strength: Discover the 7-Minute Workout That Outperforms 45 Minutes at the Gym for Those Over 60

Can you really build strength in just 7 minutes? According to a certified personal trainer, it’s more than possible, even after hitting 60, and you won’t need a gym membership to do it.

Spending countless hours in the gym isn’t always synonymous with better results. Research reveals that extended, high-intensity workouts often lead to exhaustion, compromised technique, joint stress, and increased injury risk, particularly if adequate recovery is neglected. For those over 60, enhancing strength depends more on how you challenge your muscles than on the duration of your workout.

A comprehensive 2025 review highlights that engaging in low- to moderate-volume strength training can yield substantial strength improvements for older adults when exercises are performed with precision, control, and sufficient intensity. This suggests that shorter, well-designed workouts can be remarkably effective for building strength.

With so many conflicting fitness tips online, pinpointing where to begin can be overwhelming. To cut through the noise, we consulted James Brady, CPT, a seasoned personal trainer at OriGym, who offers a potent 7-minute workout routine capable of delivering more strength gains than a typical 45-minute gym session.

But with all the misinformation online, knowing where to start can feel daunting. That’s why we chatted with James Brady, CPT, a certified personal trainer at OriGym, who shares an ultra-effective 7-minute routine that can build more strength than a 45-minute gym session.

“The idea that a 7-minute routine can outperform 45 minutes in the gym comes down to focus and intent,” Brady explains. “After 60, long sessions often lead to fatigue, poor form, and diminishing returns. Instead, short, targeted workouts done with control and consistency can be far more effective for building and maintaining strength.”

Sit-to-Stands

Sit-to-stands are a foundational exercise that strengthens your quads, glutes, and core. “Start with sit-to-stands from a chair,” advises Brady. “This movement builds lower body strength and reinforces a movement pattern used every day.”

How to do it:

  1. Sit on the edge of a sturdy chair or bench with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Position your feet hip-width apart.
  3. Keep your chest upright and your core engaged.
  4. Lean slightly forward at your hips.
  5. Press through your heels to stand up.
  6. Fully extend your hips and knees at the top.
  7. Slowly lower yourself back down with control (avoid dropping into the chair).
  8. Perform non-stop for 45 to 60 seconds at a controlled pace. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds and repeat two to three times.

Wall Push-ups

Wall push-ups are a joint-friendly way to build your upper-body strength. “Move straight into wall push ups or incline push ups,” Brady says. “These develop upper body strength without placing unnecessary strain on the joints.”

How to do it:

  1. Stand facing a wall with your feet about one step away.
  2. Place your hands on the wall at chest height.
  3. Position your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  4. Keep your body in a straight line from head to toe.
  5. Bend your elbows and lower your chest toward the wall.
  6. Pause for one to two seconds at the bottom of the movement.
  7. Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
  8. Complete two to three rounds of non-stop wall push-ups for 45 to 60 seconds. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between rounds.

Supported Split Squats

Supported split squats strengthen your legs while improving balance and coordination. “Include supported step backs or split squats using a chair for balance,” Brady recommends. “This improves strength, coordination, and stability at the same time.”

How to do it:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Hold onto a chair or wall for support if needed.
  3. Step one foot backward into a split stance.
  4. Lower your back knee toward the floor.
  5. Keep your front knee aligned over your ankle.
  6. Push through your front foot to return to standing.
  7. Switch legs and repeat.
  8. Perform for 45 to 60 seconds while alternating legs and without stopping. Complete two to three rounds with 45 to 60 seconds of rest in between.

Standing Knee Raises

Standing knee raises engage your core while boosting your balance. This movement also strengthens your ab muscles and enhances coordination.

How to do it:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Engage your core by tightening your ab muscles.
  3. Lift one knee toward hip height.
  4. Keep your posture upright and avoid leaning backward.
  5. Pause for one to two seconds at the top of the movement.
  6. Lower your leg back down with control.
  7. Repeat with the opposite leg.
  8. Continue alternating legs.
  9. Perform for 45 to 60 seconds without stopping. Repeat for two to three rounds, resting for 45 to 60 seconds between.

Standing March-in-Place

The standing march is crucial for maintaining mobility and strength as you age as it helps strengthen your core, improves balance and coordination, and enhances cardiovascular health.

How to do it:

  1. Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Engage your core and maintain an upright posture.
  3. March in place, lifting one knee at a time.
  4. Keep your shoulders relaxed and your chest lifted.
  5. Continue without stopping for 45 to 60 seconds across two to three rounds. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between rounds.

Enzo Maresca’s Mysterious Critique Sparks Chelsea Drama: Former Star Blasts Rosenior’s ‘Egotistical Power Play’ Amid Injury Boost for Reece James and Levi Colwill

Enzo Maresca might have subtly hinted at his former club, Chelsea, through a private message.

On Friday, coincidentally the same day Liam Rosenior disclosed Enzo Fernandez’s two-game suspension, a source suggested we take note of Maresca’s updated WhatsApp profile picture. The 46-year-old Italian often chooses a quote for his app photo, and his latest one states, “Stay true to your principles, and don’t sacrifice quality for profit.”

While it’s unclear precisely when Maresca changed his profile picture, it was different before the international break. Although the timing might be coincidental, it aligns with ongoing critiques of Chelsea’s strategy, including internal dissent. Marc Cucurella is among those who have voiced concerns about the club’s youth-focused approach.

Over the summer, several players were sold for more than their original purchase price, including Noni Madueke (bought for £29 million, sold for £52 million), Renato Veiga (purchased for £12 million, sold for £26 million), and Carney Chukwuemeka (acquired for £20 million, sold for £24 million).

In a press conference, Confidential asked Rosenior to explain the apparent policy shift, during which he also announced Fernandez’s penalty for speaking out. The Blues manager responded, “We’ve engaged in many exciting discussions on how to progress this summer. You’ll see the actions we take, rather than relying on my words now.”

Indeed, Chelsea’s sceptical fans will believe it when they see it in action, but Rosenior has adopted a strong stance in the last week.

As for Maresca, he is currently taking time to recharge before re-entering football. With a company behind him handling his Instagram account, a selection of pictures were uploaded this week showing him on holiday with family in the Maldives and reading a book called Football and Chess: Tactics, Strategy, Beauty by Adam Wells.

Maresca has declined interview requests from the media since leaving Chelsea on New Year’s Day. He is continuing to be linked with succeeding Pep Guardiola at his old club Manchester City this summer.

Chelsea academy pipeline hiring new head

Some Chelsea supporters have heard of the Kinetic Academy, having become a pipeline of sorts to the Cobham training pitches:

  • Calum McFarlane, former academy manager of Kinetic, now Chelsea first-team coach
  • Harry Hudson, co-founder of Kinetic, now Chelsea Under 21s head coach
  • Dan Hogan, former academy coach for Kinetic, now Chelsea Under 18s head coach

Joe Shields, Chelsea’s co-director of recruitment and talent, also won a reputation for talent spotting while working with Kinetic before moving into professional football on a full-time basis.

For those who do not know the work or origin of Kinetic, the foundation was founded by Hudson and James Fotheringham in the wake of the 2011 London riots.

As a football and education charity, they have helped more than 12,000 disadvantaged youngsters, with 82 signing for professional clubs. Deji Elerewe, now 22, was among those graduates fortunate enough to forge a career in the game and he was promoted to the Championship with Lincoln City on Monday.

While the wider focus inevitably falls on the Chelsea connection due to those at Cobham who likewise worked with Kinetic once upon a time, the foundation are now seeking a significant hire of their own.

They have started searching for a new head of academy with interviews being conducted this month. The job is listed as a full-time role at 40 hours per week and with a salary of £40,000-£50,000.

Fernandez and the ‘Gaffer’

Strange story alert… You may have seen the video I uploaded to X before Saturday’s 7-0 FA Cup win over Port Vale, showing that the suspended Fernandez was in attendance at Stamford Bridge to support his team-mates as he took his seat on the substitutes’ bench.

What you may not have noticed while Fernandez was shaking hands with fans in the Dugout Club – the pricey seats behind the Blues’ bench – was that the former EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney was among those he greeted.

If you are wondering what relevance this has, here goes: Gaffney reportedly suffered a broken collar bone in 2022 after being hit by a car driven by Wesley Fofana while the I’m a Celebrity contestant was trying to hail a cab on King’s Road in Chelsea, west London.

Fofana was not held responsible for the accident involving his Lamborghini, according to the reports. The £70million defender has since been banned from driving with 50 points on his licence. They did not appear to cross paths again before that victory over Vale as Fofana completed the full 90.

Former Blue Johnson slams Rosenior’s ‘egotistical power play’

Rosenior’s response to Fernandez’s flirting with Real Madrid was strong, with Chelsea announcing they had banned their own vice-captain for two games, against Port Vale in the FA Cup and Manchester City in the Premier League.

Rosenior will confirm at his press conference this Friday whether Fernandez will still miss the visit of City after their continued talks. The initial response to the news was split, with Glen Johnson, Chelsea’s former right back, among those who thought Rosenior had made a mistake.

‘There are bust-ups in football, left, right and centre, that people never hear about because the issues are kept in-house,’ Johnson told Confidential, speaking via the football slot provider CasinoWizard. ‘As an outsider looking in, it looks clear that Rosenior is trying to deliver a public message. He’s saying, “Look, I am not taking any s***”.

‘Which for me is a bit egotistical. You could have easily just not picked him and said he is injured or something or given him a big fine. You can still let the squad know that you aren’t going to take any s***. But you don’t have to show the whole world you are the manager and I am going to do this.

‘If he loses this game (against City at home) and misses out on Champions League qualification, then it’s bonkers because (Fernandez) is a key player for them. It’s just a power play.’

Rosenior said last week that Fernandez will not be stripped of his spot in Chelsea’s leadership group, though we will need to wait to see whether he wears the armband again, or if someone such as Moises Caicedo is handed it the next time he features.

Brighton banking with Barco

If Chelsea bring in Valentin Barco from their sister club Strasbourg this summer, more money will be due to Brighton. That is owing to a sell-on clause which we understand is worth 10 per cent of the 21-year-old Argentinian’s next transfer fee.

Strasbourg signed Barco from the Seagulls last summer for £8.7m, and then-Brighton technical director David Weir said at the time: ‘This is a move that suits all parties, and we wish Valentin the best of luck for the future.’

Weir then left Brighton in September 2025, and Confidential revealed how we spied the 55-year-old sitting among the Chelsea owners and directors at an away game at Old Trafford. A month after leaving Brighton, Weir was confirmed as the new sporting director of Strasbourg.

Good news for Chelsea and England

Reece James is on course to return for Chelsea before the end of this season, which would be a boost for Thomas Tuchel and England. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since last month’s loss to Newcastle when he picked up another hamstring problem.

Rosenior does not like placing timeframes on when players will return, but it is believed James is in line to feature again for Chelsea in 2025-26, and Levi Colwill could likewise come back from his ACL horror before the close of this campaign, barring any setbacks. Colwill is now training fully at Cobham and building up his fitness.

All eyes on the top five

It is now confirmed that the Premier League will get five places in next season’s Champions League after Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Sporting CP in Lisbon – ex-Chelsea man Kai Havertz with the winner – sealed a European Performance Spot for England for the second successive campaign.

This is decidedly good news for the Blues, who are just a point behind fifth-placed Liverpool but six behind Aston Villa in the top four, with seven matches to play.

Transgender Actress Exposes Shocking Texts: A Tale of Courage and Confrontation

0

Actress Tommy Dorfman, known for her role in “I Wish You All the Best,” recently took to social media to address an uncomfortable encounter with a fellow passenger during a flight.

The 33-year-old actress, who has previously spoken out about being misgendered by a Delta employee, shared images of text messages she claimed were sent by the traveler sitting next to her.

Dorfman revealed that the passenger had sent the same offensive message to multiple contacts, expressing transphobic sentiments and lamenting his seat assignment. The message read: “I am in the first aisle of First Class. Guess what is sitting next to me? A f***ing transsexual in the midst of going from a man to a woman. Just my luck. I was hoping for a hot babe!!”

She wrote in an Instagram caption on Friday, ‘The audacity of this man so blatantly blasting off texts about me only reaffirms the choices i’ve made for myself to feel safe and comfortable in my body and spirit.’

In response, Dorfman addressed the situation by saying, “Objectively, I know I’m not ‘passing’ and I’m ‘bricky’ and ‘clocky,’ but passing hasn’t been the point for me nor should it be for any trans person.”

She further commented, “We are all allowed to evolve in any way that feels true, and that evolution can expand and contract. It’s always been about alignment and autonomy for my own comfort, not the comfort of others or the expectations of society.”

Dorfman stitched a photo of the passenger with a zoomed-in shot of one of his texts, adding the caption, ‘Someone get your grandpa.’

Another photo in the carousel post showed him texting a woman named Samantha about Dorfman, writing, ‘2 and a half hours of sitting next to this freak!!’

The recipient of the text replied, ‘Just remember, many people you love are lgbtq+ and this country sucks for them right now. Be kind!’

Dorfman expressed appreciation by writing over the photo, ‘Wait Samantha ily girl.’

There was also a response to the man saying he’d hoped for ‘a hot babe,’ which read, ‘You got one! A brand new one,’ sent from someone named Dave.

The actress captioned, ‘Also Dave (?) kinda tore w this,’ once again expressing her gratitude.

Dorfman noted in her lengthy message that the choices she’s made in how she expressed herself have ‘come at the cost of safety and comfort in the world, especially in america, and that’s not without consequence internally and externally.’

She acknowledged, ‘i am lucky to have the life i have, the ability to fly freely (for now), and even post sh*t like this.’

The 13 Reasons Why star said she decided to share the text messages and her experience on the flight ‘because I can.’

She went on to describe the passenger as ‘an alt right vampire,’ and also said ‘Samantha deserves her flowers.’

Dorfman also said she spared her online audience ‘the deeply misogynistic and revolting comments’ the man sitting next to her made about the flight attendants.

The TV star did not disclose which airline the incident took place on or provide a date.

Internet personality Liza Koshy commented, ‘We love YOU and we looove Samantha.’

It comes more than two years after Dorfman faced off with a Delta employee who she said misgendered her in a viral video.

Dorfman came out as transgender in a 2021 interview with Time magazine, but said she had been living as a woman ‘privately’ for a year prior.
