Rhapsody Of Realities 17 April 2026: Backed By Heaven’s Economy

Rhapsody Of Realities 17 April 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Backed By Heaven’s Economy

TOPIC: Backed By Heaven’s Economy (Rhapsody of Realities 17 April 2026)

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it (Ecclesiastes 7:12).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

God has given us both wisdom and finances for the fulfilment of His vision. The Gospel is too important and too urgent to be limited by financial constraints. A life-transforming message requires resources for its spread, and God has made the resources available to His children by His Spirit. He has supplied us abundantly with what we need to fulfil His purpose.

This is why you must have the right mentality about money. Never be intimidated by figures. Many become anxious, calculating and worrying about where the supply will come from. That’s not the mindset of faith. Children never worry about money; rather, they’re provision-conscious. They live with a consciousness that everything needed is available.

The Lord Jesus said we must receive the Kingdom as little children. This includes the way we think about resources. Think abundance; think supply; think possibility. Think like one with an unlimited source. Whenever thoughts of lack attempt to rise in your mind, refuse them vehemently. Simply switch your mind to the truth that you’re backed by Heaven’s economy.

Christ gave you access to God’s inexhaustible supply. In Him, all things are yours. His blessing is your advantage. Your job or business is not your source but your platform to express your God-given gift and bless your world, a channel, not the origin of your resources.

Those who look to their careers as their source become bound by the world’s economic cycles, job transitions, and human evaluations. But your value and success are not tied to this earthly realm or any earthly system. You function from a higher Kingdom, under a higher economy, the economy of heaven, which operates by faith.

The way of faith is to believe and act on what the Lord Jesus has already accomplished. That’s the way to live above the thraldom of economic meltdowns and financial fears, whilst floating in the grace of abundance. Have this mindset. It’s the reality of those in Christ.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for making all grace abound toward me. I refuse to fear or worry about resources. I think abundance because I have access to your inexhaustible supply. I use money for your purpose and live as a distributor of blessings, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Ephesians 3:8 (AMPC) To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out],

Philippians 4:19 (KJV) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMPC) And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

Pentagon Spokesperson Criticizes Media Coverage of Pete Hegseth’s Pulp Fiction Bible Verse Reference

During a recent worship service, Pete Hegseth, known for his patriotic fervor, delivered a poignant prayer that was handed to him by the “lead mission planner” involved in a daring rescue operation. This mission, aimed at retrieving two Air Force personnel shot down over Iran, was marked by high stakes and intense pressure.

In his invocation, Hegseth adapted a powerful message, saying, “The path of the downed aviator is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.” His words resonated with the audience, invoking a sense of duty and solidarity among all those gathered.

He continued with a stirring exhortation: “Blessed is he who, in the name of camaraderie and duty, shepherds the lost through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children.” This statement underscored the profound sense of responsibility felt by those involved in rescue missions.

Hegseth’s prayer culminated with a powerful declaration: “And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to capture and destroy my brother. And you will know my call sign is Sandy 1 when I lay my vengeance upon thee, and amen.” This dramatic conclusion drew attention for its bold and cinematic phrasing.

Sean Parnell, a spokesperson for the Pentagon, remarked on the prayer’s content, noting that it was “obviously inspired by dialogue in Pulp Fiction.” The reference to the iconic film highlights how popular culture can intersect with real-life events, even in solemn settings.

“However, both the CSAR prayer and the dialogue in Pulp Fiction were reflections of the verse Ezekiel 25:17, as Secretary Hegseth clearly said in his remarks at the prayer service,” Parnell said.

“Anyone saying the Secretary misquoted Ezekiel 25:17 is peddling fake news and ignorant of reality.”

The first few lines of the prayer were written by Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary in the popular ’90s film.

In the movie, the character played by Samuel L Jackson falsely claims they are from the Bible passage Ezekiel 25:17.

Jackson’s character utters the verse before gunning down a small-time criminal who owed his gangster boss money.

But Hegseth’s prayer changed “the LORD” in the Bible so it was instead about the unit involved in the rescue.

On Monday Donald Trump posted an AI-generated image of himself as Jesus Christ. He later deleted it.

He has also made the extraordinary rare move of attacking the pope after he called for peace in the Middle East.

And Vice President JD Vance criticised Pope Leo XIV for his comments.

“In the same way that it’s important for the vice president of the United States to be careful when I talk about matters of public policy, I think it’s very, very important for the Pope to be careful when he talks about matters of theology,” Vance said.

“If you’re going to opine on matters of theology, you’ve got to be careful, you’ve got to make sure it’s anchored in the truth.”

Today the Archbishop of Canterbury, the most senior member of clergy in the Anglican church, issued a statement in support of the Catholic pontiff.

“I stand with my brother in Christ, his holiness Pope Leo XIV, in his courageous call for a kingdom of peace,” Archbishop Sarah Mullally said.

“As innocent people are killed and displaced, families torn apart and futures destroyed, the human cost of war is incalculable.”

Bradenton Driver Sentenced to 25 Years for Tragic Crash That Claimed Mother of Two

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A man from Bradenton has been sentenced to 25 years in prison following a tragic high-speed drunk driving incident that resulted in a fatal accident. The crash, which occurred on November 2, 2024, led to the devastating loss of 37-year-old Sara Danielle Holmes, a mother of two young children.

Sara Holmes was a passenger in a vehicle that was violently struck by Cesar Navarrete. The impact was so severe that it split the car in half. Navarrete, who was driving at a reckless speed of 115 mph on Cortez Road, failed to brake or take evasive action before colliding with the Chevrolet Equinox driven by Holmes’ boyfriend.

Unraveling ‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Finale: Can Baby Jane Doe Rescue Dr. Robby?

The second season of The Pitt has intensely chronicled the emotional turmoil faced by Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, portrayed by Noah Wyle. Throughout the series, viewers have witnessed Robby grappling with suicidal thoughts, burdened by the cumulative trauma he has experienced. In a poignant moment from last week’s episode of the HBO Max sensation, Robby confided in his friend Duke, played by Jeff Kober, expressing that he felt overwhelmed by his psychological struggles and no longer wished to continue living.

As fans eagerly anticipate the season finale, the question looms: Does Robby’s journey culminate with him leaving Pittsburgh on his motorcycle, ready to risk it all?

**Spoilers ahead for the Season 2 finale of The Pitt, now available for streaming on HBO Max**

In the concluding scene of The Pitt Season 2—excluding a delightful post-credits surprise featuring an unexpected karaoke duo, Dr. Mel King (Taylor Dearden) and Dr. Trinity Santos (Isa Briones)—Dr. Robby is seen tending to his final patient of the shift: an abandoned infant known as Baby Jane Doe.

In a touching moment, Robby assures a nurse that he will watch over the baby while a new bottle of formula is being prepared. It is here that Robby rediscovers the compassion that Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi) had noted was missing from him all season. As he tenderly swaddles the restless infant, Robby begins to speak to her, sharing words that not only soothe Baby Jane Doe but also start to mend his own wounded spirit.

Of course, Dr. Robby isn’t the only doctor in trouble in The Pitt Season 2 finale. After last week’s big reveal about Dr. Al-Hashimi’s seizures, Robby argues that she’s not fit to act as the attending physician in his ED until she gets help for her condition.

So what’s next for Dr. Robby and Dr. Al? Here’s what you need to know about the end of The Pitt Season 2…

The Pitt Season 2 Ending Explained: Is Dr. Robby Going To Get Help? What That Final Moment With Baby Jane Doe Means

Well, well, well, it looks like the breakout star of The Pitt Season 2 — Baby Jane Doe — was the one person who could finally really, truly get through to Robby before his trip. Sure, Duke and Abbot (Shawn Hatosy) both managed to make breakthroughs, but the moment we finally know that Robby is going to be okay (for now) is when he swaddles and sways with Baby Jane Doe.

“I wish somebody would swaddle me. Yes, I so,” Robby says, lifting the baby girl into his arms. “You got off to kind of a rough start, didn’t you, little one?”

“Well, that makes two of us. I got abandoned, too. When I was eight. But I got through all of that, and so will you. I got a good feeling that you’re gonna be just fine. Everything’s gonna be just fine. You got so many wonderful things to see and so many people to love ahead of you.”

With tears in his eyes, Robby repeats that last part. “So many wonderful things to see, and people to love ahead of you.”

As Baby Jane Doe falls asleep on Robby’s shoulder, he repeats that it’s going to be okay. We then fade out to the credits and lighter scene wherein Mel and Santos sing Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know” at karaoke.

So Robby is probably going to be okay, but it’s going to take a lot of work to get there. (He’s kind of the star of The Pitt, so you have to expect he’ll be back in Season 3.)

Is Sepideh Moafi Leaving The Pitt? Will Dr. Al-Hashimi Return in The Pitt Season 3?

The Pitt fandom was rocked recently when news broke that Supriya Ganesh would be exiting the series, meaning that Dr. Samira Mohan’s no-good-very-bad-day in Season 2 was sadly enough to break her (or she’s pursuing geriatrics as a career elsewhere!). What about Dr. Al-Hashimi? Will Sepideh Moafi be back.

When DECIDER spoke with Moafi last week, she admitted that the season ends with Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi “just grieving” the situation she finds herself in. Robby threatens to reveal her condition to the board — which could ruin her career — unless she takes action herself. At first, Dr. Al is defiant, yelling at Robby and planning to drive home despite her condition. Then she stops in the parking lot and begins sobbing.

DECIDER asked Moafi what she imagines as Baran’s next steps and she said, “I think that she’s knocked down.”

“I always say you let it spoil your dinner, but not your breakfast. I think it spoils more than her breakfast. It spoils maybe a few days because this is lifelong grief,” Moafi said. “Then she gets back up and she, as always, gets the help she needs. She’s not proud about that. She knows that vulnerability is strength and seeking help is power. And so I think she seeks the help that she needs and continues on from there.”

However, Moafi wouldn’t confirm or deny whether or not she’ll be back in The Pitt Season 3, so we won’t know if her character heals from her seizures and returns to the ED in time for the next hellacious shift on HBO Max.

Will There Be a Third Season of The Pitt?

HBO Max has already renewed The Pitt for Season 3. The Pitt Season 3 will come out in January 2027.

Meghan Trainor Announces Nationwide Tour Cancellation and Issues Heartfelt Apology to Fans

Meghan Trainor has unexpectedly called off her Get In Girl Tour, which was scheduled to begin in just two months.

The 32-year-old pop star, who recently shared her journey of undergoing intensive therapy to strengthen her marriage, broke the news to her followers through Instagram stories on Thursday.

Known for her chart-topping single “All About That Bass,” Trainor was set to launch her tour on June 12 in Michigan, with plans to visit 32 other locations throughout North America.

In her heartfelt message, Trainor expressed, “After deep reflection and some challenging discussions, I’ve made the tough choice to cancel The Get In Girl Tour.”

She elaborated, saying, “Juggling the release of a new album, gearing up for a major tour, and embracing our new baby girl into our family of five has become overwhelming at the moment.”

The music artist penned that she needs to prioritize being at ‘home and present’ for her loved ones.

‘After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,’ Trainor wrote

‘I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down.’

Trainor added that cancelling the summer tour ‘is the right decision for my family and me right now.’

She sent a ‘promise’ to her fans that she plans to ‘be back soon’ and ‘can’t wait for you to hear this new record.’

The singer is set to drop her seventh studio album Toy With Me later this month on April 24.

‘I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always,’ Trainor concluded.

The Made You Look songstress initially announced The Get In Girl Tour last year in November and wrote at the time on social media: ‘GET IN GIRL, WE’RE GOING ON TOUR!! Can’t wait to see you! Let the countdown begin!’

She had been set to begin concerts on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan before making stops in other cities such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Orlando, NYC, Chicago and San Francisco.

Her final concert was scheduled for August 15 in Los Angeles.

Trainor had previously opened up about what fans could have expected when it came to the tour.

‘I’m going to do dance lessons. I’m going to be very fit. We’re going to be jumping, dancing,’ she told People late last year.

‘It’s going to be a party, but it’s a party for everyone, for kids, for adults, for grandparents.’

The singer further expressed, ‘I love when I see grandparents in the crowd. I love when the dads sing every word. I go, “Yeah, dad.” It’s my favorite.’

While her summer tour has been cancelled, Trainor is still set to release her new album Toy With Me on April 24.

And during an interview with Us Weekly earlier this week, Trainor talked about how songs on the album were inspired by comments on her appearance.

She recalled attending the Billboard Women in Music Awards last year and the ‘hate’ she received on social media soon after.

‘Like, nothing to do with my music or work or who I am as a person. It was like, “Ew, look at her…” I didn’t expect that, which is silly. It was kind of a slap in the face.’

The mom-of-three added, ‘I was like, “Ten years later and we’re still talking about my body?”… I was writing the album while that happened, and that’s when we wrote Still Don’t Care.’

Late last year in November, the star released the LP’s lead single Still Don’t Care which peaked at number 17 on the Billboard US Adult Pop Airplay chart.

That same month, the Made You Look hitmaker came to her own defense as she slammed haters over ‘evil’ comments about her dramatic weight loss.

The star – who has admitted to losing 60 pounds after taking Mounjaro and undergone a boob job – revealed that she ‘cried’ over harsh criticism from trolls during an interview with Extra.

‘Like, all my comments were just evil, attacking me,’ she explained. ‘I started posting pictures of myself recently, just like I always did.

‘But for some reason a flame went off, and everyone got mad. Just like, “Ew, I don’t recognize you, you’re just a walking nose.” Just crazy stuff, like mean.’

While the star tried to tell herself that it didn’t ‘affect’ her, Trainor expressed that ‘it did.’

The performer continues to brush aside trolls while expressing that she not only ‘feels great’ but is at her ‘healthiest.’

Other tracks such as Shimmer were written for her baby daughter – who was welcomed to the world in January via surrogate.

‘I wrote these songs for my baby girl, for when she’s in middle school, or when she goes through her first breakup, and yeah, when she needs to shimmer and feel confident,’ she also told Us Weekly.

Trainor has also been putting focus into her growing family.

Shortly after the new year, the songstress announced that she secretly welcomed her third child with husband Daryl Sabara.

The couple – who tied the knot in 2018 – are also parents to sons Riley, five, and Barry, two.

Along with sharing adorable photos to Instagram, the All About That Bass hitmaker also unveiled the newborn’s very unique name: Mikey Moon.

‘Jan 18th 2026 Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,’ the songstress penned to her followers.

‘We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible.’

The star further explained that both she and her husband ‘had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.’

In conclusion, Trainor gushed that, ‘We are over the moon in love with this precious girl.’

Federal Authorities Mandate Flight Reductions at Chicago O’Hare to Alleviate Airport Delays

0

In a bid to alleviate congestion and minimize delays, federal authorities revealed on Thursday that approximately 300 flights will need to be trimmed from Chicago O’Hare International Airport’s daily schedule during peak summer days.

“Our goal is to ensure that when you book a flight, you and your loved ones can travel without facing prolonged delays or cancellations,” stated Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

Renowned for its bustling activity, O’Hare tops the list of U.S. airports in terms of flight volume, yet it also ranked poorly nationwide for flight punctuality last year.

This summer, the airport was set to accommodate over 3,080 daily flights on its busiest days, marking a 14.9% rise from the previous summer, as reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration. This increase comes amid ongoing construction that has led to taxiway shutdowns, challenging air traffic controllers.

The federal government’s draft order highlights that both American and United Airlines have outlined expansion plans at O’Hare, potentially causing significant delays and straining the airport’s capacity to manage the anticipated surge in air traffic.

Duffy said that the schedule was unrealistic and would have exceeded what the airport could handle. So the number of flights at the airport will be limited to a maximum of 2,708, which is still slightly higher than maximum of 2,680 flights that were scheduled at the peak of last summer. He said that “will reduce delays and make this busy summer travel season a little easier.”

On slower days of the week, fewer flights will have to be cut because a smaller number was scheduled in the first place. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays are typically slower days of the week for flights.

The flight limits will take effect May 17 and last through Oct. 24.

Airlines will go through the details of the order to figure out how many flights they have to cancel and then will notify customers.

American Airlines said that once implemented, the FAA’s order will improve reliability and reduce delays for customers traveling through O’Hare this summer.

“We are grateful to Secretary Duffy, Administrator Bedford, and their leadership teams for acting swiftly to ensure that Chicagoans and all consumers continue to benefit from sensible competition and to help minimize flight disruptions during the busy summer season,” American said in a statement.

American told employees in a memo that it estimates that it will have to cut no more than 40 arrivals and departures per day, but it estimates that United might have to cut more than 200 arrivals and departures based on the published schedules. United did not provide an estimate of how many flights it will have to cut.

United said the airline appreciates that the government came up with “a solution that makes sense for everyone who cares about O’Hare’s success.”

Both airlines will review the order and their scheduled to determine where to make cuts and then notify travelers who are affected.

Iranian Footballers Express Gratitude to Australia for Asylum, Request Privacy Amidst Safe Haven Transition

0

In Brief

  • Two Iranian footballers who sought asylum in Australia have thanked the government for providing a “safe haven”.
  • The pair said they were keen to continue playing but would not be speaking publicly anytime soon.

Two Iranian female footballers who have sought refuge in Australia are expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support they’ve received as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Atefeh Ramezanisadeh and Fatemeh Pasandideh have voiced their appreciation after being offered the chance to stay in Australia, following a tumultuous Women’s Asian Cup tournament for Iran.

“The compassion and support we’ve experienced during this difficult period have given us hope for a future where we can live and compete safely,” they shared in a joint statement on Friday.

The pair were part of a group of seven from the Iranian squad—comprising six players and one member of the support staff—who became the center of diplomatic tensions after being granted humanitarian visas in Australia post their Asian Cup participation in March.

Concerns for the team’s safety surged after they were branded as “wartime traitors” by Iran’s state media for their refusal to sing the national anthem at the start of their Asian Cup match.

Five squad members later withdrew their asylum claims and returned to Iran.

Pasandideh and Ramezanisadeh thanked the Australian government on Friday for providing a “safe haven in this beautiful country”, singling out Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke for granting humanitarian protection.

They also saluted Home Affairs staff support, saying they had been overwhelmed by the generosity of Australia’s Iranian community as they entered the next chapter of their lives.

“Your support has made us feel welcome and less alone as we navigate this transition,” they said.

“At this stage, our primary focus is on our safety, our health and beginning the process of rebuilding our lives.”

A-League Women’s club Brisbane Roar has provided Pasandideh and Ramezanisadeh access to their training facilities, saying it was committed to providing a supportive environment.

The duo said they were keen to continue playing but would not be speaking publicly anytime soon.

“We are elite athletes, and it remains our dream to continue our sporting careers here in Australia,” they said.

“However, we are not yet ready to speak publicly about our experiences. We respectfully ask the media for privacy and space at this time.

“We will not be making any further comments or conducting interviews in the immediate future.”

Alleged Wife Killer’s Shocking Search for a New Partner Uncovered: A Disturbing Twist in Ongoing Investigation

A man charged with the murder of his wife, whose body was found in a freezer at their Virginia apartment, is now reportedly seeking a new partner. This startling development comes as David Varela, 38, awaits trial for the first-degree murder of 39-year-old Lina Guerra, a case that has captivated attention far beyond the local community.

In February, the Norfolk Police Department formally announced the charges against Varela, which include not only murder but also the concealment of a body to evade detection, according to details from a federal affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime. This case has drawn significant attention, partly due to the international efforts involved in apprehending Varela.

The saga began when authorities responded to a call on February 5 from Guerra’s brother, who had grown concerned after weeks of no contact with his sister. The police arrived at the Icon Norfolk Apartments on East Main Street in Norfolk, Virginia, where they made the grim discovery.

Further complicating matters, Varela, a reservist with the U.S. Navy, had also been unresponsive to his superiors, a departure from his usual conduct, according to the affidavit. This unusual behavior contributed to the urgency of the search that ultimately spanned thousands of miles, culminating in Varela’s arrest by federal authorities.

Authorities learned that her husband, Varela, was an active reservist with the U.S. Navy and was reportedly not responding to calls from his immediate supervisor, which was “unusual behavior for him.”

Officers searched the apartment and found Guerra dead in the kitchen freezer, according to court documents. Her cellphone was in the residence, while Varela’s Tesla was outside in the parking lot.

Authorities conducted an autopsy and ruled that Guerra’s manner of death was homicide by way of blunt force trauma and asphyxiation. Detectives learned, with assistance from federal authorities, that Varela boarded a flight to Hong Kong “on or about Feb. 5, 2026,” with WhatsApp location data “originating” there as well, according to the affidavit.

Investigators also learned that Varela had family in Colombia, though they did not see “any discernible ties” to Hong Kong or China.

Five days after finding Guerra’s body, authorities charged Varela with murder. And on Wednesday, FBI Director Kash Patel announced that Varela was apprehended.

“Mr. Varela has been on the run for over two months attempting to avoid prosecution for these heinous crimes, but justice doesn’t forget,” Patel said.

Guerra also has family in Colombia, and they told Norfolk CBS affiliate WTKR that Varela displayed abusive behavior in the past, such as not allowing her to have a job, have friends, or leave their home alone. He also had allegedly been physically abusive.

“He had hit her previously, but she didn’t tell us because she didn’t want to worry us,” said Guerra’s sister-in-law, Paola Ramirez, through a translator. “He appeared to be very religious, very calm, normal, that’s why this is so shocking; we never imagined he’d do something like this.”

On Friday, the regional outlet said it received a message from a woman in Russia saying she suspected she and her friend had met Varela in Hong Kong.

“I was in Hong Kong with my friends,” the woman — also speaking through a translator — told WTKR. “We met this man while waiting in line at an attraction. He introduced himself as David and said he was looking for a Russian wife.”

When the woman continued talking with the man — alleged to be Varela, who even reportedly planned a trip for her to visit him again — her friend looked him up and found U.S. reports that he was wanted.

“What we saw shocked us and we decided to get in touch with you,” the woman said, providing two phone numbers she said were his. When the outlet’s investigative reporter used Telegram to call him via video, they said a man who seemed to be Varela picked up.

Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney Ramin Fatehi has previously expressed his desire to extradite Varela to Virginia to face his charges.
