EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WCIA) — The Effingham Fire Department in Central Illinois proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art facility, which promises to enhance the training and readiness of its firefighters for years to come.
The department’s latest addition is a cutting-edge fire training center, significantly improving their capabilities. Unlike the previous center, which featured only five sections, this new facility boasts 18 dedicated areas for a wide range of training exercises.
“The variety of skills we can now develop is impressive, and it represents a major advancement for our team,” expressed firefighter Cole Marxman.
